In the Sterling Hall, you'll find a bakery/lunch spot that provides a heart meal and delicious pastries. They're open for breakfast and lunch and my favorite lunch item is the pastrami sandwich. It's hearty and I love the cole slaw on the meaty sandwich on fresh baked bread. I also love getting the Seedo salad with chicken. The chicken is full of delicious Mediterranean flavor! I always treat myself to one of Theo baked good. I enjoy a good zaatar manakeesh, or olive focaccia. To satisfy your sweet tooth, go for my new favorite dessert, the basboosa poundcake. My goodness that's heaven! Every time I go I get a couple smiling faces, they're so friendly and answer all my question. The food comes out quick, too! It's in the Sterling Food Hall, which is pretty lively and always busy. But you can find a spot to sit. I really love Seedo's Bakery. It's one of my favorite spots in the Loop and encourage you to visit!!

Visiting Chicago for a few days and saw this place on Google Maps. Was curious because I saw "seedo" in the name, which is Arabic for grandpa I believe. This little bakery and cafe is inside a larger food hall, but manages to maintain a cute and charming space. Their menu items were unique and delicious. I also loved seeing Arab representation in their drinks and Arab kindness and hospitality when they took our orders. Great service, great food, and lots of seating!

Had a roasted cauliflower veggie sandwich with harissa. The bread was so good. Really enjoyed this sandwich and it was awesome that it was in a food hall so everyone could have a different option and then we could all dine together. Great food options all around.

I was really excited to hear that a Palestinian bakery had opened downtown - I feel like downtown food options are pretty mediocre (more expensive but also not as good) and I was excited to try this place in the Sterling food hall. I am happy to report I was very pleased - I specifically got an order of elote manakeesh (they have seasonal manakeeshes I believe and they rotate), which was so excellent. Truly sparked so much joy to eat this in the middle of the work day and I would go back to Seedo's just to see what other stuff they have in their pastry case. I also enjoyed the turkey sandweesh, especially the quality of the bread.

New found hidden gem. I remember reading an article about this place but I wrote them off due to the fact that in regard to breakfast the loop tends to be a sea of mediocrity. Boy was I wrong. Although somewhat simple & me desperately wanting to add some type of a breakfast sausage this sandwich was a flavor bomb. The bread along with the aioli have me ready to rank it in the top five breakfast sandwiches in the entire city. Get here fast before word spreads & prices increase.

Walked past this spot for the first time a couple days ago... I am a pastry lover, so it only made sense that I paid a visit today. Their pastry case had been raided -- only a few options remained (makes sense, as they were an hour till close). I went for the last slice of Sticky Date Cake. Holy mackerel it was delicious!!! Heavy, moist, spiced, sticky, sweet... what more could you ask for. I wish I'd possessed the self control to stop eating it so I could've warmed it up. Maybe next time!!

Turkey sandweesh 10/10 $14 but this is huge.

I tried their sandwiches from a yelp event and ever since then I'm hooked. This is a great addition to the sterling food hall both. They offer Palestinian inspired baked goods and yummy sandwiches. The ladies that helped me today seemed very nice and definitely a great spot to grab something quick for lunch.

I am definitely coming back here again! I loved it. The service was quick and friendly. I got the pastrami sandwich and they heated it up a little. The flavors were amazing and the food court it was situated in was cute. My colleagues get food from Seedo's often and they love it. I can't wait to try more of their stuff!

Small bakery/sandwich shop in revival food hall. The pastries are amazing 10/10 Sandwiches 8/10 I got the zatar cheese one was amazing and the pastrami sandwich (meats are halal/ethically cut) was a perfect sandwich and had a lot of flavor! Bread is fluffy and crispy at the same time Def coming back for more!! Ps: grab a coffee next door and some pastries and you won't be disappointed

    caramel tahini latte

We stopped into Seedo's bakery for lunch & loved every single item we ordered! Their pastrami & turkey sandwiches were unlike any other in the city, absolutely delicious. If you're just stopping in for coffee i highly recommend their caramel tahini latte, their cappuccinos were great as well. The pistachio croissant was my personal favorite dessert, but i'd highly recommend any of them. If you haven't gone yet, you're missing out.

Bakery items were so good! Fresh and delicious! The peanut butter and jelly cookies were outstanding! The chocolate chip cookie was packed with chocolate in every bite. Crisp and chewy!

I've been a customer of almost 10 years and have been obsessed since they first opened their doors at a different location. I literally live an hour away without traffic and even longer with traffic, but I make sure to stop by or send someone else to get it for me at least once a month or more. I love the amazing cakes that are so delicious and unique but on top of that, it is Asian owned, LGBTQ supporting, etc. A lot has changed since their little storefront with no seating. The bakery is now a full on cafe and I'm so happy to see how much they've grown and how successful they are. And while it is glorious, I will say I miss the sweet neighborhood charm and great customer service it used to have. Getting in touch with the bakery through phone or text can be tough and to be honest, sometimes one of the people working there is kind of...very mean. It had me questioning if I should keep coming back. I just love this bakery so much though and being raised by parents that had a small food business, I can't help but want to support. I had a particularly difficult last minute request for the bakery a few weeks ago and I was reminded why this place is so great. It had been YEARS since I made this specific request, which was an order for a slice of cake for every flavor and a cupcake for every flavor. This is a BIG and time consuming request, especially if it's last minute. Unfortunately I come to the city whenever the traffic isn't atrocious, so it's always last minute. Dom absolutely pulled through though. Even though there were other employees there (I saw two others but one disappeared and then another male was kind of walking around the cafe and such), Dom took this giant request and fulfilled it himself. The other gentleman (not the mean person previously mentioned) was actually who I made the request to, but he told Dom to do it. I was kind of confused why they didn't do it together but idk, maybe the other guy isn't allowed to handle food? Who knows. Regardless, this request obviously took a long time and the line was getting longer; people were getting a little restless but Dom stayed calm but was swift. I swear he was moving faster than most people in the industry could with a cake knife like that. He was not impatient or rude to me at all. He was just there to do his job as fast and well as possible. It's so rare to see that type of work ethic. He is also so obviously proud of the bakery and the food they serve which makes you feel good about being a patron there. So although I continue to have an unpleasant experience with one particular employee there, Dom keeps my love for this bakery alive. He reminds me of what this bakery was like when they first opened their doors. I hope Dom is cherished there and I bet he is considering his work ethic. I will continue to support this bakery and I recommend everyone else to support as well. It may not be that small little shop anymore but Dom is a reminder of the heart of the place.

Don't fret! But waiting 2 hours in line for this on a weekday morning and knowing this spot has 2 michelin stars, i had higher expectations - i wouldn't say anything is particularly memorable and nothing was perfect except for the ube & huckleberry basque cake; the dishes were either lacking in flavor or texture - service was quick and welcoming - very homey cozy ambiance with tons of natural lighting; i felt so comfortable dining here - the most surprising part is this place being so hyped up when anything in la & ny could easily taste better and more authentic IG: @nom.noms.only

Let me tell you, it was all I hoped it could be and more. The storefront was pretty small with a few tables- between the size, hours, and popularity (they were only open a few days a week and closed at 2pm), I suspected that the shop sold out often. I went on a weekday and there was still a good selection of pastries left around 11am. The staff was super nice and helpful as I struggled to make a decision. They shared that the strawberry milk croissant was their bestseller, so I opted for that. It was filled with fresh strawberry mascarpone and fresh strawberry puree. Despite the croissant's decadent appearance, it was not at all too sweet. I'm not typically the biggest croissant fan (I know, I know, no one is perfect) but this pastry blew me away. The filling was super generous without overpowering the delicate dough, which was baked to crispy perfection. Sadly, I don't get to the area often, but I will 100% be back asap to try more of the menu. Run- don't walk to pay a visit!
