I was more than happy to discover U-Store which is just a short drive away, nestled right off the 710 Fwy on Clara Avenue in Bell, CA. The prices are a little high, but I like this place. It's clean, safe, well-maintained with working cameras, and the staff provides EXCELLENT customer service! Eder took the time to explain the different options that are available (Eg. Unit sizes, prices, terms, and conditions). He was very kind and patient with me which I appreciated, since I had so many questions. (Haha!) Eder, Paulina, & Melecio will assist you with any inquiries that you may have. All three staff members are very nice, knowledgable, and helpful. I'm glad that I chose this place for temporary storage. Bonus: It's a good feeling to know that there's an employee on the premises during closed hours. I rented a space and they gave me the last storage all the way in the back . A few months into renting this storage they let us know that they had broken into it and we had to come see what they had taken. The people that broke in made a hole big enough for them to fit and mind you they broke concrete! to get in. I was in disbelief when I open the unit and noticed they took all of my stuff and my sons as well. I WAS SHOCKED and heartbroken I couldn't believe the employees had no idea what was going on. They took every single box even my family pictures among a lot of other valuables they wiped us clean. They only left the bed frames and my mattress because that didn't fit through the hole they had made and some kitchenware they couldn't get to. For what I seen these people probably stayed in there for a few days. I found a cat's skull and its lower jaw it was gross among other disgusting things. There was also a bucket with human feces in it. After we confronted the employees they laughed it off and one of them told me "this happens way more than you would think" as if it was supposed to make me feel better.In other words on their end it was completely normal to them and no big deal. I would NEVER recommend these storage units to anyone. This place needs to be renovated. They are not enough cameras to cover all areas properly, doors are uneven and slide latches to lock the doors are rusted. Please do your research before renting a storage unit.

This isn't the first time I've contacted them for extortion from their staff at this location so they must already be used to it and feel like I'm bothering them at this point. Avoid this place at all costs. Currently looking for another place where I don't have to pay 289 a month for a 10x12 storage unit.

Especially when they've made so much money off my family. Also, when I first called, it seemed like as long as I cleared out the unit by the end of September, I would be fine and not have to pay for October. So I rushed to get their form signed and notarized. And later to find out I wasted my time and money. I don't give bad reviews. You can see all my reviews are positive ones. They refused to provide video documentation from the security footage or provide me with any information as to what happened. One week later, I received an email saying, "Vehicles stored in your parking space are in violation of one or more of the stated terms and conditions of the Addendum to Rental Agreement for Parking Spaces that states: I agree to keep the vehicle in [...] "roadworthy" condition." I found this email to be an insult to injury. The area is not safe and the staff is completely unhelpful.

Not sure why any business would not take stealing from another customer serious especially when it comes to a storage unit. As any other storage unit customer we expect to have peace of mind and clarity when it comes to stealing and it being resolved in the appropriate manner. Stealing is unacceptable and has no place in this world. The part that really concerns me is they have video of the persons doing it and are not doing anything about it. What happened: I booked a storage unit to store items and I'll be honest it was a very smooth process applying and obtaining it. However it turned into a total mess the very first day I stored my items. I was placing items through an elevator and didn't fit a couple of things so I left it near the elevator. It's important to note my items were inside the premises and also had a camera facing them. Any person with common courtesy would kindly ask if the items were being thrown away or if I would still be needing them. However that wasn't the case when two persons took our items and were gone by the time we were back. I talked to the manager the next day (she was gone the day of) about it and she got back to me stating that they had footage of the persons who did it and were going to reach out to them to get our stuff back or have them pay for it. Days passed and all they said was the account holder was very sorry and couldn't believe what his brother had done. Management did not make the person accountable whatsoever.

Today the control panel to input the access code for the main building entrance, the only entrance to get into the storage, has clearly been tampered with. Not to mention the elevator is also almost always broken. There are homeless people walking in or around the building, it doesn't feel the a 'Secure Space' at all! There's always trash in the hallways, I see the front desk lady cleaning sometimes but she clearly needs help. Not to mentioned they continuously raise the rent price on the unit. I started paying around $50 (first month discount), to $99, now I'm paying almost $150 and it hasn't even been 6 months. Just don't come here.

They have changed the operating hours to make the difference up but they have also changed the operating hours to make sure they are out of bed and at their location by 8 am.
