Daisy, Paris and Ruby are amazing! They found a way to make my storing needs a reality and helped search for new customer discounts / first month discounts. I'd highly recommend this location in Southgate for the staff alone! read more

Highly Recommended !!! Nova Storage in SOUTH GATE delivers exactly what you want from a storage facility: efficiency, professionalism, and cleanliness. FRANCISCO went above and beyond for me. From start to finish, I was in and out in FIFTEEN minutes--no hassle, no wasted time. The facility is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and clearly run with pride and attention to detail. The location is easy to reach right off the 710 freeway, they're open seven days a week, and the entire experience was top-notch and professional. Address: 5951 Firestone Boulevard South Gate, California 90280 Phone: 562-928-4800 Email: SouthGate@NovaStorage.com If you're looking for a clean, well-run, and professionally managed storage facility, this is the place. The staff here is terrible. I've been having a storage here for almost 6 years and ever since Angie started working there she acts like she owns the place. Staff is constantly asking for CASH in order to not be penalized for stuff that isn't even against my contract. I've contacted corporate they don't care either. This isn't the first time I've contacted them for extortion from their staff at this location so they must already be used to it and feel like I'm bothering them at this point. Avoid this place at all costs. Currently looking for another place where I don't have to pay 289 a month for a 10x12 storage unit. read more

So excited to become your new favorite customer. I'm planning a life of travel just wanna pack my stuff up and go to all the vills ! Dollyvill Nashville Graceland and Noah's ark just the important stuff. Of course, everything in between ! If I do it right hopefully it'll take me two years . One never knows how long you're gonna keep your stuff in storage so make sure you put it in a really safe place with security, air-conditioning and friendly staff. Big flex about this place is that they let me borrow their truck to move my stuff in for a whole day !!! 25 miles free which is awesome because I'm moving locally. Karina was the best ! She gave me all the discounts that I can apply to ! She even discount is my friend Lisa F because she brought me here ! Saving money left and right!! #5Stars #TimeToMoveOn read more

I went to Lynwood first and referred me to the South Gate location and all around GREAT service, great deals, new clean location!

This storage facility is clean and Ana at the front desk was super friendly and helpful! Value for a larger unit is very competitive and affordable! read more

The blonde haired lady working at the front desk today (08/27/2025) around 2:50pm needs better customer service skills as she was incredibly rude. I just asked for prices and was met with so much hostility from her. Very unprofessional in the way she was talking to me and assuming I was comparing prices online when I was just texting my husband back (she voiced it out to me). Ruined my experience as I genuinely wanted to know more information on the different storage sizes offered. Never again:/ read more

I just rented 2 spaces from Nova Storage in South Gate. The customer agent that helped me (Jonathan) was the best agent I've dealt with in renting storage units. I've probably rented 10-12 units in the past 20 years. Jonathan was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was a class A rental experience. Jonathan and Nova are 100 times better than the place I'm currently renting from in Paramount. I'll start moving my business belongings to Nova ASAP. I highly recommend Nova and Jonathan. They have new storage units that make other storage facilities look ancient. read more

We have driven by this storage place for many years, and today we decided to check it out. We didn't think we were going to rent anything. We were "just looking." 2 friendly associates greeted us. After a few questions, Marlene took us for a tour and showed us the abatible units. Wow were impressed not only by the faculty but by Marlene's willingness to show us all the teams they had available in our price range. Anyone interested in renting extra unit spaces, come check out Nova Storage; they have competitive pricing and two different buildings to choose from, depending on your budget. They also have cool music playing thought the building. read more

I've had my storage here for my business for about a year now and the customer service is EXCELLENT. Jennifer & Andrea are always prompt, professional & helpful. I have 1 inside unit & 2 "garage" units. Hours are 8-6 weekdays and it's opened ON TIME. No waiting for someone to show up to get inside. Garage units are offered extended entry times, includes electricity and wall plugs. Storage units are cool even on a summer day, not hot and humid. Inside office has water, Bathrooms, and dollys to help you move. If there's ever an issue, come to the office and the girls will get it sorted immediately. Storage unit also has a dock on the side, for the front building. So if moving pallets, or large furniture you can park at dock for easy removing from trucks / vans. read more

We just got a 10 X 10 storage and the front desk ladies were totally amazing , explain us everything about prices and amenities, give us excellent promos and discounts excellent service 100% recommend quality and price read more

This review is based off the courteous staff, cleanliness and amenities more than the price. Today I was asked to help move and store some items. Paperwork and getting the truck took a little under 30 minutes. Getting in and out of storage area was quick and easy. Dual driveways in and out of location to prevent congestion, plenty of space to turn a truck around, and a clean interior environment. They should offer a cleaning service for the vehicles stored there, it would make the parking lot look more inviting. Although I was only helping with the labor and driving, and did not have anything to do with the actual payment, I was told the units were fairly priced. They have web rates and a 1$ first month special. A special perk for you locals, you get a free truck rental for up to 20 miles. Everything above was worthy of a 3 star, the extra 4th star came into play later when I realised I lost my tape measure. I called in and the representative seemed more than happy to search the truck for me, giving me a call back within 5 minutes. Thank you Jeanette. Pros -Good perks -Clean interior -Friendly staff Cons -Not informed about check-in yelp offer -Some stored vehicles looked in need of a good cleaning (I'd pay to have my beauty cleaned) read more
