I highly recommend this storage facility. The actual facility is very clean, secure, and convenient - large loading zone for trucks, spacious elevators, and multiple security measures. The staff is also helpful and easy to work with. read more

Charles is the man! Easy access great location and my belongings feel very security there.

In 2011 we stored a whole house full while renovating, moved most of it back a year later and kept a small locker for the next 11 years. After 12 years we finally closed out the small locker. Throughout, Charles, the manager, has been unfailingly helpful and a pleasure to work with. The facility is always clean, secure, well-lit and, as others have noted, it's easy to park in front. Charles runs a tight ship and is the reason for the consistently high ratings. read more

We used Security Public Storage for storing a bunch of our Company's equipments for quite few years now and has been a wonderful experience with both the facility and the staff especially Charles the site manager. The items we stored were as it was for the many years they were in there and hence what was expected was truly experienced. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for storage in the city. One last word about Charles as he was the one we interacted with and was always looking to help out in any way possible and that is something we truly appreciated. read more

Charles is the absolute best! He's spent so much time with both me and my bf in helping us get the right storage unit for our needs, allowing me to send him photos of my items to ensure they would fit, and then talking me through the organization of the unit to ensure everything fits. He is an absolute pleasure to speak with and work with and i highly recommend this place for all of your storage needs! Charles always remembers who i am when i call and is prompt and ready to help! enjoy! read more

It's not often I do reviews, but I felt like I just needed to acknowledge Charles and the staff at Security Public Storage. As expected theres numerous sizes of units to select from and they're all clean. What really stands out here is the staff. Charles is so willing to help, from keeping an eye on your car to providing a box cutter or a charge for your phone. He's just delightful and makes the experience of going to a storage unit all the more better. 5 stars for the facility, 5 stars for the staff. :) read more

Security Public Storage was super helpful. They were incredible accommodating and made our move so much easier. Thank you so much!

I needed a safe and local storage solution and this place helped me get set up right away! I met Joseph the first day I came to look at the location and he answered all of my questions very thoroughly. I told him about my plans to have movers bring my belongings to the storage and he gave me some helpful tips on how to make the day run smoothly. Sure enough, I followed his recommendations and on the day of my move I spoke with Charles, who helped me facilitate where to park and how to give my movers access. Five stars!! read more

Charles at the front desk was so helpful! I only needed a unit for 10 days and he prorated the rent for me! I really appreciate it and will certainly come back the next time I need storage. The facility is also clean and brightly lit - a nice change from the dark and scary places I've used in the past. read more

Charles is a great manager, and the storage units were clean and easy to access. I would recommend them!

Had an amazing amazing experience at Security Public Storage. The facility is clean, bright, and secure-feeling, but the staff are what makes SPS the best. I came by to check out some units and inquire about prices. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and helped us properly estimate the unit size I would need. She was super straightforward and didn't try to sell me a larger unit than I needed. On move in day, I was running behind schedule and ended up arriving just 15 minutes before close with a truck's worth of items to move in (super bad form, I know). Charles, the manager, couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. We didn't have movers, and Charles went above and beyond by helping us bring our items to the unit and figure out the best way to store them, which was helpful since I had a lot of stuff. Overall, super happy with the experience so far and confident my items are in good hands. Thank you again Charles for the exceptional service! read more

Facility was nice and clean, no evidence of mice/rats. Well lit, plenty of carts to move your stuff. Nice place.

Charles and SPS made it easy peesy to store my furniture during the pandemic. Thanks Charles!!

Charles was the best! The facility is nice, clean and secure! I felt really safe having my stuff stored here!

We are in the process of moving and needed storage for our stuff for time between moves. Charles was extremely helpful (and patient). He was able to find us the right combination of storage. Initially we wanted a larger unit but it was not available for two weeks. Charles worked with us to obtain one sufficient space during the interim until we were able to get the preferred unit when it became available. Charles is a professional who cares about the quality of the service Security Public Storage provides. For example, as I was trying to maneuver/park a box truck I rented - Charles, without being asked, came out and helped/guided me. So far my experience has been 5+ stars. read more

Left a few things here for four months. It seemed like everything was extremely secure and safe. The staff were always extremely friendly, helpful and courteous, even as I was consistently late with payments and not always polite myself. 100% recommend. Thank you Charles in particular. read more

I had a unit at Security Public Storage for the past year and honestly couldn't recommend it enough. It's clean, Charles at front desk is super helpful, and it's sooo convenient. Yes it might be a little more expensive on paper than units outside the city but honestly I think I saved a TON on Ubers and how easy it was to drop off and pick up things I needed. Move out was also really effortless and there were no hidden fees or charges. Highly recommended! read more

Good service from Charles! Secure spot and plenty of space in my unit. Easy location, highly recommend.

I recommend this facility to anyone who is looking. The staff is extremely helpful and personable. The storage is as clean as it could possibly be and it smells amazing, all the time. Hours are good. I work a 9-5 and was able to get there after work when I needed to, and in on the weekends as well. Finally, I felt completely safe there at all times. I know it sounds too good to be true but it really is TRUE. They answered my emails within 24 hours when I had questions and were always just very helpful and pleasant. Thank you for making my move to SF so much easier!!! read more

Super easy to use, parking out front, very clean and the staff is so friendly - Charles is the best!

I love this place! Charles is the best and is always super helpful and friendly! I very frequently have packages, large and small, delivered here. They sign for and keep all deliveries in a locked room so I don't ever worry about lost or stolen packages. The location is perfect for me as it it close to 101 and 80 freeway access. If you're looking for a nice, clean and convenient storage facility, this would be a great choice. read more

My friend was using this place a year ago and I helped her move out. Everything was clean and well-maintained and there were carts + multiple elevators for our use which made the process a lot smoother. I ended up choosing this place for myself this year because of those reasons, and everything has moved smoothly and the front desk has been very responsive + helpful. Definitely recommend this location! read more

Charles at Security Public Storage in Page St will take great care if you. He couldn't be more helpful. I was a first-time user of public storage and Charles answered all of my questions and even made sure I rented the correct size unit by facetiming with me. I highly recommend this business! read more

Everything went off without a hitch start to end - been using this storage for a couple years, and Charles & team have always been a pleasure to work with. Access is easy, the facility is clean and with great security, and even billing across countries and having to coordinate multiple moves taking things out, putting more things into storage, was seamless. I just didn't have to think about it - that's the highest praise possible I think. read more

I've been storing my stuff at Security Public storage for several years and it's mostly been a great experience. The owner is very friendly. The rest of the staff is generally good though they sometimes ask you to come back or call on a weekday if they don't know how to do something. The prices and hours are decent. There is parking on the street right in front reserved for storage customers and there's an empty lot across the street that I've parked in. They provide plenty of heavy duty carts. Only once has the elevator ever been broken down. The only problem I've ever had is dust. A few years ago they did construction and didn't properly section off the areas they were working on. I have an older unit with a section of wire mesh at the top of the walls so all my stuff got dusty. They tried to make good by offering cleaning services but I couldn't be present during the times they were available so I had to pass. Since then the floors in the hallways have been dusty enough to get your belongings dirty. I don't know if the newer units are constructed differently. read more

I had never stored my stuff in storage before, but after hearing and reading about other people's bad experiences with poorly managed storage facilities, I didnt want to sacrifice cleanliness and safety for a lower price. I went with Security Public Storage because of the great reviews and am so glad I did! It's super clean, safe & well-lit, and the customer service is outstanding! I needed to move my stuff out of my apartment, and I had scheduled my move for noon on Sunday. However, my movers had a job before me that took way longer than expected, and didn't get started on my move until 3pm. Security Public Storage closes at 4pm on Sundays, and by 3:30 pm, only half my stuff was in the truck. I told Charles about my situation, and he kept the facility open for another hour so I could finish my move!!! (Note: This does not mean y'all should try this stunt too!) That is seriously going above and beyond, and I'm so incredibly grateful. Fantastic customer service.. I highly recommend! read more

Here's a little story: One of my best friends moved out of the country years ago, and left some stuff here in SF. The key was passed down to me over the past year and since I'll be moving far away myself in the next week, I had to get moving on getting her stuff out of the storage unit and shipped to her home country. Working with Charles, the manager, was a joy. He was very pleasant and extremely helpful, going above and beyond the normal call of duty (helping me get into the unit when the door got stuck, helping me operate the freight elevator, saving a parking spot outside of the facilities while i loaded my car and being an overall AWESOME help with the large/heavy boxes I had to lift into my car). He didn't need to do any of that, but he did and with a smile no less. The items I bought from him were very reasonably priced and the facilities are clean and secure. There's double security access in the facilities, first a front door lock and your own bolt lock for the unit. There are carts for everyone's use and security cameras everywhere. I'm not sure how much my friend paid every month for her unit, but I'm sure it was well worth it. The facility is located in a central area between Castro/Hayes Valley and the Van Ness/Market merge. read more
