The non-profit organization that I work for has a space here. It is conveniently located just off of the freeway.. the grounds are ALWAYS clean and in good condition; the area is well lit and I guess [we] come during off-peak hours / the property is super-easy to navigate (not a lot of other users) - no traffic jams here. They have PLENTY of carts that you can use and they are very helpful / handy - a bit large for the elevators (the staff already knows this : hey what can you do)... the wheels work great and that is what counts. - Sarah saved our behinds one night: we were there to pick-up some items for a major event the next day and came after-hours (early on we assumed they were open 24 hours - wrong)... Sarah just happened to be driving-by and noticed our crew and generously let us onto the property! I used to love this place. I had a unit from 2016-2018. In 2020 I came back. There have been red flags almost every visit. The first is when Michelle, the manager, voiced her disapproval of me using a power receptacle. Ok, I get it. I complied. She doesn't like me enjoying music while I sift through my belongings for hours. The second red flag is when she felt the need to tell me I can't have friends accompany me into my unit and that I must be out before 7 pm. *If I want to ask my friends to help me carry stuff out of my unit, that's my business. Don't assume we are partying or hanging out. The third is when I came in on Sunday when she wasn't even working and as I am punching in my gate code, she has the nerve to poke her head out of her residence window above the office outside of office hours to tell me not to hangout out in my unit and I can be granted 10-15 minutes to get in, get my stuff, and get out. Yet units right upfront can stay in their units for hours and run a business from their machines and burn a plastic smell?! I only witnessed that once, but it made me feel like I was being profiled because these other patrons could do whatever they pleased while I was being harassed by Michelle or as I like to call her, "Karen". I'll see this objectively and withdrawal the race card as I am Hispanic/Latino. The Fourth issue was me coming in with a bag of food because I had a lot of work to do inside my unit. She told me no food is allowed because some other unit was causing a rat infestation to other units. Excuse me, I pick up after myself, fine, I'll eat in the car if you're going to treat me like I am some sick hoarder like this other unit she spoke of. The Fifth issue is when Contractors came to rip the floor up. These contractors should have had the experience to know that the dust they would cause would enter the units if there is no wall in the upper portion of the ceiling. Also, how did management not know this would happen, who did they hire? Both sets of people didn't think that dust would blanket the units and cause unnecessary toxic filth, damage, and potential hours worth of cleaning without compensation of any sort? My personal belongings were saturated in this toxic flooring dust. Michelle told me I could dust off my belongings and no real damage or compensation was necessary. Really!? Only when I showed management my ruined military Air Force Blue's uniform, was I told I could be reimbursed for the dry cleaning after I insisted that action was necessary. The Sixth issue was the light bulb tube that went out in my unit. She said it could take weeks to months for a replacement. I put in a work order about 2 months ago, and it is still dark and dusty in my unit. This is unacceptable. Why can't this company replace a simple 4' fluorescent bulb? I pay almost $300 a month! That's not right. The Seventh Issue was when I entered the unit on Jan 11, 2021, all I could hear was screaming "SHUT UP" over and over again from the upstairs apartment she resides in. I heard it outside and heard it more from my dark and dirty storage unit. It sounded like she was berating her child. Domestic Disputes aren't my business but the police were called. The cop showed up. No one answered the door, And then he left. What is going on? I used to rate this as a 5 Star location. Now it doesn't even deserve 1 Star. So in short, My unit is still filled with dust I have no light in my unit after asking for 2 months I cannot use the receptacle to power on a light I cannot play music I cannot bring in food I cannot be in my unit for more than 10-15 minutes I cannot have help or any friend over I am accused of "hanging out" I have to hear screaming and detailed language from my unit coming from inside her residence, above the office. I feel harassed. This woman is probably really nice most of the day, but she has consistently harassed me for petty things. Is there anything going to be done about the abuse of power this woman has and the hypocrisy going on? She is a control freak and freaks out if things aren't done exactly the way she wants them done?! That is not only unbearably annoying but dangerous. When I have time I will find a new storage unit, but I have more pressing matters, but this has been a long time coming and the truth needs to come out. read more

This location has really great customer service. I had decided to get a storage unit here, and made my first month's payment, but two weeks into the lease, I had not moved in yet and decided I didn't need the unit anymore. I emailed the location and told them I wouldn't be renewing after this month, and they refunded me for the unit without my even asking (and despite the fact that they'd kept it vacant for me for weeks)! Also, they're very responsive and prompt on both phone + email. If I needed a storage unit in the future I'd definitely work with these guys. read more

I've been storing here for years. I'm trying to move it all out and end my lease. I know this doesn't happen to everyone. I was an unlucky one. The roof drains flow through some of the storage units. And my unit happened to have a water leak because the drain clogged... guess what got ruined... my family photos!!!! When I told management and showed them my wet unit I was not impressed with their lack of empathy or interest. Those employees are long gone. They simply said I was responsible for insuring my property. They cleaned the drain. But, the least they could have done was offered me some compensation towards rent. Instead they spent a huge sum of time and money putting shiny metal sheeting on all the floors and walls. I will be happy when I move out. The poor photos got glued together and the emulsions stuck together. Even when you think you have dry storage- keep your most valuable items in water-tight bins. read more

My best experience yet with any storage company. I was calling around to find a spot near my new house, and this one stood out right away. I had spoken to Public Storage right after I called this place, and BOY was there a difference. Public Storage was definitely on the pushy side, trying to close me on the spot. Christy from Security Public Storage was extremely genuine, and told me she wanted to "earn" my business. She helped me out when I called back and never pressured me to do anything. That actually made me come in myself a couple days later to check out the facility and sign up! Staff has always been friendly and helpful. The location feels secure and I have no complaints. I was greeted in by Sarah. She is nice and professional. She introduced me and my partner to the facilities. We were very happy to begin with. We had nice conversation and she told us that we could switch the account after 3 months to get the move in special. She also reassure us that she's been here for a long long time and we could trust her. However, when 3 months half price went by. We come back for switching the account as she told us and found out that it was a lie. She have left the company. The other manager Michelle didn't honor what Sarah Said. Michelle's response is "well, there is a reason why Sarah has left." This to me is dishonesty. Hopefully, similar incidence would happen again. read more

For the most part the staff is great. They work with you to make sure you have the right size for your needs before you start loading stuff in. However, we have had a light out and they have not been able to fix it for several weeks. The light bulb itself was changed and it's still not working. Hopefully they will resolve that and I can bump them up a star. read more
