Martinez' Security Public Storage is a great place for your storage needs. Craig and Michelle are the on-site managers and they run a tidy and responsive operation. They are very attentive to your needs. I needed to upgrade numerous times to larger storage units and Craig and Michelle worked closely with me to get what I needed. When I was moving into my unit Craig came by and saw the delicate items I was going to be storing he took the initiative to install additional weather stripping to keep dirt and dust out of the unit. Now that's service. There may be less expensive places where you can store your things but I doubt you will find the level of service and security as you will find at the Martinez SPS! read more

Moved out to Pleasant Hill, from Phoenix, AZ. Needed a reputable place to store our stuff while waiting for our house to be ready. Originally went to the Walnut Creek facility due to all the great reviews. Unfortunately, they didn't have the large space we needed. They referred us to the Martinez location. Not only was the facility super large, spacious, clean and well secured, the staff were super helpful and friendly. was super efficient, and knew exactly what she was doing. Sarah was the best. She juggled three customer as once! Michelle and Craig Turner were super nice and very helpful in getting us checked out. Do yourself a favor and store your stuff here. You will not be disappointed. Their amenities aligned with my criteria perfectly: 24-hour video surveillance of the property; spotless grounds; professional managers who clearly take personal pride and ownership in their charge; validation of their claims of air-tight security directly by the Martinez Police Department; online account management; expansive access hours - seven days a week, from early morning to late evening; and competitive monthly pricing and persuasive move-in incentives. Security Public Storage in Martinez is a family owned and managed facility. Katherine was extremely helpful and followed up with me while I was in transition of a new job and new home. She offered suggestions when I was unsure since this was my first time renting a storage unit. Overall, the location is nice and safe, they have cameras that line the perimeter (which you can see when you're in the office). The only suggestion would be a touch-up to the office building but all things considered that's a small detail. read more

I really have to say that walking in today, I was greeted by the most warm and kind greeting. Craig and Michelle were so friendly and helpful, I really couldn't see myself going anywhere else. I was in a last minute bind and through Craig's listening ear, he found the perfect solution to my situation. He found just the right space, freshly painted and cleaned. The grounds and facilities were super secure and made me feel very safe to use their business. The price was on point, I was able to sign papers, buy a lock and poof, I have a safe and secure space to give me the peace of mind I need while they keep watch over my personal belongings. Gail & Paul were fantastic managers, and even though they have relocated from the Martinez area, the newly appointed managers, Michelle & Craig, have seamlessly filled the position with the same customer oriented, friendly, quality service that has become the trademark of this local storage facility. (And guess what?!? They have TWO guard cats to fill in for Sophia!) We finally bought a house so after nearly two years with Paul and Gail at Security Public Storage, we moved our "stuff" out but I just had to give them a final review for their superb customer service for the time we were with them. We've used more than half a dozen storage places from Hawaii to various areas of California and Security Public Storage is the best. We never worried about the safety of our valuables and Paul and Gail--the owners--were always so helpful and friendly. The prices were very reasonable and they were great about all of our transitions during our time with them. We started with a small unit, then we had to go to a larger unit, then add another small unit, etc. They are very good about keeping records and making it easy to add on or delete space. Great place. I absolutely love this place. First off the two working there are so sweet, caring and very helpful. I only needed a storage for about a month and a few days and they were more than accommodating. Second, this is the cleanest storage I have ever seen. The small closet I got was spotless as well as the hallway to it. Last but not least, the place is very secure. When you enter your code to get in the gates , it unlocks your special storage closet. This is nice because incase someone tries to break into my locker, an alarm will go off. Also, I got a really good price, no hidden fees or yearly contracts. I really love this place and the people made it especially welcoming. Warning stay away! Such a pity I can't give them negative stars. These people are conniving, and avaricious crooks. When I signed up they told me my rent would go down after 6 months. Instead It skyrocketed up. When I contacted them about it, they complained that it was too complex to discuss, and I would have to come in, on my time and discuss it with them face to face! We shopped around Martinez, Pacheco and Concord, and very wisely selected choosing Security Public Storage in Martinez for our 5'x10' unit. The management (especially David) were helpful every step of the way, including showing us the unit, explaining all the storage and contractual details, and offering us discounts. Since our biological and archaeological consulting business (Condor Country Consulting, Inc.) is based in Martinez and needs 1) storage space for all of our field supplies, and 2) to be open odd hours to accommodate our varying work hours, Security Public Storage in Martinez with its many unit sizes available, located right by the freeway, and open long hours, was a perfect fit. We just renewed our lease to continue storing here, and yes, the staff and the discounts continue to be much appreciated. read more
