Long line, difficult to get a straight answer out of the staff regarding unit availability and pricing. Waste of our time

Beware!!! They have new Management and the Customer Service is POOR!!! The associates on staff require LOTS of training including the new onsite Manager Dewayne! I so liked the old staff and the nice ladies face you see on the Glendora page is retired. DON"T trust your treasured belongings to this new group of untrained staff. I would love it if we can resolve our difference with a phone call and that is what I was trying to get to. I also would like to know what I said that was belligerent. Asking someone to help me to understand how you can call and say the payment was NSF when it was simply just returned by the bank because when your associate took the check they shouldn't give a receipt if the check is not paid to you. Thanks for the offer to reverse the $50 return check fee if I take down my Yelp review. But as I asked Dewayne I would like to speak to you personally about this. But the Dewayne said he really didn't care one way or another if I take down the review. read more

I'm selling my house and needed to store some extra furniture and such while showing the property. Security was running a special and seemed like as good a place as any. I rented a unit and provided a credit card, which I assumed would be billed for my monthly rental. Imagine my surprise when I went to the unit tonight to access my belongings and there was another lock on it. When I called the office they said that they had locked me out because I hadn't paid my bill. The attendant in the office proceeded to tell me that I owed one month of rent (understandable) and a $15 late fee (unacceptable, given the circumstances). I asked why they had locked my unit without calling or emailing me first. I was told they had called and left a message on 12/29, however I have no record of a statement, email, voicemail, missed call. I can only assume at this point that they hope people don't figure out that they're not being billed, so that the company can seize and auction off the units. I would suggest using the Uhaul storage on the east end of town instead. My sister rented a unit there for years and never had any issues. EDIT: emails found in my spam folder, but NO PHONE CALL WAS EVER RECEIVED! My phone and call records don't lie. read more

This is my first storage unit and I've had the best experience here. The storage space and yard is always Super Clean, management is always up-keeping the property, whether it is painting the units, cleaning the yard, gardening and tidying up the landscape. I had a friend come to the storage unit to help me with a couple things and they said, "This is the cleanest storage faculty I've ever seen!" Security Public Storage has been such a huge help for me as a college student. Upon needing a place to put by belongings quickly, I called the office and the staff could not have been more kind and helpful. They were very thorough and clear on terms and pricing and walked me through the steps of getting moved into a storage unit. This all happened in the same day as well. When arriving at the office the staff remembered my name just from the previous phone call and had dollies ready to go for my use. They set me up with all of the paperwork I needed to fill out, explained important parts of the agreement to me, and made sure that I had read through each part of the agreement so as to prevent any confusion or backhanded way of conducting business. This staff is honest, genuine, helpful, and kind to its renters and they take lots of pride in keeping a safe and clean environment for people to store their belongings. Find another storage place! This place doesn't care about its renters! I have been a long time customer and even referred friends who became customers. Last month I entered the wrong amount when I payed the bill on-line. I payed $145.00 instead of the $148.00 I was to pay for the month. Today when I went to get something from my unit they had put a lock on it so I could not access the unit. No notice telling me they were going to do that. To top it off the snotty nose teenager who was working in the office was rude. All for $3.00! Take your business elsewhere, I'm doing just that! read more

I came in for a U-haul and ended up storing my property in one of the units. The price for the truck is very fair, and the managers allowed me to keep it the whole day (I don't recommend it if there are other people waiting to use it after you). It was nice that they did me that favor and didn't charge me extra for the time. After finishing the rental paperwork, I inquired about the rental properties. The manager was very busy but still took the time to show me the storage unit and explained all features that every customer pays for and why it's worth it. No pressure at all, and he endured all of my questions were answered. It's a little pricey but completely worth it. I still have the unit today and have no issues, or plans to switch anytime soon. Tip: Be sure to make your payments exact and on time due to their lock out policy. read more
