I needed help moving from a space where I was renting a room in a shared house to my first one bedroom apartment on my own. Omar and Robert were great from start to finish. I got a text update when their ETA was and they got to work right away and worked very quickly. Even when we arrived at my new place they kept up the pace - and it wasn't easy since they had to go up a flight of stairs. They also credited me 30 minutes for a pit stop they made. However, I did not check the apartment I was vacating until after they left, and there were several boxes of material and individual items they had missed that I had to move myself. Had used them for a business move and they did a great job. This time used them for a personal move for 2 pick up locations then to the 3rd floor of our new apartment. They got there at the scheduled start time calling ahead to confirm eta. They work quick and don't drag time because they are paid by the hour. Guys did good work good crew just didn't like that they discouraged me not to use credit saying it's more expensive by 10 per hour and "should strongly pay with cash," sure you can give people choices that's fine but if I mentioned I'm okay paying with credit let's let it be. Also they forgot items at my place so now I have to go back to hire additional help at added cost to get these large items moved. After missing items they mentioned at the end of the move that they "normally we get 200 dollar tips "EACH," there was emphasis on that "each," part. That's great and all but a tip is for a good job you don't seed the close of a sale by telling the client what you expect then they're going to feel less inclined to even provide one. read more

First off, they deleted all of their bad reviews...that says something. I came looking for my review because the manager told me to call him and he would compensate me for the absolutely HORRENDOUS job this team did. Basically they were 2 1/2 hours late. One out of 3 guys was complaining and making snide comments THE WHOLE DAY: about how long everything was taking, about how I kept asking him for my key fob back, about how far the elevator was from our new place etc. All whilst he was basically twidling his thumbs and doing nothing. When it was time to pay, he was like "how'd we do today? We did great huh? We busted our asses for you today."....you're movers-were paying you to bust your ass and I guarantee you I busted my ass moving more than we did. Then when we decide not to tip them, he leaves in a literal huff and slams my door. + they overcharged us and blew our budget since we got stuck in bad traffic because of how late it was. Joe and Christian were the movers they sent and they were extremely efficient with the move! I was moving out from a house and had one bedroom worth of items. They got everything packed up in the truck in less than an hour and quickly unloaded everything as well. The only thing I would recommend some improvement on is being a little more careful with items labeled "fragile". I've got a couple boxes with that highlighted but I noticed that they were treating them like any other boxes and I ended up with a few broke picture frames from the move. read more

Had a large place to move. And the new place wasn't close. We had a LOT of stuff with 3 kids and these guys handled it all. Packaged stuff professionally and protected all of our belongings. I was very happy with Pro Movers and the A+ service they provided for my move. Nobody likes moving but these guys made it easy with pricing and the availability. Carlos was very helpful and provided such great customer service when moving all of my heavy furniture and fragile items. Not only did he do it in a very well timely fashion, he made sure to pack so well when loading and handled all of my property with great care when unloading into my new home. This company is very deceptive. They have you sign a contract upon arrival that is nothing that was discussed by sales. They say they don't charge for drive time once finished by they do and charge double time. They also used tape stuck to our nice furniture and even removed the stain when removed. Joe and Anthony also broke some of our furniture, such as out doing table and leather bed frame, and didn't tell us. We know something happens because they tried to force us or strongly insist we give 5 star ratings before the job even started. Then while packing they insisted they were great and to give 5 stars immediately. Once they stated driving they sent text messages to links to give them 5 stars. They were not even finished with the job. They do this to get you to say something good before you find out that your furniture is broken. At the end of the move they strongly suggested that they don't get paid by the company and that they suggest you give them $250 for each person there for their services. Then when they show you the bill it was $500 more than a move should cost. This was really a horrible experience. Beware of their last minute contract they have you sign. You can't read it and it is on their tiny phone. I would steer away from this company. We have moves few times and they are the worst. They even tore out leather bed and didn't say a word about it. read more
