Although it was a relatively small move, we could not be happier with West Coast Movers. The reservation process over the phone with Princess was easy. Communication prior to and including moving day was efficient and helpful. On moving day, the driver contacted us with an estimated arrival time and they showed up as promised. Jay and Armando were extremely efficient and quick while ensuring all of our furniture was protected before loading the items into the truck. I would not hesitate to recommend West Coast Movers and will definitely use them again if there is a need to move again. Pricing was competitive with other options we researched and everything was settled up before Jay and Armando left our new home. read more

Shout out to Adam, Gabriel, Astan, and Marat! I was dreading having to move my parents across LA county but the team at West Coast Movers were extremely helpful. They made the entire process seamless. Adam and team came in early. Handled 3 fridges, a giant desk, washer, dryer, 2 bedrooms, and a garage full of a lifetime of items without complaint. They were extremely careful not to damage anything while moving at a rapid pace. Without them the process would have taken a full month rather than a single day. If you are ever in need of quality movers they are the team to call. read more

They were very kind to reimburse us for broken items and follow up to make sure we were satisfied.

Booked my second service with this company and it was questionable from the start. I called the number listed and was connected with someone. I told this person that their company helped us moved everything into a U-Haul while we replaced our floor and now we need everything moved back in. She quoted me more $245/hr with a $10/hr discount which was more expensive than the first job and not what I had been previously been quoted. I informed her that I was previously quoted $215/hour for this second move and she did adjust the price. Everything seemed in order, gave my card information for the deposit, and then ended the call. However, the payment receipt came in from Rocket Moving which was very confusing for me since this wasn't the company I called and had worked with. I sent an email to the original rep I booked with but assumed I wouldn't hear back given the holiday so I called back to confirm what was happening. This time, instead of answering the call, the new rep called me from a different number and wanted to know why I was calling -- it was really weird. She confirmed that they were a sister company to West Coast Movers. I eventually did hear back from someone at West Coast Movers and they confirmed that Rocket Moving is an affiliate company. I felt a little more at ease and requested that the same crew that moved us out be scheduled to move us in -- this crew was familiar with our layout and rooms so it just made sense. They said they would add this to our request. A few days pass and the new rep called me back to ask what was being moved. This was all information that I had previously provided her and really made me question why I booked this company. It's clear that there appears to be no system communication between the 2 companies or process. I feel like they should easily been able to look at my last move and get all the information they needed. The crew that came today was not the same crew. They tell me that before they can get started, I need to sign some documents to which I tell them I already signed all the estimate documents. I was told these were different and instead of letting me read this new document, I'm presented with a signature screen. I let him know I need to read what I'm signing first so he exits the signature screen and the "new document" is literally the same estimate document that I already signed. I sign it again and they begin. This new crew know nothing about how the U-Haul was packed and what rooms everything needed to go into. What was supposed to be an easy move-in started to became super stressful as the original crew DIDN'T label any of the boxes. The new crew is quickly bringing things in while I'm opening boxes trying to figure out where everything goes. This was just such a different experience from our move out. They then start brining our appliances in and inform me that they cannot reconnect anything that was disconnected. That I should have been told this when they disconnected everything but I wasn't and it wasn't in any of the documents I signed. This is arguably the most important part of the move. This entire time my partner is on the phone with either West Coast Movers or Rocket Moving -- honestly who knows at this point. The owner is telling us that if the move goes over 3 hours, they won't charge us any extra. All you're doing is emptying a U-Haul, it shouldn't take more than 2 hours max and your minimum work is for 3 hours -- you're not really trying to find a resolution for us. We only agreed to $215/hour for 3 hours because we were expecting the same, breezy experience as last time but that is not what we got. Essentially, they might be good on your first move but don't schedule them again if you need the house moved back in because they will have no idea where things go and nothing is labeled. It would have just been easier if we moved everything back in ourselves which...is actually what we are going to have to do at this point. read more

I've used this company 3 times now since 2021, with the third time being last week with Nate and Astin. Before using them, I had hired other companies and a couple of them were terrible and others not great, but West Coast Movers has been amazing each. They are professional, polite, careful, and amazingly hardworking. Can not recommend them enough. read more

I would not recommend anyone use this company. They have no insurance and are not bonded. The company showed up 1-1/2 later than scheduled emptied the truck of all the boxes and baking materials in my driveway in the rain, Left their tools in my driveway and told me they would "be right back" never returned to even start the packing for the move Charged my credit card 13 times for unauthorized charges. Deleted the contract I e-signed and canceled the job, however still charged my credit card 13 times. Contacted Arthur CEO of company who stated he would have someone call me back. Their items left are still in my driveway. This company is a scam. Lawsuit is being prepared. read more

I've now used this company twice and both times it was great! This review is for my most recent office move. Starting from the scheduling of the move, it was made easy and the process was fast. The move itself was all done within the 3 hr minimum requirement. David and his crew from Rocket Moving (the sister company) were friendly and very focused. Even when there were some complications on my end, they adjusted quickly! I would highly recommend them. Ask for David!! His leadership really made the move happen for us. read more

The Heavy-Lifting Comedians of LA Ever seen a stand-up act where the comedian is carrying your couch? Neither had I until I encountered the Herculean jesters at West Coast Movers Co. These folks combine the finesse of a ballerina with the strength of a linebacker, and they've been turning moving stress into an art form since 2009. Step aside, Hollywood--there's a new show in town, and it's called "Packing Tape and Punchlines". These movers don't just shift your stuff; they shimmy it to its new home with a cha-cha and a chuckle. With over a decade of experience, they've mastered the craft of wrapping your china and your ribs--in laughter, that is. The team? Trained, experienced, and more polished than my grandmother's silverware. They're like the ninja warriors of moving, if ninjas wore denim and dolled out high-fives with each box delivered. They'll disassemble your bed frame faster than a magician's trick, and reassemble it with a flourish that'll have you wondering if you should tip them or give them a Vegas residency. And the convenience? Same day service means they're there quicker than you can say "Where'd I pack the remote?" Fully licensed and insured, they've got paperwork so in order it makes accountants weep with joy. They handle everything from Hollywood to Thousand Oaks with the ease of a celebrity waving to paparazzi. Whether you're nestled in Sherman Oaks or lounging in Beverly Hills, West Coast Movers Co. is ready to whisk your belongings across town with the kind of showmanship that deserves a standing ovation. Very nice men, reliable, fair. Would use again. Did a move about 20 mi in LA County were on time with right equipment.

West Coast Movers are the In N Out of movers.. a well oiled machine. David and Abele were quick, efficient, and handled my items with care. Plus the manners on these boys? Their mothers must be proud. I started my moving process with Yelp's Request a Quote. A number of companies responded to my request for a move, but I ended up going with WCM because of their reasonable price and solid Yelp rating. They offered their services of two movers for $99 an hour, x2 for driving distance (CA law). Once we agreed upon cost, they sent over a detailed email to confirm the requested date. David and Abele arrived on time, and quickly had their 24 ft box truck stacked with all my belongings. I was under the misconception that movers would milk my time for an additional dollar, but instead they had my entire apartment completed in under two hours. Once we arrived to the new location, which was inconveniently located at the top of multiple flights of stairs, the boys brushed through it without a single complaint. They even got creative and lifted my couch over the balcony since it was too large for the stairwell! Props to David and Abele for making moving up 3/4 flights of stairs look breezy. read more

I had a very pleasant experience with my movers this week, and I couldn't be more grateful for how smoothly it went. I really was dreading moving, but our movers, Agustin and Eliseo, made it pretty painless. They were efficient and seemed knowledgeable about maneuvering some of my big furniture. They were also very communicative with me and my boyfriend throughout the whole process and were very personable. I especially appreciated that they kept their masks on the whole time when COVID is still such a concern. For any future moving I would definitely consider West Coast Movers Co again. read more

We've moved several times over the years, and no other company has come close to matching the quality of service we received from West Coast Movers. The team arrived on time, assessed the scene and gave us clear direction on the time required to complete the job. Every one of the four workers was friendly and helpful. Our furniture and other items were moved carefully, professionally and without any damages. We hope that this was our last move for a long, long time to come, but if we do decide to change locations, we won't hesitate to call West Coast Movers. read more

I've moved a few times over the years and have always had issues- moving trucks breaking down, boxes upon boxes left, missed move times, etc etc. Sabrina was responsive and booked me very quickly. I was given an arrival of 2p-5p, and Ryan, one of the movers, texted me around 1pm to let me know he'd be there by 2pm. He and Kam showed up right on time, were very friendly and moved everything extremely quickly! They wrapped all of my furniture carefully and made sure everything was safe and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Ryan and Kam. They made this move so easy and painless. 5+++++ stars! Thank you both! read more

The moving team was great!! They moved us and helped us pack our POD, with no room to spare (they must be champs at Jenga or Tetris!). I was shocked how well they stacked the items, furniture, etc. We were their SECOND move for the day (with temps in the low 90s!), and they worked their a**es off with no complaints (AND we didn't finish until 10pm!). I am so impressed with their work ethic and desire to do a GREAT job! The guys are awesome and they definitely deserve a bonus! Thank you! read more

Had a great experience with Erbol and Kanat helping us move. They were so quick and efficient and had everything under control while we packed up last minute things. On the other end they were so quick to set things back up and in the right rooms so no need for us to back and try to find where boxes were. Even asked us to be sure things were put in the right spot if they weren't sure. Also we're patient while we tried to figure out living room placement and moved things around a couple of times for us. Was 100% worth having them to help us and made a usually very stressful task so much less so. Would highly recommend! read more

This 5-star review is only for the 2 movers themselves, not the company. Adam and Gabriel showed up several hours late, but this was not their fault at all. They were clearly overbooked by the company, which had over-promised on scheduling. Still, Adam and Gabriel were champs, lifting, assembling, and keeping a positive attitude, even though they were tired from a very long day. I was very impressed. Now, West Coast Movers as a company I would maybe not recommend. I gave them as much information as possible to get the right number of people for enough hours, and they said 2 people were enough, even though I felt very skeptical of this. I think they wanted to show off that they had the lowest quoted price, even though the actual move took double what they had said it would. Lesson learned. Whatever Adam and Gabriel are getting paid, it's not enough. read more

Emmanuel and his Crew did a great Job! Damian, Jesus, and Ricky. Quick and efficient! Which is what we all want in the case of moving right? They showed up on time, did a great job of wrapping the large furniture items and got everything into the new home. My movers were very nice and accommodating with anything I requested and even offered to help rearrange any big furniture before they left, after I paid and they stopped the clock. The team showed up on time, almost nothing was packed and diligently got to work. I tried to help, but they were much faster- offering to help when I was struggling. Everything left and arrived with no damage- Ryan and team went the extra mile including running around the block when a door was left open, and personally dropping off a broom when it was inadvertently left in the truck. Have moved many times and our crew yesterday was probably our least favorite. We had 3 hr minimum and they did it all as fast as they could and tried to leave at 2 hours flat, when there was still plenty for them to help with. It was very clear that they go in with that game plan - get done as early as possible to get to their next job early. Normally this would be fine but since we had a bunch of leftover things to be moved to our back alley, into a car etc, it was very frustrating. If you are forced to pay for 3 hours they should expect to be there for 3 hours and can leave at 3 hours on the dot. Not earlier. I gave 2 stars still because it seems that west coast movers is a middle man that assigns you to small moving businesses, and their customer service was great, the move was booked really easily etc. It was the actual moving crew that was bad Update: Management contacted me and refunded an hour of our time that we had paid read more

I have chosen not to hire this company and so should you. They initially quote a flat rate and offer an option of an hourly, if preferred. They try to get you to commit to the "quoted rate". Upon further questions, each time I asked something there were additional charges. First is was that the flat rate is only for mileage and doesn't include load or unload. Then they add a minimum load and unload time to charge. I stopped inquiring because to me, ethics and honestly matter. Be very careful with these people. They are clearly unethical and dishonest. read more

West Coast was awesome! They are very professional, efficient, honest and extremely careful. They moved us from BevHills to Tehachapi and beat all our best timing expectations. Rafael and Vadim are two of the hardest working guys in probably all of California. Movers showed up and complained that I had too many things and said that it would take 8 hours. Mind you, I have an average amount of things but the guy made it seem like I was out of my mind. I told the representative who set up the reservation everything they needed to know beforehand: # of bedrooms, square footage, types and number of furniture, etc. Not to mention, I had everything boxed up and I was also going to leave behind my mattress and sofa. Nothing made sense but I ended up agreeing to 3 movers and postponed to next day because I didn't want this shady guy moving my things but of course had to pay more to my old complex for staying an additional day. Everything seemed shady and wrong, the mover was just a whiny shady guy trying to upsell me. Whatever, I want to move on. Next day, group of guys were much better and of course they let me know that the previous mover was tripping because I had an average amount of things for a 1 bedroom place. Even so, I can't give more than 2 stars because they were noticeably dragging their feet. Really friendly but took their sweet time going back and forth. For instance, there was one time where 2 of the 3 guys were outside for over 30 minutes. I was clocking them while I was cleaning things up. There's no reason why they should be outside for over 30 minutes. Ended up taking 5 hours for a move that should have taken less than 4 for 3 people. All in all, I would rather pay more per hour for more reliable and efficient movers. Go with a company that has more reviews because Yelp is clearly gaming the system for this company because I see other complaints and yet they still have 5 stars. Don't fall for it. read more

Due to some things falling through, we needed to scramble to find movers for my mother in-law one week in advance and thankfully West Coast Movers was able to fit us in. In addition, they have great pricing compared to other companies; especially for weekday moves. It was a very simple move, about a mile away, and only furniture. They have. a 3 hour minimum and were able to do it in 2 hours. Wish there was some account for VERY local moves so that it would have been a little cheaper but they did do a good job. Nothing fancy, they got the job done with no damage as far as we can tell (move was today). read more
