DO NOT SIGN UP ONLINE! THEY'RE GIVING THE ILLUSION OF…read moreCONVENIENCE, BUT PADLOCK ALL THEIR VACANT UNITS THAT THEY ASSIGN ONLINE WITH A FACILITY PADLOCK THAT REQUIRES AN ON SITE EMPLOYEE TO REMOVE ANYWAY!!! If you rent a unit online, you do not have IMMEDIATE ACCESS as SecurCare Self Storage claims. In my case, I rented online (w/ 3 HOURS access time left before closing at 10pm), got an email stating "You can access your space immediately using the unit number and gate code listed above" (see photo). Confirmed new customer at about 6:48pm. Showed up to the facility around 7pm. My gate code FAILED to open the gate. No onsite employee to help. Took me an hour and 2 phone calls just to get inside the gate. THEN, I went to my assigned unit and it was FACILITY PADLOCKED! Made a 3rd call and they offer two more vacant units WHICH WERE ALSO FACILITY PADLOCKED. IT SEEMS TO BE THEIR REGULAR PROCEDURE TO LOCK AVAILABLE UNITS BUT CLAIM IMMEDIATE ACCESS; A PROCEDURE THAT THEY DO NOT DISCLOSE. I'm losing 2 days that I paid for because they failed to state my unit will be locked until someone can open it Friday. Can you imagine coming into town with a full U-haul under the terms that you will be given "immediate access" only to be told you have to wait 2 days because there's no one onsite to remove their padlock! Daily U-haul fees accruing because of their dishonesty. Verbally, they also use the word "RESERVED", but I began RENTING the unit when I signed the lease, which they also use RENTAL in writing. My time started ticking WEDNESDAY and now I have to wait until FRIDAY for an ONSITE employee because tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Can't believe they haven't been called out for this before. IMMEDIATE ACCESS? Lies. Btw, this number 909-217-7850 is hard to navigate to a human. I know, because I had to call them 4x in my first 2 hrs as a new customer. REGRET is an understatement.

Worst place ever!!! You can't call them! You go in circles with automated phone calls and they…read moreraise the rent every 8 months without sending you an email or notice. Bullshit place! I also found rat droppings in my storage unit. Picking up my Rv today and found a better place cleaner and safer ! Also the kids throw rocks over the fence from the wash and damage you Rv. The guy at the counter says they are not responsible! WTF!!! If you like to be treated like a number or milked dry for you money then you'll love this place. Taking this to better business bureau.

This facility is absolutely infested with rats. We kept our belongings here and when we came to…read morepick them up it was immediately clear the building is overrun. There were rat traps set up outside the building, so there is no way CubeSmart was unaware. As soon as we walked in we saw critters running across the floor. On top of that, when you first pull up to the property you can see people living in the first storage unit on the left -- with personal items and activity clearly showing someone is occupying a storage unit as a residence. That alone shows how poorly this place is managed. There had also been a prior break-in to our unit. CubeSmart did inform us of that and claimed they had "put everything back." That was not true -- when we opened the unit, items were still thrown everywhere from the break-in. Then it got even worse. When we lifted one drawer, a dozen rats shot out and ran in every direction. They had chewed through boxes, tubs and furniture. The entire unit was soaked in urine and covered in droppings. It was a biohazard. We could literally hear rats scurrying in the walls and other units. I have never seen that many rats at once in my life. Our lock had been changed and the old lock was left inside -- meaning CubeSmart went into the unit multiple times after the break-in and still never informed us that our belongings were being destroyed by an infestation. Meanwhile, we kept paying for a unit full of ruined items. We drove from Las Vegas to California only to find out we couldn't take a single thing. We lost irreplaceable photos, sentimental belongings, and personal memories -- all destroyed. Standing there looking at everything in filth and pieces was absolutely heartbreaking. That building should be inspected by the health department and condemned. If you care about your belongings -- or even basic sanitation -- stay far away from this place. The last photo is what it looked like when we packed the unit.

I went to the office Monday morning to get credited for those two days. When he printed out the paperwork it came in my mother in laws name. I put my name and auto-filled the address not thinking it would change the name. The guy said she would have to come down to make any changes or additions. That was completely unacceptable, she's 80+ years old. We decided just to cancel the whole thing since I happened to have enough to pay cash for it we signed up in our name. Now we're good to go. The hours were great. Access til 10pm everyday. That is one reason we chose this place. A couple weeks go by and we get a call saying we have been broken into. My husband goes to see the damage. Instead of the keyless entry to our building now there is a deadbolt and a sign to go see manager so he can let him in. As Jonathon was opening the outer door he said "Oh I put your suitcase back in your unit. I found it outside the door to the building." We didn't think that much about it until later that night. How in the heck did he know that was our suitcase? There were 5 units hit. I can't think of a possible/ logical answer to that question. Maybe because there isn't one.!! A few days later a couple more were hit. We started driving through, hoping to catch somebody. It appears to be all the homeless people that live on the hills behind the place. WOW!!! I WROTE THIS WHEN WE FIRST RENTED THIS UNIT MAY 7, 2023 APPARENTLY I DID NOT SUBMIT THIS REVIEW. IT IS NOW SEPT. 30, 2024. I HAVE TO START A NEW REVIEW FOR THE LAST YEAR & A HALF.
