They have 10 mile an hour speed limit in the complex with speed bumps, I understand that. During my 2nd visit, I was sent an email that said I violated the speed limit. And without warning they immediately limited my access to the facility. I guess as punishment, I was threatened with more restrictions or penalties for future violations. Access for non speeding drivers is 0600-2200, my access was restricted to 0900-1800 that's the office hours. The email stated they needed to monitor me more closely for future violations, that's why my access was restricted, I actually thought it was a joke! When I went in to inquire about the email, while speaking to the female attendant, a male probably a janitor or maintenance man kept interrupting. It was hard to get any answers due to his interruptions. I was eventually told I was driving 25mph, and my speed was measured by timing the distance between speed bumps and video? Hard to say how reliable this was, I'm guessing not reliable at all, let alone accurate . I'm not sure how fast I was driving but driving 25mph over speed bumps could damage your car. After reading the email I decided this is not where I want to store my possessions, especially with this egotistical maintenance worker. With restrictions, penalties, nosey maintenance workers, and no warnings! (Even COPS give warnings!) This man was abrasive, nosy, and definitely wanted me to know he was in charge, he tried to intimidate me with his lack of knowledge, I wasn't intimidated, he was a joke! Bottom line, there's a new storage facility just north on Wabash, much friendlier employees and as it turned out I got a better deal. Good Luck! read more

The Ladies who work here are super friendly and helpful, The facility is very clean, Has good security and I like that it is open until 10pm unlike my previous one which was closed at 6. I used Stor-N-Lock to house items in climate controlled storage for my mother after she downsized from a house to a retirement community for 7 years. The contents included paintings and fine furniture hence the need for climate control, which is more expensive and harder to find. The facility is kept in very good shape and is provides good access for both internal and external access spaces. The one negative - the onsite manager, has now been resolved with a fantastic new manager, who is helpful and courteous. Their greater Redlands location and offerings make them a good choice for anyone needing to store climate controlled items. read more

The reason for the unit was for the unexpected loss of my brother. We chose STOR-N-LOCK because it was close to our home. Our experience was not pleasant from the beginning. We rented a large unit to store his truck and belongings until we were able to process the loss. I had all the court documents showing I was the Administrator of his Estate. Pam would not allow the vehicle without having the registration/insurance in our name. She treated us as if we were criminals. Although the facility is clean and close to home I will not return nor recommend it. Pam lacks sympathy and understanding during such a tragic time in our life. I never returned after the initial set up. My husband handled everything because she was so rude. I am thankful to be out of there after 10 months. read more

So I understand fully of my obligations to utilize this place of business. This husband and wife combo does not mix well with the poor customer service they provide. The women Pam was very aggressive on the telephone to have Del tell me about my items that will be going to auction. I know I'm in the wrong for being unable to make my payment on time. Is that really their business, my life events, that has caused my tardiness of payment. No. It's not. I called in on the 1st and was told by Del I needed to go into the office to pay with cash only. So besides the previous month and being 2 days late I had to pay over $500 okay its paid. If it wasn't for the awful and I mean awful experience, I may would have been able to keep my unit. It's so upsetting and a convince that the extra fee was put on by "THEM". Who is them? Corporate? I'll make they and the better business bureau Learn about what kind of messed up people they have running this place! Never go here! Rude people. read more

I was looking for a storage in Redlands and went to another storage facility down the street simply because it was the first one I saw. I waited inside for 20 mins. No one came to assist. There was a big screen so I clicked a few buttons and suddenly I was speaking to a virtual representative in CHINA. I wasn't sure what she was saying but I understood she was calling the facilitator on site to meet me. I waited another 30 mins and nothing. I got in car and drove 1 min down the street to STOR-N-LOCK. I walked in and was welcomed in with a warm greeting asking how she could help. I told her what I was looking for, she explained everything so well and 5 mins later we were walking to see the storage unit. She was very helpful and guided me the entire way since I'm not familiar with these things. I settled on a until and signed the agreement, got everything i needed and fully understood the process and was out the door in less than 30 mins! I'm glad the other place was such a hassle or I wouldn't have came to this facility. Thank you Teara for your kindness and patience and for how helpful you were. I was really overwhelmed with the task of getting a unit and with the other place having me communicate with an outside representative i was extremely overstimulated and had little hope. My husband and I had a storage unit here for around 2 years. Over all the experience was fine, our unit never got broken into, it was clean, etc. One of the things that bothered me was they continued to up the price throughout the months. When we finally closed out our until I brought a broom to sweep the dust out of the storage space. For context, I had a small unit that was kept clean. I swept the dust onto the drive path because like I said it was hardly anything. They tried to charge for a cleaning fee which they did wave after I explained the situation but I still ended up getting charged because I didn't give them enough notice for closing our until. I'm good with whatever policy/fees they have, but just let me know before hand. read more

This place has the rudest woman ever working there. They truly don't want business because if you are one day late in your rent they threaten to sell your stuff. My daughter had a unit there and I tried to pay her bill and they told me I wasn't allowed to. Who turns down $$?? Seriously?? The women in the office never smiles and is so extremely rude. I don't understand why such rude abrasive people are running your business. I have experienced the rudeness numerous times. My last visit I decided to be as friendly as possible. It didn't work. They have a sign on the door that says no more than two customers at a time. The sign should say zero customers as all of my communication in past months has to be through a fence. I used the facility once. When going to empty the unit, the Stor-n-lock office was not open due to the pandemic. I was waiting in the parking lot with another customer who called the office. A customer service person came out and helped the other customer but never came back out to help me. She must have assumed we were together, although there were two cars in the lot. Would suggest in the future that the customer service person asked to make sure, which is why they are getting a rating of 4 rather than 5. She arrived promptly to inspect the unit when called. read more

This is hands down the very best storage center I have been to. After searching and visiting 6 different facilities...we went with stor n lock Redlands because not only was the facility extremely clean but the staff was overwhelmingly friendly to myself and my 2 children. I am more than pleased with the service. They saw us moving in-and-out and brought us waters to keep us hydrated which we appreciated so much. I came to empty my second storage unit after renting "air conditioned" units for almost two years. The manager was literally yelling at my movers for parking just inside the gate before I arrived there. After we enter the storage facility it was obvious that the air-conditioning had not been running for quite a while. I went to the office to ask them about it and then they were curt and dismissive. This is some of the most unprofessional behavior I've encountered any business, I would certainly never recommend them to anyone. read more

The manager there is a rudest person I've ever seen. Very disrespectful to the customers. The facility is OK but the manager definitely doesn't belong there. The Store n Lock corporation is hiding their phone number because they are afraid of being called by many unhappy customers. This fact is a big red flag when it comes to decide wether to rent a space there. If the problem arises you will be left to deal with (mostly uneducated, rude) Managers at the storage facilities. My reply to the comment down below by Matt: Mr Matt, How you can speed trough the facility where you have speed bumps every 10 yards. Also there was nobody inside the facility when I was there. Actually I've never seen a single customer there for long time. Most likely because your storage is half empty. There are ton of places in Redlands where you can have same size storage for half money. I was paying $172 a month while the same size storage at the Public storage at 1781 Industrial Park Ave in Redlands costs $110. read more

I've had only good experiences at this place. The managers are friendly and helpful. I've rented 3 units from them over the past few years and everything is just straight forward without any problems. They even offered to let us come in after hours one time to unload a truck but we didn't need to take them up on the offer, but that shows how they were willing to work with us when they really didn't have to. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. I showed up with a huge truck full of boxes on a Saturday afternoon an hour before closing time. The lady behind the desk got me checked in quickly and the gentleman showed me to my storage unit, helped me back my truck in, and even offered to stay late if I couldn't finish unloading before the gates locked. Pam always escorts him to his unit and keeps an eye on him as he is older and sometimes needs help and i live out of town and cant help him, but Pam always makes him feel secure .
