In hog heaven from the breakfast biscuits
    Kenny H.

Has to be the best breakfast in seaview. The service is top notch just as the day they opened. Simple to the point cafe coffee shop with dynamite gravy. Thank you for another amazing brunch on the way out of town.

Tell them LARGE MARGE sent you!

The in-house, freshly made biscuits are fantastic! Add butter and MARIONBERRY jam and you just might start dancing a jig! I ordered half a dozen, so we could be SURE to have them every morning we were in the area. They DO sell out! But that's not all. . . onward to the Rosemary Chicken, a MUST order! Such a crunchy/crispy batter with moist, herby meat. Deliciousness! :D They are popular for good reason. They get slammed with 'to-go' orders AND they have short operating hours. They had already sold OUT of their biscuits the first time we went in. Cry me a river. Did that stop us? Nay-nay, we WERE BACK on their doorstep the next day! We HAD to try it! You do too!

It was raining hard upon arrival at the Seaview Biscuit Company on 6/20/25. No worries though, because the dining experience from start to end was a ray of sunshine. We were greeted upon arrival and the counterperson was patient while we briefly pondered the menu items. The Homie without hesitation ordered the Rosemary Fried Chicken breakfast platter and a 12oz mocha. I went with the In Hog Heaven breakfast sandwich. Pro tips: study their menu beforehand to not hold up the queue during peak time. Also, one can order ahead for takeout. There's ample indoor seating, but can fill up. When it's not raining, there's bright outdoor seating too. Menu items are available a la carte or featured as breakfast biscuit sandwiches, breakfast biscuit entrees, brunch biscuit entrees, plus there's a refrigerated section with yogurt, granola parfaits plus cold cereals stored above. The Homie's breakfast platter had a substantial rosemary fried chicken cutlet, breakfast potatoes, fluffy scrambled eggs, and biscuit with sausage gravy. He was very pleased with this. He even returned with a friend on 6/21/25 and ordered it again! Also, the breakfast potatoes can be substituted with fresh fruit or sauteed vegies. The mocha was made with Columbia River Coffee Roaster beans, a bit sweet, but he was able to cut it with additional milk. The In Hog Heaven breakfast sandwich looked rich, but surprisingly it was just right and not a brick. The buttermilk biscuit was fresh and had a nice crumb. The herbed sausage patty was delicious with a bit of kick. Fluffy scrambled eggs topped with melty Tillamook cheddar cheese. Fantastic! If you are visiting the Long Beach Peninsula, this is a must stop. Everything was on point. Just note they are open daily 7am-1pm, except closed on Wednesdays.

    Sideways simple with onion gravy.

Friendly staff. Hard working small crew. Pretty impressed with their work ethic. Nice selection of breakfast fare, and usual nice selection of coffees. Gets pretty busy, so be willing to wait to order and wait for your food to come out. Onion Gravy is a must. Try it! Worth it! Sausage gravy is just not as exciting. Limited seating (maybe 30 seats) so large groups should hope they are lucky. Will be back.

    Biscuits and gravy with potatoes

Ordered online to pick up for lunch and it was ready in less than 10 minutes, it was the fastest service I've experienced. The gravy was super good and tastes homemade, I added potatoes on the side that were seasoned adequately! I definitely see myself coming here again and ordering something new. Lots of seating inside and cute decoration. If you're feeling biscuits and would like a savory breakfast/brunch meal, I'd recommend coming here.

So glad we stop by for breakfast during our stay. We ordered a *white mocha breve- deliciously sweet and creamy with a strong hit of caffeine, best one we've had in town *biscuits and gravy with potatoes- Peppery rich gravy with super duper fluffy biscuits. My boyfriend finished the whole plate *rosemary chicken plate comes with eggs, a side (I chose potatoes) and biscuits and gravy. Amazing value and the flavors blew me away. The chicken is deep fried and nicely seasoned. It was juicy piece of chicken with an outstanding crunch. It was so good, we were fork wrestling for the last bite lol. Cashier was the sweetest and very welcoming. She's the one who made the coffee and props to her! Restaurant was clean and there's a restroom. Has a small parking lot and heard it can get pretty busy during the summer.

We stayed in the area for 5 days and went here twice. We should've went here 4 times. First time here we ordered a ham biscuit and bacon biscuit sandwiches with a side of gravy. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. Second time there we went all out and ordered a bacon plate and a rosemary fried chicken plate. These plates came with biscuits and gravy, eggs, and potatoes. It was all perfect. The gravy steals the show because it's so well seasoned and isn't gloopy and doesn't have a flour taste like at other places that try to do a biscuit and gravy. The eggs were super fluffy - I bet they give us 3 eggs each. Potatoes were flavorful. Biscuits taste every bit of homemade scratch. Fried chicken was crispy and went well with everything. Portions were large and provided us with breakfast and lunch. Such a great value. Might be THE best value in the area for any type of food. Comfortable spot with very nice staff. I regret not going more often. You won't be disappointed.

Hog Heaven Biscuit & White Chocolate Hazelnut Latte !

We are here yesterday and today, & most likely again tomorrow! She served us with 10 minutes before closing time, the second time we got there early, the place was busy, lively and still very timely. She also made one of the best white chocolate hazelnut lattes- I'm a coffee snob too. The biscuits are unique & very delicious, the sausage is also super yummy and original, so much egg there was enough to share with my dog. Everything you need before you head out to explore!

    Hog Heaven Smothered Biscuit
    Gary Q.

Surprisingly superlative Southern vittles in an unassuming atmosphere in the rain drenched Pacific Northwest. It looks like a coffee takeout joint, but nobody told them it had to taste like it too. The biscuits do not come from a box. These are the real McCoy, and the gravy is thick and flavorful. The portions are massive, so be prepared to leave full.

Quite obsessed with this biscuit place. They offer one of the best gluten free biscuits I've ever had, the eggs are fluffy and delicious, and the sausage patty is slightly spicy and tastes incredible. It's also cute, clean, and cozy inside. The service is friendly and quick. Do not miss this place if you're in the area!!

A coastal hideaway worth the experience, flaws and all:…read more Before anything else: Alyssa was our server, and she was fantastic. Warm, attentive, genuinely friendly in a way that felt human instead of rehearsed. When we paused for family prayer at the table, she didn't hover awkwardly or disappear, she joined us. That kind of moment doesn't show up on a menu, but it shapes the entire meal. It's the difference between being served and being welcomed. Mother's Day dinners are usually built on sentiment first, food second. The Pickled Fish is the rare place that reminds you why people keep chasing the ritual anyway. Perched above the grey Pacific, it feels less like a polished fine-dining machine and more like a slightly rebellious coastal hideaway, comfort, ambition, salt air, and wine colliding somewhere between elegance and controlled chaos. Some dishes arrived nearly complete, others still searching for themselves. But every plate carried sincerity, and that's rare in modern dining rooms obsessed with performance over pleasure. Burrata with Cashew Pesto, Arugula & Lemon Zest: A genuinely good dish trying to claw its way out of the plate. Peppery arugula, earthy-sweet pesto, indulgent burrata. But it lacks tension, the lemon should cut through the fat like a straight razor and barely shows up. The olive oil disappears when it should be carrying part of the conversation. And the sourdough eats like a sandwich slice instead of an appetizer; smaller bruschetta-style cuts would change the whole experience. The foundation is there. It just needs editing. Kind Stranger "Alter" 2023 Red Blend Drinks like someone trying hard not to make another predictable Pacific Northwest red, and mostly succeeding. Black cherry, plum skin, dry cacao, a little amaro bitterness lingering at the back. No syrupy jam bomb, no over-oaked vanity. Slightly rough around the edges in a way that suggests actual people made it. Not profound, but honest, and honesty travels farther than perfection. Pork Schnitzel with Sautéed Asparagus (substituted), Roasted Fingerlings & Onion Gravy: The dish of the night. No foam, no tweezers, no lecture about deconstruction. Just a properly fried cutlet that shatters under the knife, earthy fingerlings, fresh asparagus, and a deep savory onion gravy that complements instead of suffocates. The asparagus substitution, by the way, was handled cleanly, no pushback, no fuss, which says something about a kitchen that respects the diner instead of the ego of the menu. One sharp note of acidity, a brighter mustard, sharper pickle, lemon over the schnitzel, would push it from "very good comfort food" to memorable. But maybe that's the point. It isn't trying to be revolutionary. It's trying to make you happy for an hour. And it succeeds. Cinnamon Bread Pudding with Bourbon, Dates & D'Anjou Pears: The kind of dessert that makes you understand why people romanticize cold weather. Warm, fragrant, grounded by bourbon's dark caramel depth. Dates melt in like brown sugar with a pulse, pears add lift, and the compote is almost sinful. Unlike most bread puddings that collapse into wet cement, this one keeps structure at the edges and stays custardy in the center. My one critique: the bread itself runs a little thin. More of it would give the dish the heft it deserves and let the bourbon, dates, and compote have something substantial to anchor to. As is, it's excellent, but it's a few ounces of bread away from unforgettable. Cardamom Chocolate Panna Cotta with Espresso Chantilly: This dessert does not whisper. Cardamom hits first, floral, spicy, mysterious, then chocolate settles in underneath like wet velvet. The panna cotta is technically excellent, trembling at the edge of collapse with every spoonful. It's heavy, no question, but the espresso keeps the chocolate from going sleepy and the cardamom keeps it interesting. The dessert equivalent of an after-hours jazz bar, dark, warm, luxurious, just slightly excessive. Not every night. But tonight? Absolutely. Bottom line: Not flawless, but sincere, and that's the whole point. Great service from Alyssa, a kitchen that cooks with conviction, and a room that lets the meal breathe. Worth the drive, worth the wine, worth lingering until the coast disappears outside the windows.

For real, I'd eat a gallon of that chowder. I almost took some to go. Fortunately, I went a bit jiggy with my fried prawns.....and got the 10pc! Like the chowder, the prawns were beyond excellent. Lightly breaded, tempura, almost. The breading actually had body and flavor....it isn't window dressing! And the prawns were very big, very juicy, and absolutely the perfect level of done.......a revelation among prawns, for sure! The sauces didn't taste like they came off the food service truck either. Both the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were exemplary. The added coleslaw was bright and crisp with just a hint of malt vinegar.....a perfect dressing!
