What a delicious fast-casual little biscuit place! We were driving through the area on a coastal road trip and we're craving vegetarian biscuits and gravy... which can be so very (very) hard to find. We did some searching and came across Seaview Biscuit Company and not only did they have vegetarian gravy but their gravy doesn't have mushrooms which is my hubbys least favorite kind haha. It's an onion gravy. We also got a biscuit on the side (which comes with butter, jam, and honey) as well as some scrambled eggs. You can also order breakfast sandwiches (including a vegan option!!!), sweet biscuits with Nutella, and more! They have a little coffee bar where you can get drip coffee, espresso etc. they also have juice and hot cocoa, too You order at the counter and they drop off to your table. I went here with great expectations and left extremely disappointed. As I expected, the restaurant is extremely casual and the ordering is extremely straightforward: review the menu, place your order at the counter, sit down (they also do take out) and they bring the meal to you. The ambiance was exactly what I expected, and it was clean. As for the food, that is another story. To start, if you are going to include "Biscuit" in your restaurant name, at least make a real biscuit. I cook biscuits and I have had a number of biscuits over the years while traveling through the home of biscuits: the deep south. A biscuit should be flaky and have a good rise to it: this biscuit failed that test miserably. The texture was like an english muffin and there was zero flake to the muffin. A biscuit should also be layered, which is a result of folding butter into the batter. Again, there was ZERO layering and virtually no butter taste. I could not have been more disappointed. I felt my face express disappointment when the egg sandwich was delivered, in a cardboard container to boot. The egg was also an extreme disappointment. It had zero flavor and was either a prepackaged egg product or an egg that lacked in any whipping. It was not a fried egg nor a scrambled egg: it came out in a patty shape and was not enjoyable to eat. In fact, My Lady told me that she did not enjoy her egg sandwich at all. She makes biscuits and made similar observations to the one's I provided above regarding the quality of the biscuit. She wound up throwing hers away with less then half of it consumed, which is about 2 bites. Note that these were $11 dollar sandwiches and I could swallow it in 4-5 bites. The sandwiches also had bacon, which was simply put into the sandwich with the ends sticking significantly outside of both sides of the small biscuit, or more properly called a no rise muffin. The bacon also lacked in flavor for bacon. Then the coffee: not sooo goood, which is not a good way to start the day. She got a breve and when I asked her how her's was she said it had mucho to much milk product: it was dairied down! She often gets breve and her response to my inquiry was the worst I have ever heard her provide me. I got a cappuccino and my expectations were immediately lowered when they failed to ask if I wanted it wet or dry. When I took the lid off my paper cup (come on - I am eating inside, the restaurant could at least provide a real mug to drink from, not a paper cup - it truly affects the flavor, the period for which the beverage stays warm and the experience. When one is charging $4-5 for a a shot (these were not 2 shot drinks even though she ordered medium (which translated into the additional dairy product): the cappuccino was one size fits all and it definitely only had one shot, loaded with foam to the top of a 12 ounce paper cup. Basically, I left the restaurant with plenty of room for more food and an extremely disappointing taste experience while not getting the java boost I was expecting , all for $30+ and a tip to boot. I basically feel the food and coffee are a poor excuse for food being prepared at a restaurant, and the signature product was not a biscuit. For the food I give a 1. The ambiance was exactly what I expected, so I feel it warrants a 3 - it was clean but bare bones with the ambiance and the service was only bringing the food to the table. read more

Good breakfast, but did the biscuit recipe change? This is a decent spot to grab a fast breakfast bite! After my daughter brought home some huge, fluffy, and amazing biscuits 4 months ago, I couldn't wait to visit in person. I tried the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit today. It was good and hot, but notably smaller and less fluffy than the ones we had before. The service here is excellent--the waitstaff is incredibly sweet and pleasant. The dining area is quite tight, though we lucked out and caught it at a quiet time. I really do hope they bring back those giant, fluffy biscuits! read more

If I had gone with biscuit amsandwich I'm sure this would be 5 stars Biscuit a little dense but flavorful and enjoyed. Had rosemary chicken breakfast. Chicken. Was perfect. Hot, crispy, juicy, flavorful and not crispy. The espresso bar was a really good coffee. My only disappointments were potato's (home fry style) were cold and bland. Seemed a scoop of precooked and not cooked per order. Biggest disappointment and reason not a 5 is how I judge all breakfast your gravy. Wasn't bad just was average to slightly above average. My husband and I came here around 10:30 on a Friday. There was no wait - you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I had a breakfast sandwich and my husband had the chicken breakfast plate. Both were amazing- the biscuits were crumbly on top and crunchy on the bottom. The chicken in particular was amazing, great crunchy breading and just a hint of rosemary. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine at one of their bright yellow tables. We loved this new breakfast spot. The biscuits are moist, fluffy and dense. I had the butcher's bacon biscuit sandwich with perfectly crispy bacon and melted cheese. Service was fast and friendly, you order at the counter and have a seat and they'll bring your order out on paper plates, no frills, as they run a 'to go' or eat in, FAST, hot breakfast in an a cute, clean one room, dining hall style spot. It was raining hard upon arrival at the Seaview Biscuit Company on 6/20/25. No worries though, because the dining experience from start to end was a ray of sunshine. We were greeted upon arrival and the counterperson was patient while we briefly pondered the menu items. The Homie without hesitation ordered the Rosemary Fried Chicken breakfast platter and a 12oz mocha. I went with the In Hog Heaven breakfast sandwich. Pro tips: study their menu beforehand to not hold up the queue during peak time. Also, one can order ahead for takeout. There's ample indoor seating, but can fill up. When it's not raining, there's bright outdoor seating too. Menu items are available a la carte or featured as breakfast biscuit sandwiches, breakfast biscuit entrees, brunch biscuit entrees, plus there's a refrigerated section with yogurt, granola parfaits plus cold cereals stored above. The Homie's breakfast platter had a substantial rosemary fried chicken cutlet, breakfast potatoes, fluffy scrambled eggs, and biscuit with sausage gravy. He was very pleased with this. He even returned with a friend on 6/21/25 and ordered it again! Also, the breakfast potatoes can be substituted with fresh fruit or sauteed vegies. The mocha was made with Columbia River Coffee Roaster beans, a bit sweet, but he was able to cut it with additional milk. The In Hog Heaven breakfast sandwich looked rich, but surprisingly it was just right and not a brick. The buttermilk biscuit was fresh and had a nice crumb. The herbed sausage patty was delicious with a bit of kick. Fluffy scrambled eggs topped with melty Tillamook cheddar cheese. Fantastic!
