FINALLY! A decent bubble tea shop on the Long Beach Peninsula! My son and I drove down from Ocean Park during a work break and we were craving bubble tea so had planned on trying this place out. It's a pretty new shop and it's nicely decorated. Its a family run business (husband and wife back in the kitchen, teen son taking orders). Toddler son hanging out by the front counter. Cute! We ordered mix and match combos (bubble tea + two spam musubis) plus a couple baos to go along with. They were a bit busy so we had to wait for a bit, but it was worth it. The bubble teas were good. Not THE BEST I've ever had, but certainly good enough. The tapioca balls were not over cooked, nor were they "old" (which you can tell if they are too hard). It would be nice if they offered different sweetness options like other bubble tea shops do nowadays, because I like mine less sweet, but my son was pretty happy with the sweetness level. The spam musubis were great! Very fresh and still hot. I didn't get a chance to have a bao because I have a teenage son with a teenage boys' appetite. Lol. Oh well, next time I will order more. There will definitely be a next time for me if they can make it through the pandemic. Please go out and support them! read more

Highly recommend! We ordered the Lavender Lemonade, the Spiced Chai milk tea, and the Jasmine milk tea. All were delicious. Coming from the Bay Area where boba abounds, I was pleasantly surprised by to find any Boba shops at all in this area, but now Beach Bubble will be a travel destination I think about for years. The drinks are distinctly flavored but not too sweet. The taiyaki was flaky, filling, and delicious. I wish we had been in town longer, and I would love to make it back someday to try more flavors. The owner was very friendly, and I was most impressed to hear that they make their own Lavender Syrup in house! 10/10 read more

Here I am in Long Beach again, and of course went to Beach Bubble. This time though, I thought I couldn't enjoy it because I can't have sugar. I was taking my brother for a treat. But to my surprise--they can make most of their milk teas sugar free!!!! WHAT?! Stellar. That is unheard of at most places in Portland. Makes me love this place even more. Good Musubi. Bummer they don't really make a whole lot. Came by in the middle of the day and they were all out. Trying to figure out why they aren't consistently being made throughout the day as it's not a difficult food item to prepare. A typical rainy Saturday in Long Beach. Our mood and spirit was instantly brightened by amazing boba tea and even more amazing steamed bbq pork buns. It's obvious they take pride in what they do.
