Great customer service and very helpful but they where out of the most popular boba and the drink was very under whelming

Really nice place!!! Perfect spot after eating lunch next door Tokyo Teriyaki. YES! ice cream or boba? Cmon OG milk tea boba. Really good. Perfect blend of caffeine and boba!!! Tapioca balls nice and chewy. Hit the spot. My wife and daughter ended up sharing a giant bubble waffle cone with ice cream!!! soo good who cares if it was rainy and cold that day. Could be better - they have some interesting combinations for drinks but the boba was super firm and not chewy at all. I had to give up the boba in my drink halfway through because my jaw was done. Staff are nice though, definitely not their fault, probably moreso the ingredients or directions that are given. I'd simply opt for other toppings here. I got the taro banana because of the uniqueness and it was simply a banana flavor, no taro at all. read more

I don't think anyone knows how to make the drinks properly. I ordered the Mango Rush and it was the worst thing I have ever tasted, and there wasn't even any hint of mango in the drink. Also, I'm not sure what kind of batter they are using to make the bubble egg waffles but it was so dry and did not taste good. I don't think the owners know what they are doing. Just skip this place and save your money. Such a disappointing experience, especially with that one rude guy that works there. Maybe he's related to the owners and did not like that I had something negative to say about the drink I got. Which luckily I did get a refund for, but I wish I had asked for a refund for the gross bubble waffle as well. read more

So I was jonesing for some. Bubble tea on the way back home from Ocean Park and decided to try this place out. Glad I did. I got a taro milky tea with boba and 50% sweet. The guy who took my order told me they actually use real taro root instead of the typical purple powder. That sounded perfectly good to me! I am very happy with the result. Way better in my opinion.. Wifey got a strawberry green tea with lychee jelly and zero added sugar which is her usual flavor to get. Unfortunately for her, the drink was not sweet enough. Still decent though. Next time she will know to get 50% sweet. The drinks seemed to be high quality to me with fresh ingredients. We will definitely return. read more

I hate to leave reviews about any place unless it's nice but I just felt this guy in particular was surly and impolite, at least do it when I'm not walking by.. Anyway me and my friend came to visit Astoria for the last couple days. This happened like two days ago. We saw this boba place and had to try it because our boba places at home have such good reputation. So we go in and start to order and she orders her drink fine because it was a special of some sort. I start to order mine and and pick things off the menu to add together, he starts to say "I'm not sure that's going to be good.. but okay", gives me no recommendations and I was too scared to ask after that. Then we start to walk around the store and look at the cute stuff animals and little boba cups. As I'm walking past where they make our drinks he starts to tell his coworker "quietly" how my drink is questionable and won't be good etc. However my drink I have to say (A passionfruit green tea with strawberry boba and milk) was pretty good and my friends was a little on the sweet side but beggars can't be choosers so. Having said those things, the cute trinkets, stuffed Boba Cups, tea sets and ramen bowls were so cute! So happy to have a boba place on the Oregon Coast! Great location in downtown Astoria! My go-to is normally Thai Tea, which they don't have, but the gal working the register was ready to make a recommendation, I ended up going with the traditional Milky-cha black tea and I also got the Milky-Boba Lava...D E L I C I O U S!! Only been here once, but I was super excited to see a boba place in the area. Also, bubble waffles! The waffle ended up being my favorite part, I will gladly go back for a waffle. The taro tea was not what I expected, it was really creamy but a bit too much, kind of thick creamy. This taro tea had a caramel-looking substance that had to be shaken quite a bit, not like any taro I've ordered elsewhere. They do have lots of other options tho, so I will likely go back to try something different. And get another waffle. read more

This place is really hit or miss. They didn't have tapioca pearls ready when they opened, it's run by teenagers who don't seem to care. I got a milky cha black tea and it was mostly just milk, couldn't taste the black tea at all, looked and tasted more like iced milk. Other times it has been spot on, but the bad experiences are quickly outweighing the good. Very disappointing! read more

Best boba place in town, I got a passion fruit green tea with tapioca pearls 10/10 recommend.

Bad service. It was one hour and 15 minutes prior to close and they told me that they didn't have any more tapioca pearls and will not be making more because it's a lengthy process. Seriously? Bubble tea is known as bubble tea because of the tapioca pearls, how could the employees be this lazy? read more

Super exciting to finally have a boba shop in Astoria! The first time I went, I got the taro milk tea and was a bit disappointed. It was incredibly thick and difficult to mix. Taro is usually my go-to so I was not feeling great about it. I gave it another chance today and I'm glad I did! I got their milky lava boba (?) and it was perfect! I definitely will be going back, but I do hope that they work on their recipe for the Taro milk tea. read more

I'm lactose intolerant and was happy to see their wide selection; I ended up getting a strawberry green tea with tapioca pearls. Real fruit is used so there were little strawberry chunks that were delicious to drink! Definitely recommend going and trying it! Also, the staff was super friendly, there was ample seating, and there was great music. read more

Ordered a Peachy Lychee , of course after I left the store and drove off , I noticed that my drink contained no lychee jellies!

The taro is my favorite especially because they make it in house!! Since discovering this business a couple weeks ago, we have gone back 3 times. So glad we have this in our community. read more
