Could be better - they have some interesting combinations for drinks but the boba was super firm and not chewy at all. I had to give up the boba in my drink halfway through because my jaw was done. Staff are nice though, definitely not their fault, probably moreso the ingredients or directions that are given. I'd simply opt for other toppings here. I got the taro banana because of the uniqueness and it was simply a banana flavor, no taro at all.

Really nice place to sit and hang out. Large variety of drinks. Helpful and friendly staff. Good prices, good vibes.

Good tea! Got a lava brown sugar boba with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Was delicious. But the workers seemed a little judgy.

The only boba place in Astoria, and it does not disappoint. They have a wide selection of drinks. My favorite is the Milky Boba lava it was so good. The staff their are all very young and sweet. They also have ice cream not too many flavors but still very good and well presented.

So happy to have a boba place on the Oregon Coast! Great location in downtown Astoria! My go-to is normally Thai Tea, which they don't have, but the gal working the register was ready to make a recommendation, I ended up going with the traditional Milky-cha black tea and I also got the Milky-Boba Lava...D E L I C I O U S!! Will be back again soon for the great service and tasty drinks! Maybe we'll try a bubble waffle next time too!

Taro tea. Too thick with the caramel looking stuff. Boba was good tho

Only been here once, but I was super excited to see a boba place in the area. Also, bubble waffles! The waffle ended up being my favorite part, I will gladly go back for a waffle. The taro tea was not what I expected, it was really creamy but a bit too much, kind of thick creamy. This taro tea had a caramel-looking substance that had to be shaken quite a bit, not like any taro I've ordered elsewhere. They do have lots of other options tho, so I will likely go back to try something different. And get another waffle.

    Pulp

The worst part was the peach oolong tea we got had a metric fuck-ton of peach pulp in it.

Super exciting to finally have a boba shop in Astoria! The first time I went, I got the taro milk tea and was a bit disappointed. It was incredibly thick and difficult to mix. Taro is usually my go-to so I was not feeling great about it. I gave it another chance today and I'm glad I did! I got their milky lava boba (?) and it was perfect! I definitely will be going back, but I do hope that they work on their recipe for the Taro milk tea.

I'm lactose intolerant and was happy to see their wide selection; I ended up getting a strawberry green tea with tapioca pearls.

I guess I just had my last trip to Diamond Espresso. As a loyal customer for almost a decade, we…read morelooked forward to seeing them again during our trip to the beach. We've always tried to support them as they are a small business and I know the owner does try to keep her prices low. I can't get over my experience yesterday, though. As soon as we pulled up, it was crystal clear that we weren't welcome there. The barista was in an obvious bad mood, you could literally feel the tension coming from her - no greeting, no how are you, no even looking in our direction when she barked out "what would you like?" while carrying on with folding a paper bag and putting it away. We had to repeat our order three times (a basic mocha and latte, no modifications) for who knows what reason, but had she been looking at us, I'm sure she would have heard us just fine. She was obviously irritated by our very presence, and it was rude and uncomfortable to say the least. My husband and I sat there in awkward silence for what felt like forever. Then, another customer pulled up to the other window, the barista again didn't acknowledge them, look at them, and we watched as they looked confused like maybe that window wasn't open. If you are the owner, the girl had long red/brown hair, a nose piercing, tortoise glasses, and a distinctive 8 ball tattoo on the back of her left upper arm. Her attitude is NOT a good reflection of your business, and not what I've grown to love when visiting your stand. I'm sure you'll get the same feedback from others, especially those who visited on January 2, 2025, and if you have cameras, I suggest you review them. One person really can ruin things for everybody.
