Loved this place!…read more We will be returning soon! We were greeted right away. Wait staff was great. Our waiter, Cheryl, was knowledgeable when asked about the food and was kind. It was busy, and she still made rounds to make sure she knew when our appetizer, food, and drinks were coming. This was our first time, and the food was the best we have had in a long time. You can just tell the quality in the authentic Italian food. Recommend 100%! Things to know: Call to reserve. Don't just walk in. This place is small and popularity is known all over and especially by the locals and you don't want to miss this. Parking is scarce, but additional parking behind the coffee shop just past the restaurant. Kid friendly. This restaurant has wonderful choices of wine, favorite bar drinks, a variety of beers, and berry lemonade. They have happy hour specials. Can't wait to come back again. This is one of our new favorite spots for dinner.

Our server was very friendly and shared many delicious sounding specials. The four of us shared a nice bottle of Chianti to start the leisurely meal. They also give out free focaccia bread to start which is very good. For appetizers we ordered the calamari, fried potato cakes, and the heirloom tomato burrata appetizer special. Everything was delicious. I especially loved the calamari, which was served as tender strips instead of the usual rings. Two people in our group ordered the scallop linguini and said it was incredibly flavorful, with delicious homemade pasta. My friend and I both had the Spinach and Ricotta Rotoli, with one made vegetarian. It was rich, satisfying, and tasted like it was made with homemade ricotta, just like the pasta. For dessert, we shared the pistachio cake and tiramisu. The tiramisu was excellent, but the pistachio cake was the standout. I'd never had pistachio cake before, and it was so good that my friend ordered another slice to take home. The ambiance was lovely, with a live piano player on Saturday evening (I'm not sure if that's offered every night). While the atmosphere is relaxed--as you'd expect in a beach town like Ocean Shores--it still feels like a wonderful spot for a special dinner. We will definitely be back.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty empty/chill. I got seated after a minute and…read moreordered a crab and spinach benedict for lunch and a classic breakfast sandwich with coffee for breakfast the next day. I was staying at the Polynesian resort so it was super convenient that I was able to just walk here. I ordered breakfast to go since I was planning on heading out before the restaurant opened for breakfast. I appreciate that they accommodated my slightly complex order. The crab and spinach benedict looked good and tasted good. The hash browns were crispy but a bit under seasoned. The eggs were perfect and had runny yolk after I bursted them. This crab/spinach/egg combo works very well. The crab tastes very good and the spinach added a good textural component. The hollandaise sauce looks a bit funny (maybe it split?) but still tastes good. I like the benedict a lot but wish it had more crab. Service wise, the only hiccups that I experienced were that I asked for ketchup but it never arrived and I was too lazy to get up to ask again. They also ran out of to-go coffee cups so they took it off my bill. Overall I had a good experience and really enjoyed the benedict.

Chicken parm is good, so is their ribeye. Great burgers. Friendly servers who remember me even if it's been months since I've been here.

I have been on an ice cream kick all summer trying to visit as many creameries as possible. So…read moreafter a long day of fishing in Westport, I decided to give this little ice cream shop a try. I was dying of thirst and needed a place to use the bathroom. The location appears to be a gift shop with an ice cream business on the side. Regardless, it is conveniently located at the waterfront. The shop did not have a ridiculously number of flavors. I would say it had enough. I decided to try the Mango sorbet on a waffle cone. The ice cream was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised by mango flavor. I think what I liked the most about it was that it wasn't super rich and that helped quench my thirst. I was dissapoined the establishment does not have public restrooms. Actually most the business in the area are the same way. After spending the day out on the boat fishing I was looking for a nice place to use the bathroom and rest for a little bit.

For myself this is the approach I took, as I eat ice cream rather slowly. Inside there are vibrant colors all around and even has a section of children books and DVD's for your kids to browse through as you wait in line for your turn to get ice cream, or a waffle cone; this idea in my mind is a very ingenious idea and I applaud them for this. Nice family friendly atmosphere, and a great place to grab some cold treats; walking along the pier watching the boats come in and leave, a sight so peaceful and tranquil you may just forget your ice cream is melting.
