Had an early morning appointment for Gracie Mae to get groomed at 8:30. We decided to treat ourselves to breakfast at Arnies. What a warm a cheery place, nicely decorated, very welcoming. My husband ordered eggs( cooked perfectly), sausages, hash browns and toast, I ordered French toast (can't remember the last time) with Marion berry syrup, YUM!!! Nice quiet start to our day.

The food was okay. Nothing exciting about it. The chicken fried steak was so chewy I did not take more than two bites. My wife loved the cappuccino. The gravy was incredibly lumpy with uncooked flour. Service was good.

My goto breakfast place in the Astoria area. Servings are huge! We had Arnie's Hobo, a side of hashbrowns and a sausage breakfast sandwich. The gravy is seasoned well, the biscuit - big and fluffy, the hashbrowns are nice and crispy and the sausage patty was nice and juicy. All of the food was hot. Service is always pleasant. We went early so we didn't have to wait, it does get busy. If you're a veteran, be sure to let them know and you will get a 10% discount.

What a great little find on our way to Seaside. This place is so cute! Totally casual environment, names on the windows of employees, lots of fun art and sayings on the walls. Inside there's a bakery and coffee stand if you're not wanting to stay for breakfast you can grabe a pastryto go. We didn't have to wait long for a table but shortly after being seated the place filled up. The menu has options for everyone. Becky G. was our server and she was wonderful. Helped with decision making based on customer favorites, engaging, funny and attentive. Our food was delicious! Portions were plenty and we took food back with us. I've definitely saved this place as a favorite and hope we get the chance to come back.

Love this place! We always visit when we are in town. The food is flavorful, hot, and fresh. Service is friendly and speedy. I love the cozy cafe vibe. I definitely recommend this place for a wonderful, hearty breakfast.

The kindest wait staff I may have ever encountered. We where checked with multiple times. Everything arrived quickly and was amazing. I love that their menu has a smaller portion meal options. Espresso also offered and donuts. Just all around amazing service and food.

Super popular breakfast spot in downtown Warrenton. It's spic and span clean and bright and accommodating, and the staff is dialed. The place works like a well-oiled machine, turning over rushhour tables fast, taking orders fast, keeping your coffee cup filled, and getting food out fast. This is standard American breakfast fare. Eggs and hashbrowns. Chicken fried steak. House-made corned beef hash. Pancakes and waffles. Eggs Benedict. A signature series of biscuits and sausage gravy. All well-prepared. All of that said (I'm speaking of the weekends when I tend to go out for breakfast), the place is packed and waits can be really long. That's why I gave 4 rather than 5 stars. In this regard, I suppose they're a victim of their own success. Last time I was there (a Sunday) there were 10 parties ahead of us, and a 45 minute wait. While that might not seem unusual in Portland during Sunday brunch, it's a long wait for the North Coast. The food is good, but it's not something particularly exceptional that I'd want to stand in line for. There are breakfast places nearby (I live in Astoria) without a wait that have food every bit as good. That being the case, it's hard to justify waiting so long for a table.

Great little breakfast-lunch place just outside of Astoria. Love it when a restaurant serves both breakfast and lunch, because my husband isn't a big fan of breakfast food. We were told it would be about a 10-15 minute wait, which was fine, but it ended up being less than 5 minutes! Customer service was absolutely amazing, especially considering it's a busy holiday weekend. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but the only reason for it not being 5 was that the food wasn't anything over the top. My husband got "The Dip" and I got the Corned Beef Hash, both were just average. I still highly recommend this cute little Cafe if you're in the area for the customer service alone!!!

Without a single clue what to do in Astoria (first time visitors), we parked for $10 in the Port of Astoria lot on the west side of town. It was a warm day, and we were hungry, so we took to Marine Drive to look for breakfast and this was the first place we saw. It says they serve it all day. I don't think they have their own lot but street parking doesn't seem to be a premium here. Later on, we discovered that this place also made the vet staff's recommended list which was a happy coincidence. It says on the door that they don't have public restrooms, which they don't, but they do have a men's and women's restroom for customers. Nice ambiance with the nautical theme and some slot machines (is gambling legal in Astoria?). I particularly liked the piece they took from a real ship called Raven and perched a fake raven on it on the wall. Makes the little goth in my heart happy. You order at the bar and the lady who took it wasn't the friendliest. P told me in retrospect that service was slow and she had a bit of an attitude when I asked him whether this place warranted a 4 or 5. I guess she did, but all I noticed was how good the food was! The workers breakfast for $14 is outstanding! The sausage patty is luscious with a nice bite of heat. They make your eggs perfectly and they cook their potatoes skin on in a skillet that leaves the edges with a nice crisp flavorful crust. You need the toast (we both ordered dry wheat) to mop up the egg and eat with the sausage to fill you up. Honestly, haven't had a breakfast where every single element of it was all of great quality. Plus, it's an almost perfect portion of food. I know I want to go back if I can just convince P to ignore the attitude. Another cool local hangout. There was a jolly bunch of older men drinking, laughing and chatting that provided an awesome soundtrack to our visit.

Ambience - small tavern with seaside vibe with both indoor bar and table seating as well as some limited outdoor table seating. As a party of one, I elected to sit indoors at the end of the bar. As it's located on HWY30 at Portway, I imagine sitting outside could be a little noisy at times. Service - prompt and very friendly. Seemed like the sole bartender was the sole waitress as well...but she was very attentive nonetheless equally dividing her attention to a full house of customers! There appeared to be 1-2 short order cooks in the back...so small crew to handle the lunch crowd. Food - clam chowder, fish and chips, and a cider...a reoccurring meal of mine when traveling through the PNW and kinda how I like to judge one place from another. Thick NE-style clam chowder loaded with clams! Solid contender and some of the better chowder I've had as of late. The F&Cs were 3, 2-3oz sized halibut pieces fried golden brown with a huge side of string fries...also very crispy! With some lemon and malt vinegar on the fish and a refreshing cider on tap, it all went down quite well...yum! Price was reasonable, although maybe a little pricy given this was the industrial side of the riverwalk. Nonetheless, the food/drink, service, and ambience were all good! Felt his was more of a local hangout for those working at the marina as compared to, say... Astoria Brewing... a definite touristy alternative that's larger, busier, and smack dab on the riverwalk. Both are solid places offering different vibes. Definitely will be back here as well! Cheers!

We had managed to eat seafood at every meal and when I saw that T Paul's Supper Club had a Louie salad on the menu (I'm a sucker for a good Louie) we were in! I'm not totally sure of the vibe they're going for and, to be fair I've only been inside one supper club and it was in Las Vegas, so maybe not a fair comparison. We accidentally walked into the bar section, which seemed like a tiki bar. We were sat in the restaurant, which was decorated with an amateurish mish mosh of seemingly random items. I didn't see a stage, but maybe there was a place for a performer. We were there for lunch. The many is extensive, but also don't seem special. Lots of tiki type drinks and many menu items you'd expect. We ordered the calamari to share, on the recommendation of the server. It was pretty good. We also ordered the Louie Louie to share, which actually isn't on the lunch menu but they kindly agreed to make it for us. I should have been alerted when the server asked what kind of dressing we wanted. She listed several, not including thousand island. I responded, "I think a Louie traditionally has thousand island, do you have that?" She did. The salad had many of the elements, most importantly a good sized amount of lump crab meat. That part was good! The other elements were meh. I would have liked avocado. And I think if you're doing a $30 Louie, you need a special dressing. There were maybe 8 bacon bits. Just not a flavorful Louie. Maybe they do other things well, but I won't be back.

My cousin ordered the Oklahoma Double Smashburger, and I ordered the Bacon Black and Blue. I thought I had ordered a double, and she thought she had ordered a single, so we ended up moving one patty from her burger to mine. I was really, really hungry. I devoured my burger and fries. I was a little disappointed that fries were the only potential side (all burgers automatically come with fries), but, given how much trouble the staff had keeping orders straight, maybe they don't need to be adding menu items. The Oklahoma was the first decent Oklahoma smashburger I've found anywhere. Both of our burgers were true smashburgers, with caramelized patties. My cousin's had a lot of mustard and onions, while mine had bacon and blue cheese. I didn't love the amount of bacon and blue cheese. It's not my new favorite blue cheese burger of all time-- a spot still held by Gott's in California. But it was really, really good. Good enough to make us forget how annoyed we were at waiting 46 minutes for two burgers. The toppings were all fresh. The bacon and blue cheese were both top quality, although I wished there was a little more of each. The smashburger had really good flavor, but was on the lighter side as far as smashburger patties go. The cart was in a little food cart plaza with about ten carts surrounding a beer tap hall. The vibes were slightly more classy, beach like, and romantic as opposed to other food cart malls. Our burgers were about $18 each, which was definitely on the higher side, but that's what it's like ordering from a bougie food cart by the sea.
