It irritates me so much when I go in for lunch and there is only one or two other tables. This place has the best food in town with the biggest portions at a very good price. I swear if this place closes, I might just move. And I meet folks who have lived here their whole life and haven't been here. I don't know if they think it's expensive, but it's not. I can eat off of their chicken pasta plate for 3 meals and it is covered with freshly shaved Parmesan! Now it seems fancy, and, well, it is.....But, my husband and I go in for linch covered in dirt from the farm and we are treated well. Today I had the catfish sandwich, delicious, and my husband had their chicken salad, which is a staple home run.

This place is incredible and is the perfect spot for a romantic evening. The servers are very attentive and friendly. Beautiful decor and many great food choices. I ordered the 10 oz Bone in Cowboy Ribeye with an amazing butter pepper sauce and my wife got the Bourbon Salmon with a tremendous salad. A wide selection in dressings. Both were cooked to perfection and very moist. The cake choices for desert are amazing. They have countless other choices that are sure to play. You will not leave hungry that is certain. If you are looking for a nice place this is one of the nicest restaurant in this country. Defiantly Corbin's hidden jewel, souther hospitality at its finest.

Sorry, the oic with the whole meal was blurry. Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce

. After a long day of hiking and travel we arrived at Corbin. We wanted a good meal, as we had been on the road for several days eating southern food on diner found on the road. We were informed that they were completely booked for the evening as the it was Friday and the town was celebrating Halloween. But they encouraged us to show up,,so we did and we were seated. Yay!!! Jamie, our server was excellent, kind, funny, attentive, and helpful. This day they had a preset fix menu which was very much like a thanksgiving dinner. We order one serving of the chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing and the best cranberry relish. The chicken was perfect, moist and cooked throughout. Stuffing did not disappoint. The finished touch was a lemon berry meringue pie, delicious sweet ending. The atmosphere was delightful, the decor extravagant, whimsical, and exuberant. Large establishment, each room decorated in different theme with large unique pieces. Worth taking a little tour. The workers were all dressed appropriately for the night. It was a lovely experience.

Surprisingly clever restaurant in the heart of Corbin. The dining area was quite unique and elaborate. We had mixed results in our dining experience. The shrimp scampi was heavily creamed and had a little taste to it. The Hawaiian chicken was beautiful and tasty. I ordered a prime sirloin and was given prime rib instead. Not wanting to pay for that I sent it back. The server wrote my order down incorrectly. I would go back again. Our server did not seem overly familiar with the menu which may have caused the mistake with my steak. I'm on sure about that. Once I got the correct steak it was very tasty.

This place is truly one of Corbin, KY's hidden gems! It would be worth a trip just to eat lunch or dinner here! The atmosphere rivals Claridge's in London. Each room has a slightly different theme with really fine antiques and artwork beautifully presented. I can only imagine how they dress it up for the holidays...Their menu was so diverse that we had a hard time choosing our lunch. We finally settled on two of our darling hostess's favorites, their homemade chicken salad and their special Season's cheese sandwich with their sweet potato fries. The chicken salad was the BEST I have ever had and my hubby liked his cheese sandwich equally well. They both were so huge that we brought half home along with a piece of their bourbon pecan pie that we are dying to taste later. Check when they are open and do yourself a favor and come here to eat and browse...

Paul and I stopped for lunch at Seasons while on the way to Asheville. We arrived around 11:30 and were seated right away. Seasons is located in a beautiful, expansive building on Corbin's main strip. The main dining room features a wood burning fireplace, a crystal chandelier, and beautiful wood all around. The only thing about the setting that did not make sense was the music--contemporary pop. It just did not fit. Paul ordered the chicken salad platter and the red pepper tomato soup. He enjoyed both selections. I tried a bite of his chicken salad, which is made in house, and found myself wishing I had ordered that platter. I ordered the Black and Blue salad with bleu cheese dressing, and the Renaissance mushroom soup. The greens were incredibly fresh, and the dressing was impressive. Unfortunately, the steak was tough. The mushroom soup was excellent. A word about portions at Seasons--they are ridiculously massive. I live to eat, but I could only finish a third of that salad despite walking in the door famished. Our server could have been neither more friendly nor more slow. Thankfully, the former of the two is more important to me. In summary, if you are passing by Corbin and have the time for a slow paced, scrumptious meal, I recommend Seasons.

Best chicken salad EVER! This hidden gem of a restaurant will not disappoint! If you want to be blown away Go here!

What a hidden gem! Fabulous chicken salad, great service and the rooms full of trophy mounts, collectibles and antiques were amazing! Loved getting into the holiday spirit w/all the fall and Christmas decor! Can't wait to go back to dinner next trip thru!

I tried the prime rib special with two sides. Requested medium rare with sides of fried okra and green beans (before realizing green beans aren't in their menu). Our friendly waiter recommended broccoli or asparagus. I chose asparagus which was completely overdone to charred, woody and inedible. I've done that myself at home but this should not have been plated. I didn't mind no asparagus but was surprised it was an up charge (premium side - should've read the menu more thoroughly). Overall, you can't go wrong with the regular fare like burgers and appetizers. It's a clean restaurant with very friendly staff - they make you feel special, almost like family. Give them a try but don't expect quality restaurant cuisine. This is a diner with ambience.

The restaurant was playing "old style" Christmas music (like from the 40's-60's) over the speakers that was very pleasant. There is a full service bar on one side of the restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant was very clean. Our server came right over and took our drink order, then our food order. She also brought us a loaf of brown bread with soft butter. We decided to split the grilled salmon with the house made potato cakes and steamed broccoli. It was all delicious! The potato cakes were killer! The best we've ever had! The server said they make them here. They also have them on the appetizer menu. We HIGHLY recommend them!! The broccoli was cooked just right with what tasted like minced garlic and a little Parmesan maybe. Very flavorful. The salmon was topped with a diced tomato relish that was nice. We really enjoyed the entire meal and experience! Our server, Aerial, was wonderful!! We go back and forth between TN and Ohio quite often. We will definitely be back.

It set the stage perfectly for what was to come. Our host was quick and helpful, immediately bringing us big cups of water, which was a nice touch. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and was impressed by its tenderness, pairing it with crispy onion rings. Nicole and our little one shared the mixed platter, which came with two ribs, two pieces of chicken (choice of dark or light), and pulled pork, plus sides of beans and mac & cheese. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. Even Floyd and Casey got to enjoy some scraps, which they happily devoured. Dessert was a highlight: two cinnamon apple bread pudding cakes with whipped cream. Rich, sweet, and indulgent -- we left feeling full enough to skip dinner and ready for a nap. The only drawback was the grease factor. Toast was overly buttered, and overall the food leaned heavy, so be prepared to grab plenty of napkins. While the flavors were excellent, the richness sometimes felt a bit overwhelming. Sonny's BBQ delivers hearty portions, smoky flavor, and a welcoming atmosphere with attentive service. It's pretty dark inside but the lighting fixtures they have are very unique! Wear a lighter layer under your coat/sweater cause it is pretty toasty in there. Our waitress took our order only to find out the prime rib that was advertised out front wasn't available - so she retook everyone's order about 5 minutes later and what I assume was the manager came out to apologize. He stated that he kept reminding the staff to flip the specials out front, assuming this is a reoccurring problem. Three out of six ordered the cowboy ribeye (another advertised special) and it was the same quality you'd get going to Waffle House, unfortunately. The fat wasn't rendered properly leading to rubbery texture and there wasn't a proper sear. 2/10 The other three of us picked the bowl of potato soup (6/10), Philly Cheese Sandwich (9/10), and Shrimp Scampi (7/10). The potato soup was pretty standard and could've used a little more seasoning. When I took my leftovers home, I added onion & garlic powder, kinders the blend, and salt & pepper and it was perfect! Shrimp Scampi tasted good but the noodles were well past Al dente. Not a big deal for the person who ordered it but something to note if you're a texture person. Overall, it was mediocre service (I think our server was new) and hit or miss food. It would be a great place to stop and grab some drinks at the bar, though.
