Pretzel with beer cheese and honey mustard.
    David W.

So, if I ever go back to this restaurant I wouldn't tip. You order at the bar, they hand you a drink cup and you fill it up yourself. So basically you don't have a waitress or waiter. We ordered the big pretzel for an APPETIZER, but apparently they don't understand that appetizers are served before the entree. So, all the young people were yuckin' it up at the bar, and I saw our orders get placed on the counter in the kitchen. They rang the bell twice before my wife went to the bar to let them know our food was ready. So in summary I tipped for a waitress that didn't exist, my food was okay but I really didn't enjoy my dining experience. I'd only tip the cooks if I went there again because nobody else does didly squat

What a wonderful surprise to find this bistro in Corbin, Ky! There really is not much to do around Cumberland falls and we were looking for good food and craft beer on tap! This was it! Food was amazing, draft beer choices were great and cocktails were so beautiful! I would definitely make this part of any visit to this area! My one complaint? It was so cold we couldn't enjoy staying. I'm not sure why the air conditioner was cranked so high. If only they had a patio outside; we would have stayed, drank and grazed for hours. All in all we LOVED the high end, yet relaxed feel of this gem!

The place is a rustic taproom for American fare such as burgers & farm-fresh veggies plus craft beer & bourbons. We stopped in for lunch and everything from the restaurant itself, to the staff, to the food was great! We just happened to stumble upon this gem today. I started with the Americano burger, it is so simple yet packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The brussels sprouts were outstanding--definitely among the best we've had. I do not like brussels sprouts. However the sauce was delightful, and the cooking was spot on. The pub fries were served hot and had a satisfying crispiness. I tried the Sichuan dumplings, which were a standout. They had a super crisp bottom and a nice chewy top, this made them absolutely amazing. They come in orders of five per order. I also had to try the pretzels. They were served piping hot and perfect. The beer cheese was good, but pales in comparison to the honey mustard. It tasted like it had a little horseradish in it. But whatever the secret to it is, don't change it. My wife got the Jacket Potato and she enjoyed it as well. Highly recommended this joint!

I was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much in a small town like Corbin. But the beer and the food was great. Be warned - the Big Ass Pretzel is huge. I could've gotten that as a meal by itself rather than an appetizer. But I did eat the remainder later that night heated up in the microwave at the hotel. I tried the thick-cut bologna sandwich with a side of brussel sprouts for the entree. I usually dislike sprouts but these were fantastic. Service was great as well and good atmosphere. If I'm ever back in Corbin overnight - which is not likely - I would definitely eat here again!

Stopped for lunch driving back to Chicago. What a gem? Cute spot with great service and DELICOUS FOOD!! Their Brussels sprouts TO DIE FOR! We had a burger and a couple of KFC Sando's. Everything was phenomenal. Highly recommend

It is a bit loud, maybe some sound deadening would help but other than that this place is amazing! Excellent service and beyond excellent food. Absolutely recommend the Shrimp Toast it is out of this world. The Americano burger and Shrimp tacos were also fantastic! Great restaurant!

The fried chicken sandwich looked so good that 4 of us ordered it. It did not disappoint. It was fresh and juicy with a crunchy crust. The fries were house made and were really good. Atmosphere and service were good too. The girls were really friendly.

I stopped and toured the Harland Sanders Café and Museum, opting not to have a fried chicken sandwich at the original KFC. Instead, I decided to find a place where I could get a cold beer, something for dinner and some wifi to write Yelp reviews. Here we are and thank you, Yelp! Fantastic service from a friendly bartender who helped me find the right beer to start with and the right beer as my dessert. I chose not to have the burger even though it looked amazing and made a healthier choice - the "Heirloom Tomato Salad." Slices of tomato, slices of grilled peaches, a piece of burrata and topped with fresh basil and a delicious dressing. Super healthy, amazing looking meal and just wow. This is a fun, busy spot. Nearly every table filled, lots of people coming and going, all having fun. The music was low enough that no one was shouting but and people were able to have a normal conversation. Street parking was easy to find on a Saturday night. [Review 20131 overall - 185 in Kentucky - 1107 of 2023.]

Fabulous find in our trip through KY. Looking for a place to sit and eat really good food and drink some really good drinks? This is the place. Bonus is that you get to feel like a local as you sit among the locals and visitors alike. Order at the bar then find a seat. The menu is written on huge chalk boards behind the bar. Great selection of regular and seasonal beers. They also offer wine, cocktails, and bourbon. What more could a traveler want? We tasted a couple beers then chose a hazy IPA and a marzen Oktoberfest to start. Chicken Parmesan sandwich and side salad with blue cheese dressing was very good. Bologna Holler with side salad and ranch dressing was delicious. The bologna is smoked then thickly sliced and loaded on toast with spicy bbq chips and some sort of sweet sauce. The flavors exploded in my mouth. Best bologna sandwich ever! They offer desserts, too, like pumpkin cheesecake. But we declined as we were stuffed.

I don't know how this is in tiny little Corbin, KY but I'm SO glad we found it via Yelp, & yet…read moreagain the great reviews were very trustworthy. We stopped in on a Saturday evening right after opening time, hoping we would be able to get a table. The place was mostly empty, but WOW was it gorgeous! So much decor, and not a speck of dust or cobwebs on any of it. Looked like a victorian era mansion inside the dining room they took us to. It was all autumnal decor, so beautiful! The place is probably an old department store or something with many different rooms, each with its own decor theme; lots of space for special events. Some families were seated in private rooms. I walked through several of the other rooms and they were all decorated for different holidays, Christmas & Halloween mostly. Although those rooms had a lot of kitschy decor, they were also very beautiful. There were giant carved fireplace mantles, grand pianos, a hall of mirrors, and gorgeous carved wood antique furnishings everywhere. We were coming from a family reunion & a trip to Cumberland Falls, so I feared we would be underdressed (and felt we were a bit), but the staff was very welcoming and we had no problem being seated. Several other diners were dressed very well, and others were wearing jeans and t-shirts. It appears to be a very popular date restaurant, and it would definitely be a great romantic spot for a special dinner. The server was quick, efficient and friendly and made good suggestions. We ordered side salads which arrived quickly and were beautifully arranged. Super fresh ingredients, and delicious dressings. My husband kept exclaiming it was the nicest side salad he's had anywhere, so he was apparently pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken piccata, and my unadventurous husband had a burger. He liked his burger, and ate most of it. My chicken piccata was excellent! The generously sized two pieces of chicken were a bit thicker than usual for piccata, but they were cooked perfectly. Crispy exterior, and very tender and flavorful on the inside. The sauce was a bit thicker than normal piccata sauce but man was it good, and they did not skimp on the capers, which is my favorite part of the dish! It was served over a delicious rice blend which went so well with the sauce and served as a nice foil to the rich saltiness of the chicken. I ate way more of it than I even intended to and was stuffed. As much as we ate for dinner, unbelievably, we forced room for dessert and got an amazingly good chocolate cream cake of some sort which had thick layers of whipped filling between layers of chocolate cake, all topped with ganache. It was like a homemade hostess ding-dong, except way more moist. We ate most of it, despite our full bellies. My husband also raved about this cake, which is unusual because he usually hates things with whipped fillings, but he loved the cake & we had it eaten in no time. Finally, when it was time to pay the bill, it was actually a lot more reasonable than many other places that aren't half as good. Server did a great job. We were super happy with our dinner experience, and both of us agreed that Seasons is a major blessing for downtown Corbin. We will definitely stop in again without hesitation. We walked off our meal by meandering around town in the beautiful evening weather, ending up a block or two away at the pinball museum, so we had a fun date night, all in downtown Corbin!

It set the stage perfectly for what was to come. Our host was quick and helpful, immediately bringing us big cups of water, which was a nice touch. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and was impressed by its tenderness, pairing it with crispy onion rings. Nicole and our little one shared the mixed platter, which came with two ribs, two pieces of chicken (choice of dark or light), and pulled pork, plus sides of beans and mac & cheese. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. Even Floyd and Casey got to enjoy some scraps, which they happily devoured. Dessert was a highlight: two cinnamon apple bread pudding cakes with whipped cream. Rich, sweet, and indulgent -- we left feeling full enough to skip dinner and ready for a nap. The only drawback was the grease factor. Toast was overly buttered, and overall the food leaned heavy, so be prepared to grab plenty of napkins. While the flavors were excellent, the richness sometimes felt a bit overwhelming. Sonny's BBQ delivers hearty portions, smoky flavor, and a welcoming atmosphere with attentive service. Our waitress took our order only to find out the prime rib that was advertised out front wasn't available - so she retook everyone's order about 5 minutes later and what I assume was the manager came out to apologize. He stated that he kept reminding the staff to flip the specials out front, assuming this is a reoccurring problem. Three out of six ordered the cowboy ribeye (another advertised special) and it was the same quality you'd get going to Waffle House, unfortunately. The fat wasn't rendered properly leading to rubbery texture and there wasn't a proper sear. 2/10 The other three of us picked the bowl of potato soup (6/10), Philly Cheese Sandwich (9/10), and Shrimp Scampi (7/10). The potato soup was pretty standard and could've used a little more seasoning. When I took my leftovers home, I added onion & garlic powder, kinders the blend, and salt & pepper and it was perfect! Shrimp Scampi tasted good but the noodles were well past Al dente. Not a big deal for the person who ordered it but something to note if you're a texture person. Overall, it was mediocre service (I think our server was new) and hit or miss food. It would be a great place to stop and grab some drinks at the bar, though.
