Fried mushrooms
Kelly F.

We had a burger with fries and a fish and fries. Mushrooms for an appetizer. Their fries were amazing. The mushrooms were a bit greasy but had a great taste. Nice selection of food. The food came out quickly. I enjoyed the fish however it was a small portion. Nice local hangout area.

Everything they have is good!! I'm not usually a fan of catfish but I must say, theirs has changed my mind! Excellent food and service!! One of my favorite restaurants!

Sampler Platter

Quite place straight across from the copper penny, lovely interior that makes you feel right at home. Sampler platter was excellent, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks were great, potato skins were good. Cheese burger was great, fries were amazing and were the best I've had in a long time, and steak was quite good, cooked to a perfect medium well. Server was nice and sweet, and was good on service. Exceeded expectations, and for a good price! if I'm in the area again I plan on returning.

Fried green tomatoes with spicy ranch sauce. Delicious

I had a pleasant experience here for the first time while on a work trip. The atmosphere is awesome. Plenty of booths and tables around and then a separate bar area with lots of seats. They also play great music in the background-mix of country, classic, oldies. They have WiFi!!!! So save ok your data, folks. In addition, they have great, attentive service. Food and drinks were served quickly after ordering. Various drink specials including $2 draft domestics most nights! The fried green tomatoes and the spicy ranch sauce were AWESOME. They compete with a place I eat from back home. The bison burger was cooked and seasoned well. Bread was soft and warm. The sauce was a little bland but that's the ONLY complaint with food. Very good experience! Will come back when in London

Came here after the Redbud Ride, so I was pretty hungry and ready to eat. Initially, service was really good but I think it fell flat after our order was taken. Not that I expect a server to be overjoyed to bring food out to my table, but good attitudes from the staff makes a dining in experience pleasurable, in my person opinion. I did not feel that here. Once the waitress came to our table to fill our cups after visiting a table prior and whispered something along the lines of "that's what kinda day it is" after the customer asked for thousand island. Regardless, I thought the food was good for a simple and light meal! I did ask for a side of BBQ sauce that I never got, but it was not necessary. The chicken was marinated and grilled to perfection. The vegetables in the salad were also very fresh and the cheese was actual cheddar, not the powdery kind you sometimes get at restaurants! While I was displeased with the service, I would come back for the food!

We were staying at the Baymont up the street. 10% discount with room key. Nice place, clean. Seated immediately. Coke products. The waitress was one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! Appetizer was good combo: potatoes skins, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks. Jenni got the Abby salad - well made, huge amount of chicken on top. I had Ruben. Wasn't rye bread but perfectly toasted, meat was little over salted, little light on kraut. (Have to admit I am a bit of a Rubeun snob). Otherwise would definitely recommend as an all american fair bar/restaurant.

What a cute dive restaurant. Everyone at the bar was so friendly and chatty. Would go back. Wings were really good.

The Abbey is an icon of Fontana. It is a great place for food, drinks or relaxing. I would highly recommend the Abbey!

We were told to sit anywhere by a server and when we did we were left ignored for 10-15 mins then…read morewhen we were checked on left alone again. We placed our drink order then after a bit another server checked on us and we said we'd ordered drinks and she asked about menus. Brought us one and we ordered food. The burger was very OK and the beer cheese app we ordered came out with the burger. The beer cheese was cold and gritty. We'd heard great things about this place but after $35 for a beer, sweet tea, beer cheese app and burger with onion rings it's a no for me. The decor and such is pretty neat but we just went to eat this time not play any games.

Terrible experience! We ere sat by the hostess and it took 10 minutes for our server (who was busy…read moretalking to other staff the whole time) to come take out drink order. We then waited 15-20 minutes for her to take our food order because she said "the other girl hit me with a tennis racket" (not joking). We ordered the fried pickles two different pizzas and nachos and the pickles were the only half way decent thing. The nachos were laughably bad and the pizza was under baked, crust was terrible and overall bland. We had to ask our server for literally everything (including plates for our shared food) and she never once asked how our food was. We asked for our check before we were even half way finished with our food because our server disappeared for 20-30 minutes every time and we also noticed that the table next to us walked out without even drinking their beers and food menus still down since no one even went to take their food order. Mind you there were maybe 3 tables including us and a few bar guests in this whole place on a Saturday at 7pm and I see why now. Overall one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time.

Second time here, this time for Corbin Tourism and Convention Commission's Restaurant Week. We had…read morethe dish the Shrimp Alfredo and is so delish! We wanted to attend the Billiards Tournament but it was canceled due to illness. This place is more an event venue that what you would expect for a restaurant. It has two full bars inside, a outside tiki bar, a large dance floor and outside stage. So if you enjoy concerts and other similar events, this place is for you. This may be suited best for large groups. Also if they are having a concerts, if you just plan on having a drink, (Cover is $12.00) don't expect to get in if you are not interested in the concert. it wold be more geared toward, girls night out, game night or karaoke, it may be a great place. Beer was ok, and food was average, nothing bad, just not my atmosphere.

Joe had the ribeye steak, asked for a little pink inside, came out well done. I ordered the fish…read moreand received 2 large pieces, unfortunately the middles were mushy and not fried long enough. My margarita was bad, tasted piney. Baked potato was huge and very tasty. Coleslaw was very good. French fries were hot, soft, and not crisp. The building is really awesome. An actual ice house converted into a large area with a stage for band, and another smaller room. We enjoyed the decor and ramp to use. Cute outhouse at entrance by the ramp. Service was excellent as we were the only customers at 4:00 pm. Very friendly.
