Best tap room in the area. Great selection of beer plus their own brews. Give them a try. Don't forget to try a flight of different beers that the way to go. Outside seating is a huge plus to come hang out or play a game of corn hole. The younger set gets going after 9 so heads up. read more

Somerset went wet in 2012, which was an excellent 21st birthday present. It took a while for bars to appear in town, and since I haven't lived there in nearly 10 years, I'm constantly amazed when a new establishment emerges. I was home for Thanksgiving break and a few of my high school friends wanted to meet up. They suggested Tap on Main. Okay, sure, let's go, I agreed. Thank God Google Maps is around because I never would have found this place otherwise. The building is a converted car wash attached to a gas station. I swear, only in Somerset. Parking is minimal, limited to one stretch along the gas station lot and on a steep ish hill so a bit terrifying honestly. But go inside and drink away your worries. [Just don't drive home afterwards.] I was surprised to find 6 locally crafted beers on tap. I had their IPA and it was delicious! Plus at $4.50, a steal. There are 20 beers on draft in total, with the remaining slots taken up by Three Floyds, West Sixth, Country Boy, Fat Tire, amongst other tried and trues. They also serve bottled beer, wine, and bourbon. Which I honestly did not know the night I was there, but just discovered after looking at their website. Huh. The space is small, but on a regular night, would comfortably fit 30 people. Since I was there during a holiday, loads of people were in visiting family and it was a bit crazy. Service was slow, but I chalk it up to them being slammed. I'd love to go back when it's not so busy and try more of their beer! read more

I just about grew up in a bar and this is the best around in my opinion. Good selection of beers and friendly staff and patrons. I've never noticed any drama and patrons are always well behaved. Love the patio in the summer. Just what a local pub should be. Thanks to Bill and all the staff for a job well done. Great place. Clean with neat decor - old car wash transformed into a brewery with quality beers on tap. We met the owner Bill whom is very entertaining and nice. They are also affiliated to the deli next door of which was excellent and will bring food over. Do not be deceived as they make most of the things on the menu. My daughters loved their cheeseburger & fries along with their homemade corn dogs from a family recipe. My husband and I had some flights and enjoyed their grouper sandwiches with homemade tartar sauce and amazing potato salad & pasta salad. They also had a fun patio out back. We came across this place while staying in Somerset. The beer was awesome and the service was stellar. We had our Bichon dog with us and sat outside. The owner Bill was so helpful giving us descriptions of the various beers that we chose to have in our flights. He also has a Bichon dog and he stopped by our table a few times and we had great conversations together. I wish this place was in our hometown of Dunedin, FL. Highly recommend this place!!
