This is a smaller Cantonese restaurant located on Avenue U near Sheephead Bay. This please can probably hold 7 to 8 tables of eight at most. I usually meet my extended family here for dinners and can barely fit our family so we had to split into two smaller tables. We ordered a roasted pig as well as lobster lo mein. we ordered in total 12 dishes and it included plenty of protein vegetables and a soup after tip. It was approximately $800. Plus the gave us a cake for my mom's birthday. In ordrr to qualify for the cake you have to put $100 deposit down reservation to let them know you are doing a bday celebration. The food is fresh though sometimes can be slightly under seasoned however it's a good local place to go where the waiters are attentive

Great service and delicious food. Since we had lobster the server switched out our plates often.

You need to spend up to 400 bucks to get a free cake. It was good though - peach and pineapple.

We celebrated my mom's birthday for the first time at this restaurant. The food was good, except for the few things I mentioned in my food pics. The service was amazing, and I thought the decor was nice. I would definitely go back, but maybe for takeout. I tried their chicken lo mein - they serve it with the yummy thin noodles!!

Oysters were gargantuan and commensurate with the $8 individual price; a few of the bivalves had a bit too much sand. The fish pieces with lime sauce was decent, though misrepresented, as lemons were used. Lamb course was quite good and seasoned well. Service was a bit delayed at times but pleasant and accommodating.

this is the worse meal to buy. zero star. tasted terrible. $17 WASTED MY $.

I came here for dinner with my family, we had about 20 people so we had 2 big round tables that were next to each other. The staff were very attentive and all the food came out fast one after the other. I'm not sure if the staff were being friendly or perhaps there's a minimum you had to spend but my grandma got a free birthday cake on the house. We did make reservations ahead of time. The cake was a generous size and more than enough for the 20 people that attended the dinner. There was so much left over that we decided to share the cake with the restaurant staff. I would come here again if I were in the area. Next time maybe I'll try their dim sum.

One of the few restaurants on Avenue U that's open early for dim sim. Came here around 9:30am on NYE and there were only a few people there. It did get crowded by the time we were ready to leave. Pretty standard dim sum: shrimp dumplings, rice noodles with cilantro, tulip cake, chicken fingers, spare ribs, egg tarts, etc. Prices were very reasonable compared to other places in Queens and Manhattan. You can also get dim sum to go. Staff was friendly and restroom was clean. Good choice if you are in the hood and are craving for good dim sum at great prices. $24 for three people who left stuffed. What a steal!

We've been pretty impressed with Season Restaurant (三喜酒家). Dim sum and dinner service are both pretty good here. The dim sum served here are the basics, but they are well-executed and competitively-priced compared to restaurants in Flushing -- your bill may be 20% to 30% less expensive than in Flushing. Season has a dim-sum cart, but it is kept stationary, as the restaurant is too small for the cart to be pushed around. Walk up to the front of the restaurant to pick / point at what you want, or ask a dim sum lady to get it for you. Dim Sum Dishes We've Had: - Ngau Cheung (牛肠; Beef Rice Noodle Rolls). Cheung Fun (肠粉) i.e., rice noodle rolls, are a general bellwether for a restaurant's dim sum. If the Cheung Fun at a restaurant is good, then the restaurant's dim sum is generally good. The Ngau Cheung here is close to excellent -- both the beef and rice noodle have a just-right soft and smooth consistency. Even better, this dish is priced as a Medium plate. Ask for extra soy sauce to maximize your enjoyment. - Ha Gow (蝦餃; Shrimp Dumplings). Pretty good; Season uses de-veined shrimp. - Lau Lin So (榴蓮酥; Durian Cream Pastry). Well-executed, and a decent introduction to the durian's flavor for the adventurous. - Dan Tat (蛋撻; Egg Custard): Very good, though a bit sweet. Recommended, especially when fresh out of the oven. - Wu Gok (芋角; Crispy Taro Puffs): Look to get this when it's hot and fresh, because it's meh when cold. Season's version seems to need more pork mince in the filling. - Yeung Ke Ji (釀茄子; Eggplant Stuffed with Shrimp): Pretty good. - Siu Mai (燒賣; Pork and Mushroom Dumplings): Season's version is very good because it's leaner than at other places. Other Dishes We've Had: - Beef with Peppers and Black Bean Sauce Chow Fun (豉椒濕炒牛河): Very good, lots of noodles underneath the top layer of ingredients. Food: Very Good (4 of 5). Service: Very Good (4 of 5). Tea refills are free; the waiters come by to clear the table of empty dim sum plates, and also provide a change of dining plates. Get on the wait list if you encounter people waiting to be seated, though sometimes it isn't immediately obvious who is responsible for ticket disbursement. Ask the cashier if you're not certain. Atmosphere: Good (3 of 5). Two acceptably clean unisex bathrooms, with ADA grab bars. Value: Very Good (4 of 5).

I came here for dim sum around 1pm in the afternoon. There were 2 of us and it was pretty packed so we had to share a table with another couple. No big deal, pretty common with chinese dim sum spots. We ordered about 6 dishes total. All were good except the spare ribs. The meat felt "soft" which was odd. U had my fair share of spare ribs so I know this was different. Also it was pretty pink so we werent sure if it was fully cooked. We asked the waiter and he said it was but we just didn't want to eat it after that. Overall other food was typical dim sum.

We came here for lunch on Saturday. Dim sum was good and reasonable prices. I liked their rice noodle roll and they were freshly made. You can order cilantro rice noodle with your choice of meat (dried shrimp, beef, roast pork, shrimp and vegetables). The negative side was that some dim sum dishes were a little bit cold. A friend recommended the double egg fried rice. It was pretty good too. The restaurant is really small, but they try to accommodate you as soon as possible. The dim sum cart is stationed in one place and you would need to go there to order. Sometimes the staffs would come and introduce a new freshly made dim sum dishes. Overall, it was a good experience. Note: get the dim sum dishes that just came out or order it.

Been here a dozen or so times but today at closer to 1pm, every dim sum I ate was on-point. Maybe it was the super fresh third batch of the early afternoon (late for dim sum).. or the fact that I had been at the gym since 10am. Shrimp crepes and shrimp dumplings were solid. The Shui-Mai were fat and wonderful. The herbal chicken legs fresh and tender. Even the tripe medley had good flavor, not an easy task actually- it usually tastes a bit overly salty, mucky being it's stomach lining odds and ends. The combination noodle dish of rice vermicelli and bean thread stir fried with slivers of sweet mustard, red onion, sprouts, carrots, squid, chicken, shrimp and egg was perfect. A bit of crust had formed from the noodles and thinly minced ingredients in oil from the pan... o... how deliciously satisfying. The pics below are from Another night btw!

Waitress clipping her fingernails in plain view right where food is being served. Nail dumplings anyone? Disgusting! SMH

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

There was nothing that I ordered that needed ketchup. Nothing. There wasn't even soy sauce in the bag. Then had the unmitigated gall to charge $22 for the salt baked shrimp and told me I had to pay $5 extra to substitute the lo mein for white rice. Who is eating white rice with shrimp? Girl bye. I'm not paying almost $30 for one meal from a hood Chinese spot. If there's no heat in your establishment, your prices need to be in lowercase. If it looks like you might catch staph in your establishment, your prices need not to be so loud. I also believe they overcharged me. They did have a sign saying that the prices went up, but I think they may have been too cheap to print out a new menu if that was the case. I was going off of what they had on the wall for the general public. So as I stated, I ordered crab Rangoon ($7, allegedly), honey wings ($7, allegedly), a shrimp egg roll ($2, allegedly), spare rib tips with fried rice ($12, allegedly). My total was $31. My assumption is they probably charged me extra for pork fried rice, which I didn't ask him for. I know for a fact they are not charging tax because there's no way that you're forcing people to pay in cash while also charging them for taxes that you don't pay. The crab Rangoon was actually pretty decent even though I didn't have the sauce that comes with it. The honey wings were OK. They actually taste more like honey BBQ. I prefer C&Y honey wings. It's real honey and stay hot for an hour due to the way honey maintains heat. I also don't appreciate when these spots chop up a wing and call it two wings. 1 wing is the entire thing. STINGY. The spare rib tips I don't like and neither do I like their pork fried rice. The rice is a bit bland and I don't like those large spare rib tips. I prefer the boneless spare rib tips that C&Y has. A shrimp roll is a shrimp roll is a shrimp roll. It wasn't too bad and it was actually pretty happy. The shrimp was a little bit larger than those baby shrimp that they normally stuff in shrimp rolls. Their pricing is on par with C&Y yet I don't have no issues paying what they ask and their food is good aside from their lo mein. They are not stingy and have pretty decent customer service unlike the guy who took my order here who paused my order to take another order over the phone and tend to the person behind me. This is what I get for cheating on my spot and being lazy when they both were far af.

However, the real negative here is the operations. It is a chaotic mess for the volume they are trying to do. It's not about adding more manpower, it's about streamlining.
