We only stayed at the Seaport for one night but it was a great night. We stayed on the 7th floor and our view was amazing, our room was spacious and very comfortable (the bed was fantastic!) with a little seating area for lounging in as well. The bathroom was massive and clean as can be. The hotel is newer and has lots of fantastic bells and whistles like USB and charging ports built into the night stands, reliable wifi, and easily pressed "Do not disturb" buttons made turning in without worrying about an early knock on the door a breeze. My husband grew up in the Boston area and was amazed at how much had been built up in the Seaport area in the few years since he had visited last. So on our check out day, we stowed our luggage with the helpful concierge and had a great time wandering around and exploring the area before taking our taxi to the airport later that afternoon. Great location and friendly staff makes this a place we would certainly come back and stay at in the future! read more

After days and weeks (maybe longer) looking at hotels for our family Boston trip, I was hopelessly stuck with a bad case of analysis paralysis. I could not pick a hotel. I've never been to Boston and my partner was not of much help, as when he goes it is for work and he doesn't stay in the city. So, I finally decided to take a gamble and do a Priceline booking, which I've never done, for an unnamed hotel (I did select certain hotel ratings, etc). Anyyywayy, we ended up booked with the Seaport and ohmigosh it was WONDERFUL!!! After a couple of back-to-back days traveling with young children (read: mama was tired and frazzled), we pulled up to the front of a strikingly beautiful hotel and were unloading ALL THE THINGS from our Uber, only to turn around and discover our bags and miscellaneous other items were already loaded onto a hotel luggage cart. What a relief. We checked in and I expected to be treated a little differently, since we were kind of "coupon guests," but we were not. I have had that experience in the past when booking deals through third party discount sites. Seaport Hotel did not do that AT ALL. The arrival and checkin experience was really just the beginning of an entirely nice stay. This hotel cares about their guests and it shows down to each detail -- goodie bags for the kids (and pets, if you bring them), every.single.staff.member is top notch (there's usually at least one that drags the bunch down, but not here), elevators require scanning a valid hotel key to enter room levels (nice and secure), and the entire place is clean and well-kept. Truly made the whole trip feel amazing!! Thank you Seaport Staff for a wonderful first trip to Boston! read more

I could not be more pleased by the service and comfort of this hotel. After a difficult trip into Boston, the staff at the hotel at Seaport Hotel were empathetic, caring, and so helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful in a fantastic location with two great restaurants (yummy dinner and breakfast.) While this is enough for a very positive review, it was the extra care that put this hotel over the top. A little kindness and care make a big difference. I will definitely be coming back. I stayed at the Seaport Hotel and had a great experience. Too bad I was only here one night! Highlights: -I was upgraded automatically to a suite upon check-in, which is always great! -The suite is laid out nicely, with a great living room and bar area, and of course a separate bedroom. -The bathroom! There is a TV built into the mirror...I was confused at first until I saw the remote control on the counter. The bathroom also had a heated floor. While it didn't seem to get that warm, it was certainly more pleasant than the tile floor in the foyer. -THE PILLOW LIBRARY MENU! If you've never been to a hotel with a pillow library--and as many hotels as I stay in for business, this was a new amenity to me--it is awesome. They have eleven or twelve different types of pillows that you can order complimentary. I got the memory foam pillow for side sleepers, which felt like my pillow at home. My happy place. -Individual A/C controls in each room help you keep it comfortable. -My room was a corner unit with loads of natural light. -Complimentary bottles of water, tea, coffee, and a Keurig in the room My one ding is that the room didn't have a bathtub. That would have made it more or less perfect. But five stars anyway because of the pillow library menu! read more

I'm staying here and working a corporate event at the Boston Convention Center. It's only about a 4 minute walk across the bridge - can't think of a better commute. There's a bar and restaurant on the lobby floor which is above the standard; decent drinks and good food..might be a little pricey for the offering but glad that it's in-house. Very convenient. I have a single bed room. At first it seems small, but it doesn't take long to recognize the amenities. There's a small refrigerator which is ideal for drinks or leftovers. Above it is a Keurig coffee machine, and the in room bar also contains glasses, mugs, and complimentary k-cups and 2 bottles of water that they can replenish when needed. AC is clean and effective. Only a shower(no tub) but water pressure is passable. Little touches like the master power button at the entry and at the bedside are key. Finally the internet service is pretty good all things considered. It's also complimentary and connecting to it enables the streaming of your device to the tv via a Roku. I travel a fair amount for work and this place is a great fit for a working traveler. Oh yea it's also relatively close to the airport. read more

My daughter and I spent 10 days in Massachusetts and were lucky enough to stay at the Seaport for the beginning and end of our trip. First..location is awesome. Second...service is one of the best I have ever experienced. Third...room view, see pictures. I cant say enough about the hotel. Lovely hotel overall I'll start with the pros We were here 1 night for a company party. The venue was beautiful! The food was top notch as far as visually appealing. Walking around the hotel both inside and outside was extremely nice. I was impressed with the gorgeous flowers and cleanliness of the hotel. Cons my husband & I were extremely tired & hoping to have a restful night. Throughout the night we could hear children running around in the room next to ours & unfortunately at 6am we were awaken by nonstop screaming. It is currently 8am & they have not stopped crying and banging. The last straw for me is when they just started opening & closing the adjoining door (their side only). We have young children which we left at home to enjoy our evening and unfortunately we couldn't even sleep in because of someone else's children. I don't know if they are special needs but you would have thought the parent/s would have taken them out for a walk instead of allowing them to wake up other people. I'm trying to be understanding but I would NEVER allow my children to disrupt others. Hotel staff should perhaps skip a room on each side, place families at the end & skip one room, or place families on different floors since the walls must be thin. This honestly was the biggest downfall and contributing factor in not enjoying my stay. I would also say it's time to start remodeling & deep cleaning chairs/furniture as the rooms are starting to become dated even the caulking around the bathroom sink is turning black/brown. It's just time for some updating before it gets too bad. Overall nice place ...would I stay again? Maybe & that's a strong maybe even if the room is being paid for by my company if I'm not able to rest what's the purpose? For reference I'm in room 1132 the loud children are in room 1130. We stayed in Boston for several nights and had a fine experience at the Seaport. We chose it based on good reviews and general proximity to an event we were attending. Its my understanding that the Seaport is located in an up-and-coming neighborhood which is currently under mass development. I don't usually make "lists" in my Yelp reviews, but I think it would be helpful here for the sake of those skimming quickly! Pros: + Comfortable room and bed. This is important when we travel. + We were attending an event at the nearby Exchange on the pier and were just a short drive away. + We loved the "Do Not Disturb" buttons above the nightstand - very modern and it was easy to communicate with staff. + We forgot a few toiletries and thought the amenities were generous. Cons: + Lack of hospitality/service. No one asked us for help with our bags coming or going. We also had a few times where we asked staff questions and they weren't very helpful (it made me so sad). + Not much walkable in the immediate area in terms of coffee, shopping or restaurants (maybe in other seasons, but not winter). + Check-in was confusing. They kept trying to give us a different room than what we paid for. I had to pull my receipts in order to show them so we could get exactly what we needed. Overall, it was a decent stay. I don't know if we'd stay here again but it is definitely an A-OK hotel if you need something in this neighborhood. read more

Very professional staff. Seamless checkin and checkout. Our bags reached our room before we did. Clean modern rooms with a very comfortable bed and pillow selection. My request for a harbor view was worth the upgrade as we enjoyed watching the sunrise (the perk of jet lag) and the planes pass by. The sound proof windows are impressive--you don't hear a thing from outside. The Seaport area now has so much to offer that you can spend your evenings having fun in the immediate surroundings of this hotel. read more

From the location to the decor, the Seaport Hotel has a lot going for it. Conveniently located on Boston Harbor, there are many ways to reach this beautiful hotel. You can drive, take a Boston Harbor Cruises water taxi or even take the Silver Line on the MBTA. The rooms are beautiful as well, and offer many of the amenities modern travelers have come to expect, including free internet. And by internet, I'm not talking about the wifi, I'm talking about the TV. Yes, you read that correctly, the TV can be used as a computer and to accommodate this, the remote even has a keyboard on the underside, making typing web addresses a breeze. The views are amazing, especially if you have a room with a harbor view, and the way the city of Boston looks at night, is breathtaking. The in room dining experience is fast, so you might not want to jump in the shower while you're waiting for your food, like I did. But, hands down, the best thing the Seaport Hotel has going for it, is its staff. Everyone we saw and/or spoke with was warm, welcoming and courteous beyond belief. I'm talking Walt Disney World levels of hospitality. Easily the best service of any hotel I've visited in the Boston area. I would give more stars if I could. read more

Rooms are comfortable with added details such as Keurig coffee machine, heated mirrors in the bathroom, Bose alarm clock, and free WiFi. Beds are comfortable and rooms have great views of the port. Room service food is good and delivery is very on point. A well equiped gym and a decent sized pool. The hotel also has bikes to rent so you can explore the neighborhood. Make sure to walk down seaport to Yankee Lobster and get their lobster plate or NE lobster roll. It's delicious. Tip: The hotel charges for bottled water inside the room, however, there is a free beverage area in the gym with lemon or strawberry water, orange juice, and milk in the refrigerator that are free of charge. read more

From the little I got to see (getting in 5 hours late does that to you), a very nice hotel! The room is beautifully appointed, with crisp decor and a fresh vibe. It's neutral, but not in a boring way. The bed was very comfortable and the linens felt great. And I loved the bathroom - great shower head, Gilbert and Soames soaps, yum! Two cons: 1) paper-thin walls. We could hear people in the hallway so clearly, it was like they were in the room with you. Bad. 2) $25 for a 7-minute taxi ride from Logan Airport. Everything about this hotel was wonderful! The experience, the location, the service -- it was all top notch. I came into town for a business trip, and my stay at the Seaport Hotel made the experience wonderful. From the very beginning, the check-in process was super quick and easy, and the the first impression of the service was that the staff were professional and eager to help. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the attention to detail in the room was impressive. They also cleaned and turned-down the room every day, which I've noticed most hotels stopped doing. The gym and pool were really nice, too. I also loved the location, or two reasons. First, it was an easy walk to pretty much everywhere (the office building, coffee shops, restaurants, etc). Also, it's right next to the harbor, which has a beautiful walking way. I have stayed at the Seaport Hotel-Boston several times. Prior to my last visit, I enjoyed staying here. Nice hotel. Great location. Nice restaurant. Fantastic gym. However, during my last stay (Feb 2023), I unfortunately tested positive for COVID and my trip had to be extended due to quarantine. My already positive view of Seaport Hotel-Boston was exponentially increased. I called and notified the front desk of my COVID diagnosis. I guess I was expecting a negative response but that was the complete opposite of what I received. The staff was unbelievably receptive and kind and went 120% above and beyond anything I could have imagined. They called the kitchen and brought food to my door. When I ordered food for delivery, they brought it up to my door. They offered to get me ANYTHING I needed, whether it be OTC meds or cough drops or toiletries or linens, etc. The staff is exceptional. I hope to stay at Seaport Hotel-Boston for ALL my future business trips to Boston. I recommend this hotel to EVERYONE who wants to be treated with kindness, respect, and dignity. (PLUS, the fact I was literally quarantined to my room for 5 straight days was made doable by the great view I had from my room. Had I not had this view, I might have struggled a bit!) You are on vacation anyway, so get out and do some sightseeing. We did not have room service, but they have a nice coffee/tea stand in the room. It's a great hotel. The staff couldn't be more attentive and the place is modern and spotless. One big caveat: There is no concierge even though there is a concierge desk. I was told they work part time but we've been here two days and never seen that desk occupied. So if you have a question, request, anything, you have to join the line at the main desk. That desk usually has one person regardless of the line. Why they choose to cut expenses this way is strange and why I give the place 4 stars. read more

My husband and i had a very nice overnight at the Seaport Hotel. It was out first time there and it was planned via a work function. Check in was a breeze- we got a upgrade for a harbor view ($30) and our 8th floor room was super clean and modern. The bed was very comfy- I wish I had a mattress like that at my house! Everything was perfect! The only thing was the pricey parking garage underneath the hotel. It is Boston after all. read more

I only got to stay here for one night, and I wish it had been longer! Here's why: - There is FREE transportation on the Silver Line (bus) from Logan Airport. It takes about 10 mins and drops you off across the street from the hotel! (Thank you, Luther, for telling me about this when I called.) - The location is walkable to where lots of tours begin, not to mention the Harpoon Brewery with its $5 tour (tastes included). - The health club is terrific, with a big pool, steam room, tea, cold water, and fruit available - I'd called ahead in the hopes of being able to check in early and though it couldn't be guaranteed, it was requested...and when we arrived (at 6:30 am, off a red-eye from LA), WE WERE ABLE TO CHECK IN AND SLEEP! Nothing could have been better. - My husband left a shirt in the health club and, though it hasn't been found, the hotel staff was nice enough to call and tell me. Next time I need to go to Boston, I hope to stay there again! read more

Another excellent stay! The check-in process was quick and easy, and the common areas and rooms were immaculate. There must be some sort of soundproofing installed in the rooms as you cannot hear the street traffic or noise from adjoining rooms. We especially appreciate the extra level of security installed into the elevators, which only allows access to the upper floors with a room key. The best part of our stay was the view of the harbor from our room. We think it's an affordable hotel for a night or the weekend. read more

I'm not sure why hotels feel the need to lie to customers, but I suppose this is the age we live in. When we called to make the reservation, we informed the staff we would have 4 adults staying. My two parents, and myself and my brother (both over the age of 18). They assured us we would have a suite with two rooms, one with a king bed and one with two double beds. After having dinner in the restaurant downstairs (after waiting an hour for our food), we went up to our room and found there was only one room with one queen bed. There was a pull out couch from the 70s with the worst springy mattress, and no room for more than one adult. When we went down to reception to fix the situation, instead of offering us the proper suite we had requested and paid for, they said they would bring up a "full size" bed to place in the room next to the pull out couch. When I got back to the room, the "full size" bed was nothing more than a twin mattress, fit for a child. My sister's graduation is tomorrow and I am sure I will be tired and irritated from lack of sleep. I have never felt so screwed over by a hotel, and am disgusted by the service I have received. I will never ever stay here and I intend to tell everyone I know this place is a rip off and to never to stay here ever. read more

Looking for a quick weekend away Boston was our destination. My boyfriend loves hotels so he is always in charge of that. From NYC and a pit stop later around 5 hours we arrived to a warm and inviting hotel simply decorated for the holiday season. Warm and cozy main lobby and above and beyond staff made the quick stay enjoyable. Room was cozy and comfortable for us. Large bed, large bathroom and a lovely little seating nook overlooking the bustling seaport district. We were a few minutes walk away from LAUGH Boston where we were going for our weekend trip. Only downside was the 47.00 valet fee that was not why we expected but other than that the hotel and rooms were clean warm and comfy. Staff friendly and close to where we needed to be. read more

Seaport Boston Hotel is AWESOME. Five stars all the way! First off the hotel is in a wonderful location. I've been to Boston numerous times in different locations, and staying here in the Waterfront is amazing. The hotel is only 8 minutes away from Logan Airport and right in the middle of many amazing restaurants and nightlife. Regarding the hotel itself, the exterior and the interior of the hotel are very welcoming and well-designed. The lobby has an inviting interior with a fireplace, patterned art, and lots of comfortable seating. I rarely encountered a line with the lobby desk and the service was excellent. Our room was fantastic, clean and very spacious with a beautiful view of the harbor. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Another review mentions the towels being an issue, but ours were clean, comfy, and HUGE. Plus there were comfortable bathrobes. The hotel stay comes with complimentary access to the gym and pool. The gym is very nice with towel service, ample treadmills and other machines, and a legitimate weight room with plenty of free weights and a legit squat rack with Olympic weights. There is also complimentary fruit infused water and coffee. In addition, my stay here was for a convention, and the hotel did a smooth job of hosting a number of conference meetings in its conference rooms. Finally, we used the luggage storage service at the end of our stay and that was quick and friendly. Taxis and rideshares had no trouble finding the hotel to go to the airport. The first 15 min wasn't the best. After dropping the car in at the valet we headed in to check in. Everything went pretty smooth, until we opened the door to the room. I booked a deluxe king. We arrived at the room to find two double beds. Ok not a big deal, I'll just swap rooms. Right? I headed down to the front desk to be informed the room was booked as a group. Bottom line, I'm told at the time I booked there was no king rooms. Funny because my reservation says deluxe king-but okay. Even so, let's say there are no kings available--why not mention that when I first checked in? Bit odd. Hoping the rest of the week is much better...turns it got worse. 1. The shower door won't close, making for a cold shower. 2. The light on the deck doesn't work. 3. The coffee pot, also doesn't work. Appears the hotel quality, unfortunately, has some work to do. Should you stay here? Well depends on how you play the odds. About 5.24 out of 100 people said their experience was average or bad--in short they won't be back. Breaking this down you have a 1 in 25 percent chance of having an experience where you won't be back. You make the call if those odds work for you. They don't work for us. read more

I wanted to give 4 stars but in my personal incident that wouldn't be the case. I didn't feel well after consuming some alcoholic drink so I almost fainted while waiting the elevator. The crew (a lady and two young men) was there staying with me and asking if I was okay for almost 10 mins. They made a smart decision by asking what I wanted to do before calling an ambulance otherwise this wouldn't be ideal given this COVID situation. Now for the hotel itself, the room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The only con is that I could hear some noises from outside people talking.
