He is pretty with it, but could not do mourning over zoom. We thought of using a tent in the backyard. One quick google search led me to Jim Mariano's "backyard tent rentals" business. From the minute I called him, when I was so recently bereaved, he was as helpful and caring as family. He guessed our request was for sitting shiva and offered chairs and table and tablecloth, and by the very next morning he had set up a 20x20 tent in my father's backyard, and even returned with a gift for him. I'll always be grateful to Jim for helping us out to sit shiva for my mother during these trying days of COVID-19, it has been an absolute blessing for our family, and I'm so glad we found his business and called him to rent that tent.

Getting married in the middle of the pandemic was a bit nerve racking, but Jim's expertise allowed us to navigate the situation with ease. Jim was able to assess what we needed for our small backyard space and make additional recommendations along the way. It rained for a full 2 weeks prior to our wedding. Although the backyard was not in an ideal situation for setting up tents (very soggy), Jim and his team assured me that the tents would be up the morning of the wedding. I had not seen the finished set up until I walked into my reception. Jim and his team did a wonderful job. If you're thinking of hosting a backyard event I highly recommend Back Yard Tent Rental. From beginning to end they were beyond accommodating. without hesitation if needed a rental company again we would be coming back to Jim and his team.

Having not ever run a paint sprayer before, I decided to rent one to redo a basement with Latex paint on the walls. Calling three or four days ahead allows you to reserve it by putting down a credit card. Seems easy right? That is until you meet the staff at this particular location. Not a lot of personality nor an ounce of customer service. No greetings, no anything. I mean its situated in Wellesley (no offense) but its a rental place for crying out loud. Regardless, the rental seems smooth (except for the $150 deposit you have to put down to rent one of these things) and then I get home to use it and the thing does not want to work with the thickness of the paint. Diluting it does not work either so it basically fails. I return it one day early only to be beaten up by I guess the owner who looked like he was either having a bad day or hates working at a Taylor Rental, because he would have never rented this to me, had he knew I was using it for a basement. The guy not only started going off on me, he started going off on the guy helping me to return this. I told him to eat the deposit for the trouble and have a nice day. It was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen and this is one of the worst rental places in the area. Tell you what, educate your customers on your equipment prior to renting and go learn some customer service! if you ever want to rent something, stick with the location in West Roxbury. At least you won't get treated poorly by some irate manager.

Just as I was ready to book, I asked for a review from someone who had used the entertainer before to be safe, and he became quite defensive. Ultimately, I spent over half an hour listening to someone who seemed more interested in talking about himself and how awesome a production they do than providing good service. Due to his unprofessionalism, I decided not to book the entertainer, even if it were the biggest superstar in the world. I wouldn't recommend using this company: I've had many much better experiences with other companies in the past. Armand dismissed reviews, saying, "Reviews are crap; anyone can write them," as well as "you are putting me on trial asking for this (meaning some kind of review" which I found incredibly unprofessional and telling. I've toned down this review to keep it less harsh, but it's well-deserved; I've only written two reviews in my life, both positive. Good luck trying to be patient while dealing with him--it's simply not worth it.
