Food: I got the chicken Cobb salad, which was pretty plentiful. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy however, the chicken kinda looks like those grilled chicken strips that you get in the frozen section. It's edible but kind of cold and kind of fake tasty. It's also pretty inexpensive to eat here as they have their $9.99 deal going on on Mondays. Service: our server made sure we got everything, would have appreciated a bit more attentiveness, but still fine. Ambiance: very local older crowd that just loves a good spot that's inexpensive with great portions. They have trivia and sport television on the bar section as well as the dining hall. Location accommodation: it's in a plaza with plenty of parking, but it does get full as there is also a nail salon in CVS right next-door to it

Have yet to eat here but they pour great pints of Guinness for $6.25. A good size spot in a neighborhood strip. Looking forward to trying their fish n chips some Friday.

Service and food (except for fries that tasted like fish) was great. Will go back but will order something without fries.

I do like the place but... Never pass off bad string cheese fried as mozzarella sticks. It costs you less to make it in house!

Since my original 3 star review was deleted, now it's 2 and I'll keep it simple. If you like slow service, this is the place to be.

I like the food, been a couple times. The loud music is to much which is unfortunate as I'm close by. Please turn it down!

A classic Irish pub, college football on the tv's, a huge diverse drink menu, and great service. We came for drinks and an app. Our drinks were great, I especially liked my pumpkin pie martini. There is also more seating in the back with couches which is super fun when coming with a group of friends. We just got the chicken tenders which were delicious, I really liked the sauce that came with it. This place just has a great atmosphere and now will be our go-to.

I visited Shannon's on st Patrick's day. I was excited to go there reading the positive reviews…read more but my experience was far from positive. knowing the place was busy I went to the bar to place my draft and food order. The wait staff took my order but didn't put the dinner order in or give me the draft beer. I waited and decided to cancel my order and receive my CCd back. when u got my card back the waitress charged me $9.99 for the pint. I asked to take the charge off because I didn't get the pint. at this time the waitress yelled for me to calm down, that it was an honest mistake. it was the most embarrassing experience I've ever had in a restaurant. I'm a retired teacher ( high school) and this experience brought me back to days of deal with hormonal teenage girls. I went to the Banner restaurant and had excellent service.

Pros: Cozy, British pub style atmosphere; interesting small plates, not too expensive…read more Cons: gets extremely crowded in the evenings; very loud when crowded; staff is snobbish I've been here a few times, and my most enjoyable experiences were during lunch. If you can sit at the bar or in one of the 2 tables by the window, you'll get excellent service. The charcuterie board is great, and the drink selection is also pretty good. However, the last time we came here, it was the middle of the afternoon on Valentine's day. I'm from Boston and Cape Cod and my partner is European; we look like it and we act like it. Upon a brief interaction with the hostess, we both felt spoken down to: "YOU'RE trying to come in on Valentine's day? Without a reservation?" This, coming from someone with a Worcester accent who was dressed like a boy going to church choir. We were shooed away into the dining area: "I guess you could stand over there and look at the menu". It's about 330 in the afternoon- most tables are completely empty. Then a different staff member, also with a working class accent, says "I need you to clear out of this walkway because this is for staff only", despite the fact that no staff were walking there and we had been standing there about 20-30 seconds. We left without saying anything as the hostess tried to say something to us. If you want to feel spoken down to, in the working class city of Worcester no less, come here. Alternately, if you're feeling aggressive and want to squeeze your way in to sit touching shoulder to shoulder, come here. The time before this, the hostess was a soft-spoken woman who mumbled a lot; we had to elbow people out of the way at the middle bar section, which is where she directed us. Maybe in another year I'll want to come back for lunch only. Honestly, I'd rather drive back to Boston if I'm going to be treated snobbishly.
