We just left from their breakfast buffet- clearly a hidden gem! Everything was SO delicious... right from the start! The coffee was so good I could have consumed a whole pot... 2 kinds of scrambled eggs (with or without cheese), crisp bacon, sausage patties, 2 different types of home fries, French toast, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, an above and beyond delicious raspberry danish... so much more. My employer ordered catering from Quinn's for an event. I snagged one of the vegetarian items they sent over, broccoli and ziti alfredo. From the looks of it, it was extremely creamy and decadent with a ton of broccoli. I prepared myself to dig in. Immediately I noticed a thick, short, and curly black hair that few can deny has a suspicious resemblance to a pube. I pulled it off and I am ashamed to admit it but I was ruggedly optimistic that perhaps one had just floated its way over to land on the top of my dish and like resecting a cancerous mass, I was careful to remove the surrounding area with satisfactory margins. I'll blame my poor judgment on the white claw. I took a bite from a distant spot. It really was delicious. The broccoli tasted fresh and the alfredo was smooth and luscious. It didn't take long for me to notice another albeit longer, straighter, and thinner hair deeper within the bowels of the dish. I came to my senses and that was it for me. Our first time here and have to say, we were quite impressed. It's located off the main drag near Quinsig College, and felt like a neighborhood go to place. Nice bar set up and plenty of seating. Our cousin from California was in town and he loves New England seafood. We got 4lbs of the steamers and they were fantastic, not too big or too small, perfect sized. A sure hit for the table. Our meals were fish chips and they were great. Big pieces of haddock. The food was brought out quickly and steaming hot and fresh. Service was spot on. You could tell this was a great place as the older crowd from the neighborhood gets there early at 330p and then the younger crowd rolls in after 5p. I came on a Monday and ordered a medium well steak, received a BURNT piece of meat. asked for them to take it back I ordered medium well, not completely burnt (to the point the char was every where on the plate) the manager, or cook, came out to my table to confront me. claimed he wouldn't cook another $20 steak because he doesn't know how to make one medium well without burning it. was completely unprofessional. the inside being cooked shouldn't mean the outside needs to be burnt. this is the first Ive heard of this. someone at my table ordered a burger medium well (same as me...) no char. imagine that. but decided to insult me inside of just replacing his failed meal. read more

I have tried and tried, but Quinn's keeps missing the mark. I've gone multiple times to see basically full tables and one, maybe two, servers. This means that the service is soooo slow - no refills on drinks, forever to get checks, etc. I understand understaffing to help people make money, but some of the servers are RUDE. Zero hospitality whatsoever. The food is okay. Nothing great, nothing awful. I would, however, stay away from the chili - it is SO salty and literally tastes what I imagine dog food tastes like. Oh, and don't go here on a Tuesday night - they have trivia and the crowd is LOUD - screaming, shrieking, drunkenly, obnoxiously loud, and there are patrons walking around with no masks and won't put them on even when other guests ask them to. Excellent! Easy to make reservations for their outdoor dining. We went on Wednesday, when they have lobster specials. I got the Lobster Caesar and my dining companion got the Lobster Roll. I was told that my valid and current Rhode Island drivers license wasn't sufficient to be served a beer at 2:30pm! I was told this is policy of this bar to not serve out of state ID's, which is absurd! OH! And they may have a dozen Tv's, but there's no sound on any of them! My husband and I love Quinn's. We have visited regularly over the past few years. However, out recent visit was a disaster. My husband ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was not identifiable! Chicken was not identifiable. The chicken had an "orangeish aura" about it, not good! I sent it back and the waitress removed it from the check. I ordered the special, the lobster roll for $16.99. Are you kidding me? A few knuckles and a few tail pieces slapped on a hot dog bun. The worst? The very tired "left over" french fries. Ugh. We love Quinn's. I hope they can step up their game. I went here recently for lunch with my boss. My parents had raved about how much they loved it, and every time my husband and I had tried to go it was impossible as it was packed with nowhere to park. To say I had high hopes was an understatement. Menu was small ish with decent pub fare selections. The atmosphere was cute and authentic, with lots of tvs for sports games and what appeared to be a large draft beer selection. I didn't have a drink since it was a work lunch, so I ordered a water. Unfortunately, it was unfiltered tapped worcester water. Gross. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was 10-13 dollars I believe, and it was not worth more than 7 dollars on a good day. It was dry, there were hardly any condiments on it, and the fries were the bagged frozen kind that they throw in a fryer. My boss got the chicken lunch special that basically mimicks Wright's chicken farm's deal- you get salad, pasta, fries, and chicken. The price on it was good for what you got, but his review of the chicken was just "meh." The real thing that irritated me about this place was the complete lack of service. It was around 1:30-2:00 when we were there, and it wasn't super busy. There were 2 waitresses on the floor and 2 bartenders. I waited tables and bartended for many years, so I understand that a slow kitchen or computer glitch or other unintended mishap can cause a backup in service. However our waitress never checked on us, she couldn't be found when I needed something, and it took 15 minutes to track her down when we wanted to pay and leave. This place has such an amazing environment and good eats! You always feel welcomed and the food is great! Their wings are super yummy and they have a variety of different t flavors to choose from! Also, the spinach and artichoke dip is one of my favorite around! If you get there at 8pm or after they do $1 pizzas with each topping an additional $1. The pizzas are better than some pizza shops and you can't beat that for $1! On Mondays everything on the menu is $9.99 and under! Such an amazing idea! (I still like the $1 pizzas!) I've never written a bad Yelp review before this. Decided to try Worcester restaurant for the 1st time today- Monday. On website, their Daily Special states Monday- $10.99 Entire Menu. There were signs on restaurant walls stating the same. Server handed me a special menu in addition to regular menu, and I ordered a special- seafood stuffed haddock. Meal came quickly but the dish was disappointing- very salty with watery "stuffing". Mashed potatoes and corn were fine. I mentioned saltiness to server and she apologized and said she would mention to chef. Got my check for the full amount of the special meal- 18.99. Tried to give check back to server to correct to Monday $10.99 Entire Menu price. She stated that the $10.99 price did not include special menu. I pushed back because: 1) Signs throughout restaurant said Entire Menu, 2) the special menu did not state those dishes were not included in the Monday $10.99 Entire Menu price, and 3) the server never verbally told me the special menu were not included in the Monday $10.99 price. Three different ways they could inform their customers about this! Server brought Manager who told me the same thing- specials not included in this. This senior lady eating alone would not budge. Manager told me that she did not like my attitude! Are you kidding me? I had not raised my voice but I was peeved; they were in the wrong, not me. They finally corrected my bill. I've been coming to Quinn's for awhile. I usually bring a big group of friends with me. The food is good for a pub. Today the restaurant wasn't even close to full with all of their high top tables empty. A friend and I stopped in for a quick lunch before going to work. They refused to allow us to sit at one of the high tops, saying there needed to be 4 of us. In the past few weeks the two of us have sat there numerous times. Instead they put us at a wobbly card table. When we asked to move to a high top, the manager refused to allow us. He said he would rather loose our business than allow us to sit there. I could see if the place was busy, but it was empty. We were not rude, and politely left. We will no longer be bringing the big group of us there. What a shame. They just lost a bunch of customers. read more
