I called around the Bay Area for a week to find somebody who could, or was willing to, or had the part in stock. Chuck at ScreenWorks got the job done! My iPhone 4s had a bad proximity sensor. The phone has to be mostly disassembled to replace it (I saw the DIY YouTube video). Most places I contacted only fix screens. Others in SF could fix, but didn't have the part. A famous one on Shattuck in Berkeley didn't have parts either, but was rather unwilling to bother fixing it and recommended buying a used phone. Chuck and his team got it done without a hassle. These dudes are solid. I brought my iPhone in for a cracked screen and they fixed it, no big deal. Later I realized the screen didn't work while wearing polarized sunglasses! They ordered a new and improved replacement screen and made the swap, no charge. Amazing work! Got a little too excited at the Adele concert last Sunday and shattered my screen. Called around and couldn't get responses from a couple places, so went with ScreenWorks based on reviews, and was not disappointed! Screen replacement was done within 30 minutes, and they even fixed my microphone so now I can talk without having to put my phone on speaker constantly!! I needed 3 repairs to my Galaxy Note 8:  (1) back glass (2) new battery, and (3) new charging port.  They wanted to charge me three times for taking the back glass off.  That would be fair, if these repairs were to be done at different times, but not when they were to be done simultaneously.  Therefore, I will learn how to do the repairs myself, with the help of YouTube. read more

I was told my screen ways the same Samsung uses in the cell phone. I could tell pretty quick that it was not the case, due to all the display glitches . In less than 1 year, the screen became unusable and finally stopped working and I am again without my cell and its photos of my kids 1st year. I really liked there guys. They fixed my Nexus 6p for cheaper than anyone else, faster than anyone else and had the parts in stock. Now that's service. On top of that they had a coupon for $10 get you $20 worth of work. How can you go wrong. Unbeknownst to me I had a problem with my sim card and I asked them to take my phone apart to make sure they didn't forget to hook up an antenna and they graciously did when they could have said screw you, and they did it in under an hour. They quoted me a price 89+ tax and The part was in in about a week. They say it would take an hour to fix my phone but it was actually less than that.
