story time. A little over a week ago my cat knocked my Macbook about 4-5 feet off my dresser without my knowledge. I didn't realize it was on the ground until I needed to obtain my W2 online. By the end of the week my laptop screen was finally replaced. When I went to pick it up it would turn on, but it wouldn't stay on. My anxiety about school work came back and I just wanted the issue to be over with. I called Sharan who was at the Clovis location by this time and she told me to bring it over for the tech to look at. The team concluded the issue was no longer the screen, however, one of the batteries in my laptop was going out from the shake of the fall. I had to replace not only the screen but the battery as well. Sharan and the Screenworks team made me feel like I wasn't going to completely die. I had to pay a pretty penny, but it was nothing compared to what Apple would have charged me. Their patience, reassurance, and hospitality is something to be valued. I thought these guys knew there stuff but i've been wrong before. I found this place on craigslist and decided to give them a chance. After talking in circles and getting know useful information I came to the conclusion that they must outsource some of there repairs. After every question I was placed on hold after hold after hold. I was going to start off with a simple root since the prices were pretty reasonable but thats where it ends. No knowledge what so ever regarding root. I think they advertise the service just to get people in the door. I figured i would also ask about a few repair prices since i was in town. First I was astonished that there warranty wasn't short compared to most places that offer anywhere from 6mos to 12mos warranties. This place told me 45 days regardless if theres something wrong with the repair. Ive been to plenty of repair places especially being such a clumsy person. Whoever i spoke with was very nice and i bet she does her job to the best of her ability but i can not understand how this place is rated so high. Wanted to add my comments on ScreenWorks. After dropping my Ipad and cracking the screen, I checked around to get it repaired. I decided on screenworks because of price and the fact they were closed to home. While it wasn't the one hour repair I was hoping for or that they were planning on (I do understand complication arising, I may not like them but I do understand them), the staff did fix the issues with the ipad and made sure I sure I was happy with the outcome. A few weeks later, I brought the ipad back in as the home button was sticking. I wasn't sure if this was an issue from the original repair or something new. The tech told me that the button was worn and was catching ( I tend to be a little hard on things) and was replaced. When I went to pick up my ipad to pay for the repair, I was informed there was no charge as they covered it from my first visit. Whatever issue I have brought to them, they have taken care of and treated me fairly. read more

OMG!!! This place is all hype. I can't believe they have so many positive reviews. They are average at best. I went in store last week and had to deal with somebody who barely speaks english. When i asked to speak with manager she informed me she was the manager. I only hope for the best for the company but I don't see it going to much further without good customer service, and I would start buy making sure you can understand customer and making sure the customer can understand you lol. When i first stepped in the shop there was a customer already upset with the outcome of his repair and screenworks tried to tell customer there phone was already operating like it was HUGE RED FLAG!!, not to mention the "manager" was right there and didn't do anything about the whole situation just let it escalate. Screen works in Clovis SAVED my wife's life tonight. When T-Mobile Assurance wanted to charge her $175.00 as a deductible for a new Note 4 {more than a 2 year old Galaxy model}, she called Screen Works on Willow and Nees to see if they could help. They did so well by her and I'm glad, because we all know its happy wife, happy life. Screen Works fixed her charging port for $94.00 in total AND the store manager Robert, gave her Note 4 screen an upgrade by hooking her up with a tempered glass screen cover for free! My wife loves her phone and could have easily upgraded, but she just wasn't ready to part with it. We are both feeling blessed tonight, as we are glad we made the choice to go another route! Please Please Please ask for Jake.. don't mess with your iPhone screen. I called multiple people who were sketchy low-quality or just crazy expensive, but Jake got it done for us. He was professional and quoted me the best price for high quality work! We've gone to several people, but after coming across Screenworks (ask for Jake), we won't go anywhere else. This is the third phone... I know, my family is clumsy and we tend to break our phones like nothing... that we are getting fixed from Screenworks and months later, still best quality. I have never used Yelp before. I downloaded it to leave this review. The experience my dad went through at this establishment was terrible. One of the technicians had the audacity to call my father a "faggot" over the phone. My dad was upset while talking to David, understandably so, but you still shouldnt call a cutsomer any insults. This is extremely unprofessional, because we took are phone there and they called it "unservicable". So we took the phone over to Cellpros and they fixed it. Great place to get your iPad or iphone fixed! I cracked my screen on my iPad Air 2 and was quoted for $219.00 and the associate misquoted and said it would be more than that - closed to $300! But the manager stepped in and said since that was the original quote (even if it was a mistake) they would honor it! Simply amazing customer service! Turns out my iPad wasn't even cracked and it was only my screen protector (thank goodness!) and I ended up getting refunded the difference for a new screen protector. Saw this place when I was doing some grocery shopping at Trader Joe's. My android bionic was acting up and i was getting a lot of fuzzy sounds through the head piece. I took my phone in to screenworks and was greeted by a very pretty asian lady. she walked me through the entire process and promised to have my phone brought back to its pristine condition within 3 business days. their tech, albert, contacted me after 2 business days to inform me my phone was repaired and ready for pick up. my phone no longer has fuzzy sounds coming from the headset. their service was top notch and i couldnt ask for more. read more

I was in the area meeting a friend at the Starbucks next door and I had some time to spare because my friend was running late. So I decided to stop by Screenworks out of curiosity and saw that they do screen repairs. I had a small crack on my Samsung galaxy S5 screen which wasn't really serious but ask what they could do. The staff took his time and explained to me all my options and I decided to get my screen fixed. I took my iPhone 4S to a local repair store in Fresno due to water damage but they couldn't fix it. However, when I found screenworks on yelp, I just took my phone in to see if they can repair it regardless what the other shop told me. I spoke to Albert (very friendly and professional) who was the manager at screenworks. His tech repaired my phone in 50 mins and gave me a free screen protector. I have been to Screenworks many times over the last few months. Once for a broken screen, waterlogged phone, once to buy charger cords for old I-electronics we have, and once to have them apply a tempered glass protective screen (which I purchased elsewhere and they applied for no cost!). I have dealt with different employees every time, and they have always been very knowledgeable, courteous, fast and efficient. The repairs they made to my phone worked well and continue to do so. I went and asked several phone repair stores for a quote on my water-damaged Samsung S4 phone. Screenworks offered me a pretty low quote with the 20$ coupon. So I had to go for it. I was little worried about if they could expertly fix it. but when I got my phone back I was very impressed! I opened all apps and played games. Everything works perfect! Unfortunately, I have had to use their screen replacement services on several phones in my family, the most recent being this past week. I stopped in asking if they had my screen, which not many places do, and they did. By the time I was done shopping at Costco, it was completed and ready for pick up. ScreenWorks isn't always the cheapest, but their quality, customer service and convenience overcomes any slighter prices. I am hoping that I won't need them anytime soon, but if I do, I have the confidence that it will be done correctly. read more

Great service! I've had them replace batteries in different iphones a total of 4 times over a couple of years. On my most current visit, one of our iPhones would not charge when it was plugged in. They found what was wrong and replaced the charging port. They even charge the battery before returning it to me. To top it off, they didn't even charge me any fee, saying it's because we've used them regularly. Needless to say, we will definitely continue to bring our phones there for repairs.
