I went to Best Buy in Clovis, California in person to buy a new cell phone-it was March 17, 2026. They didn't have the model I wanted in stock so the sales person ordered it for me. I paid $592.35 for the phone and the data transfer. By the time it arrived, I was feeling ill. I still had about a week before the deadline (March 31, 2026) to pick it up. I was admitted unexpectedly to the hospital on March 27, 2026. By March 29, I realized I was going to stay in the hospital past the Best Buy deadline. I called to request the courtesy of an extension. I explained my unexpected hospitalization, but they said NO. They were prompt in issuing a refund but it was $39.99 less than what I paid. I saw that the $39.99 was the charge for the data transfer. I was shocked!! I wrote to the manager to get an explanation about the $39.99. The manager never replied. I looked up reviews on Best Buy and was aghast at the way Best Buy has treated so many customers. Because I am still ill, I am not going to pursue justice. If they don't need my almost $600, then I will take my business elsewhere now and in the future. read more

Mind you the store opens at 10 Am I Arrived At 10:08 to do my pickup, begin the whole process just to be told that they don't have any in stock! I wouldn't be upset if this product was just readily available but it's not and on top of that it's release day not even 15 minutes after you open so where could it possibly have went ? We bought an in wall oven from here mid-December 2024. The price was good and we were told it would be delivered to the store 12/24. On 12/24 we were told it would be delivered 12/26. On 12/26 they told us 12/29. On 12/29 still no oven, no text, no email as promised. Each time we expected delivery my husband had to call for update. Same ol story... blah blah blah! I like the fact that when I shop online for pick up this location usually has the items in stock compared to the Fresno location. The staff is friendly. Ordered a canon lens on the app and my order was ready in an hour. Curbside pick is available and the email confirmation easily explains the process. I went and picked up my order and decided to look at the phone selection, I was alittle disappointed that the phone display was incomplete/missing. Came in looking to buy a 35in TV. We had to wait in a short line, kind of expected, but were told if we needed assistance we needed to come back to the door and put our name on a list? We saw an add we liked and had driven out to buy it. We couldn't find it despite our best efforts.. many of the widely dispersed TV displays had no price listed. After searching and failing on our own, the hubs went back and put our name on the list. Eventually, a guy asked if we were OK and we explained it would be helpful if the tv displays had prices. The guy sighed and agreed. He said they had a lot of new people with other priorities. He did show us how to scan the barcode into the app to get the price. Finally, our helper approached and asked how they could help. We showed her the add and she verified that there was 1 in the store and set about to find it. After an arduous search in her part it was decided that the 1 listed in the store must be an inventory glitch. Over one and a half hours we spent in that store. Now, it has to be said that this store was roughly the same temperature as the first ring of hell. I have anxiety and its exacerbated by heat (I'm heat intolerant) so by this point with everything,, I was just done. So..no TV. The people were nice.. the layout, lack of pricing signage, and attempt at roasting us alive was enough for me to knock down some stars. read more

I called apple and they tried remotely to help but ended up scheduling me to go to the geek squad. the I phone needed to be connected to a laptop- which I did not have with me but the geek squad could use their laptop. Awful customer service, sales reps will say anything to make a sale and go on about stuff they know nothing about. Placed a same day pickup order and was told over the phone I would be able to get my Ipad, Apple Pencil, and Case an hour after it was paid and processed. I waited 5 hours after to pick up my order all for them to say my payment was still "pending", when over the phone the rep selling me the items had confirmed the payment went through. I showed proof that payment was pulled via my bank account and even my order confirmation, and the incompetent lady behind the desk couldn't even go to the back to pull the items either saying I would have to now wait until tomorrow unless I would like to repurchase another 600 dollars worth of items and get them in store. I travel for work and only had placed the order under the pretenses I would be able to pick it up same day, after 30 mins of them running around doing nothing I finally just had them refund the whole order. Save your money, time , and peace of mind and shop at Target or Walmart where atleast they have same day pick up :) read more

Can't say that this place is bad or overly great, but the most recent reviews seem to be mainly about the customer service of the employees here. I can gladly say I guess something has changed! I've been approached in every department I visited today, which is awesome. The employees that helped me out today were in the appliance and mobile department. Other than that, AP was very welcoming. Other than the employees itself, the products in the store seem very limited, possibly due to store size. I was able to find what I needed and got out in under 15-20 minutes. Visited on a Wednesday morning, so it wasn't so packed nor were there any lines. Good experience at this location, keep it up guys! read more

Thank you for your amazing customer service. I placed an online order for pickup and your staff prepared it within 15 minutes and I was able to pick it up 30 minutes before closing. The young lady who greeted me at the door could tell I was in a rush and helped me pickup my order. Once I was home I realized I ordered the wrong item (cable modem instead of wireless ‍). The return process was so easy. I was able to package the item and FedEx picked it up the next morning. I received my refund within a few days. DO NOT buy Microsoft software from Best Buy. I bought a laptop from this location along with Microsoft Business program, which was about $150. They give you a Key to download it online. A couple days later when I tried to install the program, I was informed that the key was activated already. Wtf... I triple checked the key code and same results. I went back to Best Buy and they told me to contact Microsoft. I contacted Microsoft and they told me to contact Best Buy as that's where I purchased it from. So I'm out $150, and got pushed around by Best Buy and Microsoft, wasting a whole day trying to resolve this. Next time you want to buy a program that requires a key code from Best Buy, reconsider it. Take my word from first-hand experience. read more

After just leaving Oil Changers in Clovis where I had one of the best customer service experiences ever, I entered Best Buy, where I had one of the worst ever. After my 10" tablet had seen better days, we decided to go to Best Buy to check out their stock instead of waiting two days to receive one from Amazon Prime. We found a cheaper one on sale (Best Buy model). The reviews were not fabulous but for the price point, they were acceptable. Since none of the boxes were out, we asked Chris if they had any in the back. He checked and came back with a box. We then proceeded to checkout. This is where the problem really started. As we tried to check out, we saw that the price was much higher than the listed price. When we protested, we were told that Chris should not have given us the box because it was not supposed to be on the sales floor due to it being a newer model of the exact same one on the floor (nothing had changed except one number under the SKU). When we asked to see the manager (the taller guy in the pic we attached), he refused to honor the sales price, despite the fact that his sales person is the one who gave it to us when we asked for the one on sale. When he saw me taking a pic and looking at Best Buy reviews for this store (which are horrible), he informed us that we were recording (we were not) and that he was not going to talk with us.
