It's very spacious and has an older kind of setting. They also offer a lot of outdoor seating. Nice decorum. It''s also located downtown so you can just walk to the park or sit in front of the waterfall if you don't wanna dine in. Food [5/5]: I got the cuban tacos and they were extremely delicious I'd come back for these again. Their entire menu sounds delicious to be honest so I'd like to try more things from there. But the tacos were very filling and the potatoes on the side were a great add on. The wrap itself was sweet and tasty. Service [5/5]: There was a lot of college kids in there and they're honestly running it well. The adults are probably in the kitchen but they're very friendly and I had the woman with the sleeve tattoo as my server and she recommended the cuban tacos. Fast and friendly service is always great I was in there for no longer than 30 minutes. Loved it. Overall I'd recommend! Theres no parking since it's downtown so you'll have to hope you can find street parking or park your car somewhere else and walk like I did. But it's in a great location! great food! and even greater service! I loved it!

For example, having a sign that points to the dining room asking for customers to seat themselves feels too impersonal, and again this is where the restaurant's layout and extra space works against them. Scratch Baking is our neighborhood bakery, and in addition to our love of visiting them frequently for breakfast pizza, and their offerings at the weekly farmer's market, we loved having their desserts at our wedding. My husband and I were married at the New Haven Lawn Club in June 2017 and couldn't imagine using anyone else for our dessert needs. We didn't want to opt for the traditional wedding cake, so we ordered ten different bite-sized desserts and an apple crumb pie for our 'pie cutting.' Our guests LOVED the dessert options, and we couldn't be happier. Leslie and her team take such care in their craft, and even brought back an item they stocked during Easter for us, just because we needed it at the wedding (the carrot cake cookie is so good!). What's more, being Milford residents ourselves, we felt great supporting a local business - and one that blows away the competition! read more

I think it really takes a well rounded small business to do alot of things well. I have found that in this business. I have been a patron since they first opened when I worked in Milford. It was just a chance finding as we were going to the train station and saw the sign. Having tried everything from pastries to bread to pizza, I havent had a bad snack yet. Their evolution into multiple baked products as well as Creme Brulee and flourless cake speak to the quality of what they do. I now work in Middletown Ct, and travel the country. Their pasteries come with me to PA, IL, MI and Kentucky and my customers always have rave reviews as well. read more

I love Scratch! Their baked goods are almost as sweet as everyone that works there! Scratch's deserts isn't the only thing that keeps me coming back though. My personal favorite is their AMAZING breakfast pizza. They have a variety for anyone willing to give it a try! Usually pizza is pizza to me but not in this case. Add their delicious coffee to the mix and you got yourself a great day ahead of you. This tiny shop has evolved into the premier bakery in Milford, the owner Lesli and her staff are incredible. All their products are superb, but I really am a sucker for the ciabatta bread, so light on the inside with a nice crunchy crust. If you are traveling on the I-95 or Merritt Parkway, stop in you will not be disappointed....also this time of the year they have a Saturday Farmers Market in their parking lot. read more

My husband is in love with their monkey bread and I think their scones and muffins are to die for!
