Our food came out SO FAST! I ordered my bacon "crispy like a cracker, it's ok if it's burnt" and it literally came out so perfectly! Most places still end up sending out floppy bacon, but not this Scramblers! PERFECTION. My spinach portobello mushroom omelette was good, could have used a tad more spinach, but still good. I'm going to give this place a 5, right out of the gate for great food, great service, cleanliness, good price, etc. I did a search for nearby restaurants while leaving Lancaster and this place came up. The photos looked interesting, reminding me of Bob Evans, whose scrambles I really like. Not having ever visited or talked to someone that's been here, I decided to take a chance. The moment I walked in I was promptly and energetically greeted. Base hit. I requested a spot by the window (so I could take my food photos in good natural lighting, being midday). He kindly escorted me there and said someone would be with me in a moment. I don't think he was away for 30 seconds before my server approached me with a bright smile and great attitude. Another base hit! For some reason, I my eyes went straight to the scrambler, since I always order the larger sized platters in restaurants. It looked huge and had all of the right ingredients (Your egg of choice, bacon, ham, sausage, onions and a blend of Monteray Jack and Pepper cheeses.) She asked me if I wanted gravy, which she recommended since it rested on a bed of cubed potatoes. I accepted her proposal (didn't know it cost $2 more, but I could have seen it if I had looked at the menu - still, I think they should let inform you if they suggest it - no biggie though) I selected the scrambled eggs and 'white' as my complimentary bread. The meal arrived in decent time and I was shocked at how huge it was. I mean, they were generous with the serving size, surrounded by 4 half-slices of thick, buttery bread. Bases loaded! This food was DELICIOUS! Well-designed and beautiful in presentation (see the photo)!!! The cheese was (still) melting perfectly, resulting in a pizza-style cheese pull with every fork bite. The ham had a nice tender chew, the bacon was plentiful & incredibly crispy and the sausage had a great flavor with a noticeably great aftertaste. Since I noticed that they had meals with chorizo (an awesome Mexican sausage that goes great on a tortilla with scrambled eggs), I asked if it could be added in addition to the regular sausage. She said that it could, with no problem. It added the perfect flavor to the blend. GRAND SLAM, BABY!! Ok, here's the fun part (you all know me): I actually asked for a carryout container after eating only half of my meal! It was truly filling and, to be honest, I had to be careful. Not including the chorizo, the meal had 2,300 grams mg of sodium, which I have to watch. Don't let that affect your judgement. Just keeping it real here. I wasn't full, but I know I didn't need to eat that much in one sitting. In their defense, they do have dietary menus, which include gluten-free and vegetarian items, so everyone is covered! Me, I'm a vicious carnivore and need my "meat and potatoes", literally. Even though I should eat as I used to when I was young and skinny, I still follow my fathers' philosophy: "If you're going to Hell, make sure she's WORTH it!" That being said, PILE ON THE CHORIZO! I see that this place has an email club and I just signed up, which will grant me a free meal with the purchase of one, during a future visit. Nice little local diner chain we stopped into. Very bright and cheerful, cozy at the same time. Service was great, food came out veryyy fast. Over all, it was ok. Avocado toast was blandish, underwhelming, no flavor. Side of hash browns were great. The other dishes seemed lacking flavor, small meat portions. The pancakes however.. no need to go anywhere else. Pancakes might be perfect here, god damn they were good. Tasted amazing and cooked with just a little crisp on the edges.. take note other places, this is what we want! Came here with a huge group of 11 while visiting from out of town. We called ahead to let them know and they were able to set up a table for us at 10am. Service was great and attentive. Despite the busy place the food was out quick. Huge menu with lots of stuff that looked good. Family who live in the area said they haven't had anything they didn't like. I ordered the Big Country which is biscuits, hash-browns, and eggs, smothered in sausage gravy. I didn't think anything of it, but the waitress was like, "That's what you are ordering?" I think she was thinking it was what my husband was ordering. When the food came out it was clear why she said that. The portion was HUGE. Tasty, but at the end of the meal it looked like I had hardly eaten anything! Very yummy though. Next time though I think I would order a skillet and just order a side of gravy. I preferred the taste of the potatoes in my husbands skillet over the taste of the hash-browns. Still good though. My husband cleaned his plate. He loved his skillet! This is a full-service breakfast and lunch restaurant. The lobby and tables and restrooms are clean. The service is well-groomed and friendly. I found on every name tag a little bit of information about the server as a conversation starter, which is kind of nice. The menu has a lot of breakfast items but I really find this place a little pricey about $10 a breakfast which is like wow to me but the food is really good, comparable to any other breakfast place I've been. I absolutely love and highly recommend Scrambler Marie's! Though only a breakfast and brunch style restaurant, the servings are good size enough to satisfy any appetite! Local calendars and quarterly magazines normally have Scrambler Marie's coupons. Their coupons are nice for example, buy one meal get the second one for $2 etc. Everything I have ever ordered is served with a smile. Service is pretty good, yet sometimes slow when the restaurant is hopping. My food is always hot and at a good temperature. I try to keep recommending this to others, it amazes me how many people have yet to visit any Scrambler Marie's! Location is key and the location for this is easily accessible and the amount of seating is good at this Lancaster Scrambler Marie's location. This is a family friendly, all ages welcomed restaurant. Again, the customer service is top notch and I hope more people will regularly support Scrambler Marie's. I've been a regular here for months. Staff started to recognize me when I arrive. Always a welcome smile and wave. Breakfast menu is huge and so are the portions. You won't go away hungry. Since the place is bustling on weekend mornings expect the staff to chat less. I'd rather have my coffee quick (which they do) than anything else. It took us a little while to finally stop here to eat, but we've made more than a couple stops here and their scrumptious food and great customer service ensures we'll continue to be repeat customers. The wait staff is always prompt and friendly, giving us fine service. They have a varied selection of breakfast and lunch items... from your basic eggs and bacon to French toast and soup and sandwiches. There are a few things that really impressed me. First, they have very big portions. I always have to take some of the breakfast meal home as I can't finish it in one setting. Secondly, the bread they use to make toast is out of this world. I enjoy the wheat toast. It's thick-cut with a wonderful flavor. Never had toast anywhere like the toast they serve here. It's pretty good when used on their sandwiches, too! The skin on potatoes are fully cooked with a great flavor. Very good sausage gravy, too... for biscuits and/or potatoes. I've noticed that they have a meeting-type room that you can reserve. Keep that in mind if you're ever in need of such accommodations. Scrambler Marie's is definitely worth the trip. They close at 3 pm most days if my memory serves me correctly, so don't plan a trip there for supper. :) Price is reasonable, depending on what you order. Adding on your drinks, your deserts, etc can get a little pricey, but the overall menu selections are reasonable. read more

We used to go to Marie Scramblers when we lived in Reynoldsburg/Pickerington area and it was pretty good. I've been to the Lancaster location now a few times and it just isn't as good. Every time i go I ask for extra crispy hash browns and every time they come out barely cooked. They almost seem steamed. Also, their iced tea is just odd. Tastes flowery, like some sort of hibiscus or fancy tea. It's iced tea in Lancaster Ohio. If you are going to serve tea that isn't just regular tea, perhaps you should tell the people ordering it that it isn't regular tea. Oh, and why when even though it's early and there are plenty of seats open in the restaurant, do they insist on seating people in the booths next to the toilets? So we get there and I jokingly say to my wife, "Hope we don't get the toilet seats". Not joking, that's where she seats us. So I politely ask, "Can we not sit next to the bathrooms?" She politely defends the cleanliness of the restrooms, and then seats us one booth over, still in their "toilet wing". This was our 4th and final trip to this place. read more

Wow, this was shockingly bad. My husband and I love divey breakfast joints and are used to the not-pristine operations - but we really thought a moderately-sized chain with high Yelp reviews would have a baseline of standards. Not the case! We started with coffee mugs that had dried on food - not the end of the world, but all downhill from there. We had to hold our meal when no water had been dropped off (in spite of being specifically requested); the harried waitress finally just brought us a pitcher of water with a small juice glass (suggesting that the dishwashing flow in the kitchen left no regular clean glasses). We had to request a new napkin, as my husband's had clearly been used and then rolled into silverware. No apologies, just a shrug and a stack of napkins brought to us. It's also been awhile since we've been served burned eggs - not overdone, but burned. Hostess duties seem like they just revolve between servers, so the lobby was frequently filled with folks who would wait five minutes to be greeted and seated, whenever a server could catch a break to seat. Two separate hairs in the hash browns later, we were out of there! We'd chalk to us to being understaffed, undertrained, and poorly managed. read more
