We love the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. We always order the same thing, the 6oz Medium Rare Sirloin Steaks, Baked Potatoes with sour cream and butter, Salad with Ranch dressing and buttered rolls. I love the steaks here!!! Tony loves the Big Ass Bud Drafts they are like 32 oz or bigger!! I usually drink my soda. We are not a fan of the Honey Butter so we always ask for regular butter. This Texas Roadhouse location consistently gets it right time after time. It is our go to steakhouse. We are always warmly greeted. The wait staff is friendly, very attentive, and warm. Some time ago they brought back peanuts using this former favorite by now packaging servings in bags keeping the peanuts fresher and better tasting. Steak preparation is exactly what it should take for a grilled to order steak. Steaks arrive perfectly seasoned and cooked to the right temperature which for me is medium rare. Salads are made from fresh lettuce and there is a wide variety of dressings to choose from. Baked potatoes are roasted to perfection and I like topping mine with butter and sour cream. This place is the best place for a great steak and mushroom gravy. My friend Sharma and I have gone there 3 times and you get the right steak cooked the way you want it. If you're going to Meijer's or Kohl's in Lancaster OHIO and it's 4 o'clock then stop in after shopping or before. Service is friendly and FAST . All hospitality is Texas style (friendly and get it right). I love the ambiance because I have been to a Texan Roadhouse and it's a definite contender! Yummy. We were on the waitlist for Texas Roadhouse at 4:51, told us an hour. we went in at 5:55 and they told us 30 more minutes, and I said no we've been on there for an hour (mind you we're watching a bunch of people going in and getting seated) and y'all told us 6:06 she got an attitude and said "like I said another 30 minutes". This Texas Roadhouse seems to be a well run, well staffed location. My wife and I have visited dozens of times and never come away with a bad meal or unpleasant experience. On my last visit on a Wednesday we arrived close to 5:30 and had a very short wait. Ordered ribs that were fall off the bone. Only slight criticism was I'm not a fan of the sauce. This is by far one of the of the worst managed places I have been. Came in with a group of five which include a child in a wheelchair. Was told it was a 10 minute wait, but 30 minutes later still no seating. When I asked about our table, I was told just 10 more minutes. Still 30 passes and no seating. Groups and groups came in after us and got seated. Hostess staff has no clue what they are doing and got rude when asked about our table. Pretty sorry place. We frequently visit this restaurant and it never disappoints. Started with the blooming onion. Came out hot and crispy. The dipping sauce had a slight kick to it this time. I ordered a loaded baked potato, 10oz Ribeye and a side salad. The rolls came out fresh and moist and pairs nicely with the cinnamon sugar butter. Favorite part of the salad is the homemade croutons. My steak arrived, well done. I had ordered medium rare. So I sent my steak back and it took about 15 minutes to arrive so I was not able to eat with my family. My friend and I had a great experience here for lunch on Friday. I am surprised they don't serve lunch Sunday-Thursday. Anyway, service was excellent and choices were ample. For the first time last night at 6:00 PM, I ate at roadhouse and was disappointed with the food! The snake bite appetizers have changed. They deflate when you touch them and list the spicy kick. The cheese on the tater skins was like a single piece of rubber you could lift right off and worst of all, my Fort Worth Robert was bland. Not hand rubbed with seasoning, I had to add salt and pepper. As a result, it was also tough and chewy! Roadhouse is very busy because you can always get a good steak there, but if this is the future, they will go down fast. Seasoning before cooking breaks down fast and tenderizes the steak. This place was PACKED! We had a 45 min wait to be seated. I admit I'm a little bothered by the peanut shells. I know they are part of the atmosphere but when we got to our table my seat had a large pile of shells right in front of my chair. I personally think they should at least sweep under the table or maybe just if it's a lot. I found it a little gross to hang out with the previous diner's peanut remnants. The food was good. I am usually a fan of steakhouses... oddly enough, I like the chains. Although, historically I have been disppointed with Texas, this visit proved different. We had a party of 5, and everyone was happy with their order. We had the sirloin, steakhouse filet salad, grilled bbq chicken and ribeye, and grilled pork chops. The only complaint that I personally have is that they don't have a full meal to accomodate vegetarians, just a combination of sides. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant because of multiple reasons. First the bathrooms were filthy. Then my husband had a ribeye and it was so dry and cold. Our grandson had a steak and it was so dry he wouldn't eat it. My green beans had no flavor and my loaded sweet potato had only marshmallow's, no cinnamon or butter. The waitress forgot our drinks that we had asked for another refill. The blooming onion they didn't take the outer skin off of the onion. We were pulling the peel off. This is our go to for a good cheap steak and all the trimmings. You can certainly spend more than we usually do, but it's still not fancy steak. The other menu items (ribs, chops chicken) are quite good, although we usually stick with steaks. The fresh rolls, salads and baked potatoes with butter and sour cream are simply well prepared and always to the same good quality. The steaks always seem to come out perfectly as we order them. We are medium rare folks, and I have never had to send a steak back. My real reason for the review was to commend the quality of organization in these times of Corona virus carry out. I did an online order, paid in advance and asked for a specific time. When we got to the parking lot a gentleman checked on the name our order was in. We were on the list, so he used a walkie-talkie to let the server know we were there, and then directed us to a specific parking space (I believe we were A4.) and told us to wait there. It took about five minutes for our server (don't forget to tip!) to deliver our order to our car. All the employees were wearing appropriate masks, as were we. I would remind us all that, as uncomfortable as it is, masks need to cover your nose, too. Our order was perfect and still warm after the 15 minutes it took us to get home. The service is always on point and food is served quick, right, hot, and delicious. We love the fact that you can get a 6 or 8 oz sirloin with a baked potato and a side salad for 11.99 or 13.99 and that's one of many reasons why this place is packed all the time from 5pmish till 9pm.
