Stopped in for family dinner. The place was not too crowded, but steady. Our server was right over and very attentive. She brought us our drinks and we ordered the Wild West Shrimp as an appetizer. The shrimp were amazing. They had a great flavor and the pepper pieces served with it was a great addition. I ordered the ribeye steak and was not disappointed. It was cooked perfectly and had tons of flavor. Overall a solid choice!

First dinner while on Heath, had to go back to Longhorn Steakhouse as their food was exceptional last time. Salad was nice and crisp, bread was wonderful as before. Service was cheerful, knowledgable and prompt. Main course: did a combination plate this time, parmesan chicken, shrimp, asparagus and rice. Shrimp was cooked PERFECTLY!! OMG, juicy, tender, flavorful...yum! Chicken was as juicy as I remembered. Melty cheese. Tender... Yum!! The only reason for less than 5: asparagus wasnt properly trimmed thus stringy at bottom..and it felt like the only seasoning it saw was the grill. When I go out for dinner I really dont feel like digging strings out of my teeth. And rice was a little under and bland compared to the amazingly seasong main dishes. Overall, still a place I highly recommend:-)

Ok, so our last experience sucked. At least that time we got food, this time we waited an hour and 20 min, and never got our food. We left and got to a Mexican restaurant and they had dos xx, it's all good it's just very apparent that you all can't handle the 50% load that our idiot gov has you on.

Kobe Steak Melt Breaded steak, with Swiss(?) cheese topped with breaded onions on a bun. Too much bread!

No stars today. Was told up to 30 minute wait for a party of 5. Still waiting an hour later. Manager didn't care and was rude.

Based on several other reviews, I was a bit worried at first about what was to be expected with speed and quality of service. Our server, a young lady, was excellent, and helpful with making our choices. Her manager or chef seemed like a man possessed running around the floor to assist his staff at the time and did stop by once to check in with us. As far as menu changes or decor from a recent refresh, I have no basis of comparison so couldn't care less about that. We were starving so we opted for recommendations from our server spanning all over the menu. We had everything from cheese curds and bang bang shrimp to the Reuben and patty melt, to a filet mignon with loaded baked potato as a side. In retrospect, kicking ourselves now since nobody in our party got any seafood outside of the shrimp appetizer. Doubtful we will be back east of Columbus for a while so I have no idea when we'd realistically get to try the Salmon BLT or seafood pasta. Unfortunately nobody snagged photos of the food since we were famished and it wasn't a priority. I don't eat sweets, but was told the Key Lime Pie and Banana Fosters were well worth saving room for. If you're like me, I'd opt for the OG Dockside Old Fashioned instead.

We were seated behind a barrier, and after dropping off our entrees, our server disappeared. My husband realized that he hadn't been served any condiments with his fish & chips -- no tartar sauce, lemon, vinegar or ketchup, nor slaw. He waited a few minutes to dig in, figuring someone would pop around the corner and we'd catch their eye, or our own server would return to check on us. Nope. Meanwhile, hubby had tasted a few fries, which were barely warm and a bit flabby. He started to eat his fish, sans tartar, and said it was ok, but not super hot. Fish and chips out to come out of the fryer so fresh and hot that you need to wait a few minutes to eat it so you don't burn your mouth -- but not here. This food had been sitting around a while. A few other servers had checked on tables nearish to ours, but didn't give us so much as a glance, and didn't hear our loud "Excuse me!"s. We weren't thrilled at the prospect of having to get up and go to the bar or hostess station to get help. But because both our meals had become unenjoyable thanks to waiting over ten minutes for someone to happen by, I decided I'd go seek assistance. But just then, our server happened by. We flagged her down and asked for all the things that were missing. She glanced at my husband's still pretty full plate and her eyes popped a bit, clearly realizing that the sitch was not pleasing to us. She brought the missing condiments, but damage done at that point. It had been a little exhausting waiting around and keeping our eyes peeled for a passing server. The restaurant should make it more of a point to send servers through that lower seating area on the regular. It was a pretty mediocre dinner.

With a party of 17, my husband and I arrived early to secure seating, only to be told we couldn't be seated until our assigned server arrived--despite the fact that she had quit and was still on the schedule. A woman who appeared to be a manager or assistant manager then told us to move from the bar area (where we were told to wait) to the waiting area in front of the restaurant. When I questioned why we couldn't be seated in the meantime, she became visibly irritated, raised her voice, and made the situation uncomfortable, emphasizing that "It is Easter" and she was giving her employees time with their families. With that and her display, we decided to leave, and as we did, she repeatedly said, "Have a nice day!" in a condescending tone. Fortunately, LongHorn Steakhouse in Heath, OH turned our day around. They welcomed us immediately, and the managing partner, Adrienne Schmitt, went above and beyond--having heard about our experience, she even provided complimentary appetizers. The difference was remarkable. Excellent service, great food, and genuine hospitality. Kudos to LongHorn--we'll be back. Texas Roadhouse in Newark, your management team needs to do better.

Whether it's a mid-week dinner or a weekend hangout, they managed to nail the "elevated neighborhood gem" vibe perfectly. The Food The star of the show is undoubtedly the wood-fired pizza. You can taste the authenticity in the crust--perfectly charred with that signature smoky finish you can only get from a real wood oven. The toppings are fresh, and the balance of flavors shows they aren't just making pizza; they're perfecting it. On the lighter (but equally delicious) side, the fish tacos are a standout. It's rare to find a wood-fired joint that treats seafood with this much respect. The fish is always flaky and fresh, complemented by bright, crisp toppings that make for a perfect contrast to the rich, smoky pizzas. The Service What truly sets Elliot's apart, though, is the bar staff. The service here is consistently top-notch. The team is incredibly knowledgeable--whether you're looking for a specific craft beer pairing or a recommendation from their cocktail list, they know the menu inside and out. It's the kind of place where the staff makes you feel like a regular from your very first visit. Final Verdict: Excellent food, a great tap list, and a team that actually knows their stuff. Elliot's is easily a 5-star experience.
