After getting seated, it took several minutes for the server to acknowledge table even though he walked by the table several times. I was irked that he didn't even try to tell us that it was busy and understaffed until arriving to take order at table. The drinks arrived swiftly once we were acknowledged. Not sure why the server had to keep coming back to table to ask questions about it. After several minutes of no food, bread was finally brought to the table. After what felt like forever, the food arrived. The food was very good and there were no complaints about it. Everything tasted fresh. Waiting on the food for over an hour was not worth the trouble. We thought this would be a good place to get food since it was close to hotel and it wasn't. If I stayed in the area again, I wouldn't eat here again and would go somewhere else. read more

Don't sing, "Bob Evans, down on the farm" or it will stick in your head! The restaurant is nice. There is a lovely gift shop with home made banana bread (a popular item) and special dressing that sells out. Our group had a nice time. We were catching up after not seeing each other for a while. The server didn't rush us. Guests can order two slices of the banana bread. It is delicious. The bathrooms direct "Farm Girls & Boys" where to use the restroom. The food is great. Was just there today and although most of the time they get your order right sometimes like today there were a couple mistakes, nothing major just had to take a few things off my chicken sandwich. We arrived at 7:30 pm. Jan 2nd The young man who greeted us was polite and seated us promptly. Our waitress brought my coffee soon after we were seated. The decaf was cold so she graciously quickly brought me a regular coffee that was colder yet - not her fault that someone turned off the coffee maker. We waited over 15 minutes before anyone took our order while a half dozen people stood around bantering. One customer near us finally just walked out. The fish (frozen) was ok but a bit greasy. The has browns were placed under the fish and were greasy. Tartar sauce was good as was the coleslaw. What was most annoying was the constant LOUD and obnoxious back and forth bantering between all of the employees - where was the supervision? We've eaten at three (evening) different Bob Evans with a less than favorable experiences. So sorry but given other choices we will be avoiding Bob Evans for now. Two stars is a stretch... The food today was terrible! I ordered two eggs over easy but one was over medium and the other was over medium. I also ordered grits, any southerner knows you have to have the egg yolk to mix in with the grits. However that was impossible with the yolks being hard. The grits were also very overcooked. Inedible for me. After complaining I was still charged full price. I have photos but I'm not sure how to put them in an edit. Also the gravy the wife ordered was very dark. We walked in about 8 am on June 7, a Saturday morning. There was no one waiting to be seated. As we walked up to the hostess stand, a man came in from the side door. A waitress told him to go to the other side of the wall for a table. He walked in that direction. We walked up to the hostess stand and my husband told her two, holding up his fingers. She grabbed table service and menus and we began walking into the dining area. She walked toward the area "past the wall" and toward a table. The man from earlier was beginning to sit down at that table. The hostess looked confused for a moment and then placed the menus on the table and walked back toward the checkout area. We were left standing there. I thought she was getting more menus for us, but she went behind the counter and appeared to begin working again. We stood there for a few minutes and waited. She showed no indication that she was coming back. They couldn't even seat us and left us standing in the middle of the dining area! We walked out! Wow!!! I really like this location. I'm a teacher but a couple summers ago I worked here over summer break. The kitchen is clean and I eat there no problem after having seen the entire place in the back. A lot of the servers have been there a long time. Though there is a high turn over for cooks. My kid's and I love the chicken noodle soup. read more

Terrible service! We walked in, party of 4, at least 6 waitresses and a manager looked over at us or walked by without saying anything. We weren't even acknowledged or told that it would be a few minutes. It wasn't busy at all. The service was appalling. I worked at a restaurant for years and know that this is a very flawed chain. I go here a lot with my family the food is always good the day shift waiters are so polite and friendly make sure you always got what you need they are on top of it can't say the same for night shift they are rude they act like a bunch of little teenage girls and never get what you need on time I've had to go up to later just to get silverware for sitting there for so long. I offered my compliments to the manager, Angela, as well. I highly recommend this location to all. I wished this location was my hometown so I could enjoy it on a regular basis. We only ordered salad soup and pancakes(not a big meal to make). We clocked out food sit in the window for 15 mins. Pretty average Bob Evans. When the hostess took us to our table it had not yet been cleaned. The hostess apologized and went to get a towel to clean it. Personally, I would prefer to wait at the door than to have to sit there with crumbs and stickiness and watch them clean the table right in front of me. After we ordered, the food took a bit longer to prepare than expected, and the hashbrowns arrived cold. The waitress was friendly and overall the atmosphere is good. I heard a lady at a neighboring table complain to the server about the hashbrowns tasting like they weren't even cooked. The manager came out and took that food off of their bill, and offered to make them breakfast again tomorrow if they wanted to return. The manager was very helpful and really went out of her way to apologize and make them feel like valued customers. So I will say the staff here works hard and is trying- but as far as cleanliness, speed of service, and quality of food, I would say it was pretty average. read more
