I always order the same thing at Roosters. 5 traditional wings hot, chili cheese wedges, celery with blue cheese. For years they have been my favorite wings anywhere. Except here at this Circleville, Ohio location. Usually they are on the edge of undercooked with way too little hot sauce. Today I made my order very clear to the best server I've ever had at this location, Kaylon. Today everything came looking great. The wings were somewhat wet with hot sauce and there was an extra container on the side. Very Sadly the wings were overcooked and the meat dry. The rest was excellent! Even though I was only drinking ice water with lots of ice, Kaylon checked on me often and each visit refilled my drink ( a big plus with me!). The manager "Bree" came around checking on each table. I'd never seen that here! I told her my disappointment with the wings on this and prior visits. She was genuinely interested and concerned. She even made a second trip to my table before I left. Made me feel heard and appreciated!! Kudos to both Kaylon and Bree!! If you've never been Roosters is sports bar casual and family friendly. Lots of off street parking. read more

Went in at 10:30 on a Saturday night, bar seating was full so we asked a waitress where we should sit and she said "anywhere." We sat down within full view of the service station and waited for 15 minutes and nobody waited on us including the waitree who told us to sit anywhere. We left after 15 minutes. Our daughter dropped her sandwich on the floor just after she got it and Kristen made sure we had a new one right away. The fries were crispy and the fried pickles were hot and fresh! I'd first like to say that I absolutely hate writing negative reviews and only do them when absolutely necessary as I always give businesses a couple a tries before leaving a review. If I could give this place 0 stars I would in heart beat. They were almost empty as we walked in maybe 4 small families. We get seated and order our food, while waiting for our food other families were seated and ordered. The families who came in after us all got their appetizers and food before we did. Our waitress was absent minded and inattentive. I finally ask her for our check so we can leave and she gets mad, says she will talk to the manager, honestly at this point I just wanna leave. An HOUR AFTER WE ORDER WE GET OUR FOOD! It's Luke warm at best and is okay I guess I didn't eat it as I was upset and just wanted to leave. This is our 3rd time here and yet again an absolutely appalling experience. I tried to give them chance after chance but to no avail. After all is said and done the manager couldn't be bothered to come talk to us or make things right. Instead we had to pay for a crappy service and Luke warm flavorless food. To add insult to injury as an establishment with a full bar they can't or won't make simple basic bar staples. Our group of 10 was very pleased with all the choices. It was a Friday night so they were busy but our service was very good. Their wings are excellent, meaty juicy light breading good flavor. Had lunch here today with two friends who live in Circleville. Food is good and ambiance is good and what you'd expect. Our server was less than to be desired. I ordered coffee, when it arrived I asked for cream. She said we don't have any, she might be able to find some milk. Then nothing, she never checked on me again or confirmed that in the whole restaurant, at noon, they had NO dairy product for coffee. . I did not drink the coffee. While she offered my other table mates refills on their drinks, she didn't refill my water or apologize or anything about the coffee. Then, she had the nerve to put the coffee on our bill! There are other Rooster locations to choose from that have kinder servers and dairy product for coffee so that's where we'll go in the future! read more

I know a lot of people love Roosters but I have never had a great experience here. This is my 4th time eating here and the service has been terribke every time. To me, the wings are simply deep fried chicken pieces SWIMMING in grease. I get that wings are deep fried but every time I eat them here I feel like I am getting a drink with each bite. Nothing super special. It is Roosters. Met family for a quick meal while they were in town. Went a little different this time. No alcoholic beverages. Both my man and I got half order sized chicken salads and split 5 medium bone in wings. He got the fried chicken salad with ranch dressing. While I opted for the grilled chicken Caesar salad with Caeser dressing, of course. The salads seemed a little small when they arrived, but ended up being the perfect size. With the wings it was exactly right. Not too much food that we had to take some home and not too small that it left you hungry for more food. The other member of our party got a burger and an order of potato skins. Everything looked good and we heard no complaints. My man took one of the potato skins and didn't offer me some or save me some. So it must have been very good. We drive past at least once a month. So we will definitely be back. read more

I ordered my food Curbside service this evening. The only reason I had to was because I was very sick... I ordered at 9:17pm... the girl said 35 minutes... I got there at 9:55pm... our food was ice cold... the cheese wasn't even melted on anything we had ordered... the dumpster fries were ice cold and the shredded cheese looked like they just threw it over a cold bunch of curly fries?! Then when I got there I called the number for curbside pickup and they said they sent everyone home so I had to to come inside?? I was sick and definitely wasn't expecting to have to come in to the restaurant... I had no choice but to go inside... there were 4-5 servers standing around and the bartender was the one who was the busiest... she apologized ... it was absolutely ridiculous to have 4 other servers standing around while the bartender is doing all the work?? The food was actually pretty good but the atmosphere is just bad unless you are a bar fly. It was cold inside, so me and my kids tried to sit outside but everyone outside was smoking. Gross. First thing`s first: I don`t discriminate towards any Rooster`s restaurant. I LOVE THEM ALL. However, this is my hometown one, so I decided to review this one because of my love for Pickaway County. There are no better wings out there than Rooster`s. And that`s about all that I have to say. I crave Rooster`s wings constantly. I`m a big boneless gal, and usually mix medium and bbq to give it a sweet and spicy flavor. The salads are also huge and delicious. It`s difficult to choose one appetizer, but the mac and cheese bites are usually non-negotiable. Try them with ranch for some more flavor. Had the best service tonight! I didn't get the girls name but I picked up a to go order and she made my night! I thought I had ordered the grilled fingers but I had ordered them fried. I asked the girl if I could switch them for a grilled order and she was so nice about it! I saved my weight watchers daily points for this and the fried ones were over my daily value! But the sweet girl fixed my oops and even walked them outside to my car-without knowing where I had parked! New GM Rachel apparently put a new rule that you are not allowed to have more than 4 drafts. I had a pregnant DD to drive home too. I tried to order another draft beer and the waitress told me I was not allowed to order another beer. I was told the new GM changed the rules and guest are no longer to order more than 4 beers. I stopped at this restaurant after a long day of travel. It was convenient to my hotel that was right across the street within walking distance. We came in on a Saturday night and the restaurant seemed really busy, however we were able to get a seat right away. This seemed to be a seat yourself restaurant. Our waitress was named Jordan and she was very nice and friendly. She came to the table promptly and was attentive. Everything at this restaurant seemed to be charged as separate prices. We ordered Nachos and cheese. They were good but they only give you a handful of chips and then want to charge you for extra chips. I ordered grilled chicken strips lightly seasoned and then had to order the fries separate. The grilled chicken was good and the fries were very good as well. My other two guest ordered I believe it was the fried chicken salad and it was huge. They said that it tasted fresh. My other guest ordered the quarter pounder and it looked good and they said that it was good and cooked the way they ordered. All in all I thought everything was good. The restaurant was a bit crowded as in the seats seemed close together. There were plenty of tvs with the sports playing. If i'm in town I would probably eat here again. read more

As someone from out of town, I had never heard of Roosters. They advertise themselves as a sports bar with "famous" wings. I had to ask them to put the WORLD SERIES on. What kind of sports bar is that? After asking the bartender was rude and took 5 minutes to put it on. For the rest of the time I was there I was essentially ignored by staff. I came in here with my mother one night and we sat ourselves as they have always told us to do. Somebody came over and asked if we had waited for our seat. We appeared very confused and she just said, "never mind." and walked away. Thirty seconds after that, another server arrives at our tables and told us that there was a wait for the tables. We were a little confused and couldn't hear or really understand what she was trying to tell us. She then got very aggravated and huffed out, "Do I need to get the manager? Because people have been waiting for hours." I'm not claiming we were in the right for accidentally seating ourselves. (Even though there is no hostess stand, nor an employee handing out the buzzers.) But there were at least four empty tables and five dirty, unbussed tables. There also only appeared to be two families waiting to be seated, so I really don't know what people were waiting "hours" for. I felt so insulted by the way the servers had treated my mother and I. I was really amazed on how terribly they treated people that are supposed to be guests over a simple misunderstanding on our end. Though, this isn't the first or only time I've received unsatisfactory service here. The food has severely lost its Rooster's quality over the course of being in Circleville.
