If I could give 0 stars I would. To start we made a reservation for a 20 person party a full 24hrs in advance. (We usually tip extremely well, we will not be this time) Staff: The staff are rude, snobbish, arrogant, and absolute dunces. Our waitress took all the orders and forgot to put 3 of them in until everyone else has finished all their food which is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. When asked about she said "oh I forgot". We have been here over and hour and a half. Most have had their food except for 3 children who were very hungry and quite upset. We had to flag down 2 different servers to get refills for our drinks and that took 20min. Our order: We ordered 6 different pizzas, 1 set of wings, 2 salads, 3 subs, and 4 pastas. The pizzas were bland and tasteless. The cheese on the pizzas were burnt and tasted way off. The pasta was overcooked. Needless to say the food was absolutely not worth it Experience: Absolutely appalling experience! We will NEVER return here and I recommend everyone to steer clear of this location as this was the worst experience and service I've ever delt with. Second visit. Late lunch for pizza. Medium pep, sausage, mushroom. The crust is thin cracker like crispy just sturdy enough to let you pick up the squares it's cut into. The service was prompt, attentive, accurate and pleasant. It's a bit of a maze entering to a dining area. All in all it's a good casual pizza place. Tonight was our first time visiting this establishment, as we were looking for something new to try. Before heading into town, we checked the hours online, which stated the restaurant was open until 11:00pm. We arrived and walked in at 10:25pm. After waiting at the hostess stand for about three minutes, a woman briefly appeared and told us they didn't have the "willpower" to take on any more customers for the night. We walked out. This place was surprisingly crowded at 2pm, and felt slightly chaotic with the Seat Yourself approach and most tables either full or recently vacated and not yet cleaned. We found a booth, waited a bit for a server, but made good use of the wait time by looking up the menu online. They were obviously a bit short-staffed for the crowd that day, but our waitress was very friendly and calm and kept our drinks filled and reassured us our pizza was coming soon. We shared a salad which came with a generous portion of shredded mozzarella cheese, and then devoured our Hawaiian pizza. We went out with another couple for dinner the other night, and they drove us here. (No pics, but check them out on here for an idea). We had Mozzarella Sticks with dipping sauce, which was great. I got a Pepp, Grn Pepper & Bl Olive Calzone with the dipping sauce. Nice, big size. A little drippy/greasy, I guess from the Pepp, but otherwise good. Flaky crust, well filled & decent taste. My fiance got the BBQ Chicken Pizza with Cauliflower crust in a 10" size. She loved it, but I'd had better BBQ Chicken. Service was okay. Our waitress was kinda unattentive. Came here after we found out Christy's doesn't have seating. People were friendly. I got the make your own calzone. I asked if the mushrooms were fresh or canned. I whipped the truck into the parking lot to secure 2 large pepperoni pizzas on our way home. The staff greeted me when I entered the restaurant and they had the pregame coverage on. Pizza cottage has great food. Pizza is made on a thin crust that comes out crispy. Our usual order is a large pepperoni and cheese pizza. When it arrives at our table, we usually toss on some grated parmesan. The sauce is not sweet. It has good flavor with just the right balance of seasonings. The pepperoni crisps up nicely when it is baked in the oven and the cheese is nice and gooey. I have also tried the salads and calzones, both delicious. They serve Pepsi products. They have a large dining room and a separate bar area and special event rooms for groups. This location has an outdoor patio, as well. It is easy to find, right off 23. Reasonably priced food and a great variety of pizzas, salads, and other dinner items. Great service, too. read more

For starters, I'm a big Pizza Cottage fan. There was a time in my life where I ate there nearly everyday. I would get off of work and just crave a big, juicy, meaty, squishy pizza. I'm a native Lancasterian and frequently visit that location. However, the Circleville location is beyond disappointing. I went in one day after my very tedious 9-5 and was beyond heart broken to see what was on my big, juicy, meaty pizza. There is was a lad with long hair who served me this time. They neglected to cut any of the meat on my pizza. When I requested this change the lad simply said, "suck it up, buttercup." I mean, goodness! That was so rude! So, I ended up sitting my little Kia knawing on the big slabs of meat, dreading going home to the husband and child. Pizza Cottage was once my escape, oasis if you will, but now.... Only giving a two star rating due to the cleanliness of the location. The service was great and the food was good. When you arrive in the parking lot, you are greeted with trash everywhere. The only trash can they have is overflowing and not clean. Cigarette butts, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, paper, etc was everywhere. This has clearly been going on for a while as I picked up a lot of the trash myself and could see it had been there a while. It looks like no one cares about the exterior of the business and just lets the trash wash away into the drainage areas near the road. Disappointing. read more

I love pizza cottage. This review is based solely on the food since I haven't dined in. I can say that the inside of the restaurant is spacious and appears clean. They also have a drive up window for carry out. Now onto the food, the baked potato pizza is really good. It has all the toppings you would expect from a loaded potato and plenty of them. It comes with a side of sour cream which for me was an unexpectedly delicious addition. Their regular pizza is good as well, again, you get your money's worth on toppings. The standard crust is thin and perfectly crisp at the edges, not chewy. It has to be said that a large pizza might feed 3 moderately hungry people, 2 extra hungry people. If you have a family do everyone a favor and just get two. read more

This was our first and last visit. Upon walking into the building I noted it smelled like cheap frozen pizza but my kids wanted to try it so I went against my better judgement. We ordered sweet tea, a large pizza and a spaghetti with salad and garlic bread. The tea came and my kids made a face. I thought they were exaggerating until I tried it. It tasted like floor cleaner. Definitely not brewed. It was from a fountain and absolutely nasty. So we traded that in for something else. My salad, spaghetti, and garlic bread all came before the pizza. My 3 children were left watching me eat for more than 5 minutes before they received their food. The spaghetti had a puddle of water on the plate. The garlic bread tastes freezer burnt. Then the pizza came, a round slab of flavorless cardboard piled high with a gallon of grease. I don't think this might actually be the worst food I've ever had and even arcade & bowling alley pizza beats this by a mile. Called a $75 order in at 11am when they opened. Lunch break for our office is from 12-12:30. called Pizza cottage at 12:02 to see where our order was. Spoke with Nate, whom said they were running behind, but that our order was ready at 11:40 and that a door dash had just picked the order up and it would be delivered by 12:20. When asked why it would be so long considering we were located 7 minutes away from Pizza Cottage he said that was just the time it would be. waited until 12:25 our order still had not arrived. Called back and spoke with a female this time whom had No knowledge of our order and put us on hold. After waiting on hold for another 5 minutes the female came back on the line and stated that the order had been picked up 5 minutes ago and was on its way. When questioned why Nate stated 30 minutes earlier that it was picked up and on its way, we were placed back on hold. Nate comes on the phone again and states that it was on its way, but he didn't know where it was, but that it was with the door dash driver. When we asked for the door dashers name and number he repeated my number back to me. I then state no, that's my phone number he replies that this is the number that the door dasher gave. We asked for our money back and ended the call. At 12:47 an elderly door dasher showed up with our order that stated she was there waiting for our order for 20 minutes because they told her they had forgotten to make part of our order. She heard the phone calls between us as she stood there. A little bit of honesty about what was going on with our order would've been nice. Almost 2 hours for 3 subs, 2-7inch pizzas and an order of fries. By the time the food arrived our lunch break was over and we could not eat. read more

And when the pizza finally made it to our table, half of it was burnt. They replaced the burnt part with a 12inch. The manager never spoke with us. After I complained about the pizza our waitress completely avoided us for the rest of our visit. I had to track her down to get the check. And no sort of discount was offered to us. I give the Circleville Pizza Cottage no stars. My husband and went for pizza and waited almost a hour for it when it finally arrived it was Cold. First we questioned why the table behind us got there's before we did since they arrived about a half an hour later than we did. When we told the waitress our food was cold she ask if we wanted it warmed up? We told her no we were going to pay for our drinks and leave. We followed her to the front to pay and overheard her say she thought we just wanted free Pizza. Not the case we left it set. No more business from this family.
