The majority of the food is INSANELY good. Super Sampler - The poppers are perfect. The onion rings have a wonderful sweet flavor to them. The potato skins are decent but could use more cheese loaded on them. The chicken strips have a decent flavor through them as well. Boneless Chicken Wings - The chicken wings themselves without sauce could use some work. The Carroll Gold is delicious. The Homemade BBQ is delicious with a little bit of "pepper" spice to it, a little more on the sour side. "The Big One" burger - HOLY COW! The thousand island is a perfect sweet for the burger. The burger meat is killer! The toasted bun adds to it if you prefer a toasted bun, I would prefer it without toasted. The service is definitely a bit slow. However, when we came, there was only one waitress and whoever cooking in the back. For that, I lower to a 4 star. The environment is more of a dive but it's a decent place to relax and enjoy. Alcohol - Tequila Sunrise was very flavorful. Long Island was made VERY strong, too strong. Overall if you really only care about the food, this place is INCREDIBLE!

We were told that this place has amazing burgers with a super low key, local bar feel. So of course we had to check it out for ourselves. Being from a small town that had a local town pub with great food, this place felt homey to me. Loved the feel of the place. Small town local bar where their slogan is "Enter as strangers. Leave as friends" and we absolutely felt that. No frills, old school menus, filled with delicious and very reasonably priced menu items!!! We will definitely be back. We need to try other things. We went for burgers so clearly we all went straight there. The burgers are delicious, crispy diner style burgers with lots of lettuce and onion and tomato. The bun was good. The burger was amazing. Paired with fair fries and BLT pasta salad. Wow. So good. My husband got the servers favorite, the mushroom and Swiss burger. He devoured it. So good and so cheesy. Our friend got a grilled cheese burger. It's literally a burger between TWO grilled cheeses. Omg it was still die for. Our other friend got the breakfast burger and loved it. Our server was Jamie. She was the best. So sweet and so nice. So attentive. It was like they were all family in there. We had some amazing food. Cheap drinks. Great music on the jukebox. Great staff. I swear everyone at the bar told us to have a great night when we left. We will be back for sure!!!

Since we were there during brunch, the spouse and I had two of their brunch staples. My Works Skillet was essentially a meat lovers omelette that looked a little better on paper than it tasted. The individual components tasted fine, but the dish was a little dry for me. The missing ingredient was cheese, so please request that they add some to your dish if you order it. I was able to steal a little of my wife's Dijon Hollandaise from her Eggs Benny to moisten my entree, and it was a good audible. The herb home fries were very nice, just like our waitress who struck up a conversation with us around the local happenings to partake in during the nice weather. JB's main menu is lunch and dinner focused so it would be interesting to go back and experience that.

After a long bike ride in the Hocking Hills, we decided to stop by Outerbelt Brewing in Carroll,…read moreOhio. We had checked their website to make sure that they had food. On the website it had listed that they had an in house restaurant called Kirany's Kitchen. What it did not state on the website was that it wasn't exactly opened yet. When we arrived at Outerbelt Brewing, we pulled around near the enormous patio area. We walked up the back steps and were greeted by one of the brewery employees. He gave us the lay of the land for ordering beer. We quickly inquired about the food and he said that Kirany's was new and not open yet. That tonight was their "soft opening". The plan was they were going to hand out samples of their menu items to the brewery customers throughout the night. We were sad that the website did not clearly explain that. But we ordered up some beers and hoped we would be lucky enough to get some samples. A while later, what I can only assume is one of the owners of Kirany's Kitchen began going from picnic table to picnic table with samples from their menu. We were lucky enough to try so many wonderful menu items. The two that stood out to me were both the BBQ chicken pizza and the chicken tacos. When you look at their menu, they do not have the BBQ chicken pizza on it. All their pizzas are build your own pizzas. But I am certain if you let the owner know that you want to try their BBQ chicken pizza he will know exactly how to make it. Their Chipotle Chicken taco is perfection, when you order it, do not change a thing. The avocado and cilantro are so fresh. In fact the cilantro is barely chopped, and yet it is perfect just the way it is. The chicken is moist and the chipotle drizzle gives that hint of a kick. The flavors go together and create a party in your mouth. We really wish we could have ordered from the menu that night, but because everything was so great, we will be back to do just that. We made sure to give our glowing comments to the owner and we wish him the best. You can never go wrong with good food in a brewery. If you happen to be at Outerbelt Brewing enjoying a beer, make sure you place an order with Kirany's Kitchen. You will be pleasantly impressed.

Portion size was good, salad was "ok". We got the hummus platter to share, the pita (chips?) were thick rock hard almost inedible. The cucumbers were wet and actually slimy. We were afraid to eat them. The celery was fine and kalamata olives a nice touch. Hummus seemed like anything I could pick up at the store, not freshly made and very bland. We were excited to try the black bean tacos. Again, just "ok". The beans were unseasoned and tasted like the were just dipped from a can. The person working the window never acknowledged us in any way, stood next to the window with her back to us, we just ordered from the screen and had to go back to pick up the food when we got a text it was done, which was fine. We thought she might be a little more friendly considering we left a decent tip for food that wasn't even delivered to a table. All in all unimpressive is the best word for our experience. Maybe the pizzas or burgers are better? I hope so.
