This local tavern served up some fantastic food! We were greeted right away and started with a round of drinks before ordering the corn nuggets and fried pickles as appetizers. The corn nuggets were served with maple syrup which was a surprisingly delicious combination. The burgers were outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. Came here for the Hocking Hills Food Cruise and while I think service was great, food and atmosphere were not. There was a moldy smell inside the establishment which almost made me just leave immediately. I waited about 15 minutes for the Mac and cheese with pulled pork taster. I couldn't get past a bite. Took over an hour to tell us our order was going to take an additional 20 minutes, ended up walking out and going somewhere else.

i was supposed to come for lunch with my family ,oh well guess what its dinner now... ive been literally waiting here for an hour and thirty minutes, and mind you i came literally starving and now i cant even feel myself, the waitress when i try to tell her that we have been waiting here she tells us " oh well im sorry the kitchen is 45 minutes behind" are you serious? tell us sooner!? and to mention that they literally fill the cup with ice and no space for the drink. We went to the Home Tavern as party of my son's bachelor party. There were 14 of us and we pre arranged a party room. The food was excellent particularly heard rave reviews about the wings and animal fries. The service was fantastic-prompt and very friendly. It was an excellent experience for a large group of mostly late 20/early 30 guys! I highly recommend this venue and will be back as I often ride my motorcycle in the area. Went there last Saturday with family for lunch and to watch the Buckeyes. Place was pretty busy . We had plenty of room for all of us to sit together. A local hometown favorite of mine. The food here is great and when they opened delivery during Covid only me and my grandma always ordered. The serves that I've had have been amazing. Some nights it gets busy and it may take a little longer for them to swing by to check on you but they do great. The atmosphere is very homey. They have many decorations up and have two pool tables to get a game in before dinner. It may get a little loud sometimes especially at the bar but it's an overall great place! read more

The food was just perfect for a game! it was affordable, tasty and hot! we ordered- Onion rings, breaded cauliflower, mini corn dogs, loaded nachos, cheese curds(these were so good, we ordered another order! ) wings, pretzel bites and really everything was fresh, tasty and hot, but the menu item we loved the most was their stuffed breadsticks! we are here for one week and before we go home to Dayton and Southern CA, we will be back! We loved this place so much we ate here twice while visiting the Hocking Hills area. Super friendly service and great food. The first night we had appetizers, all were great.
