Sterling, OH 43143 (740) 831-4018 This morning I rolled into Hammer Time Pub for a little Saturday Morning Fuel-Up and decided to go big or go home. Enter the Tool Kit #3 -- or as I like to call it, The Philly Cheesesteak Meets Tater Tot Avalanche. Base layer: crispy golden tater tots Perfectly seasoned Philly cheesesteak beef Mushrooms, onions, peppers Ghost pepper cheese bringing the heat Friends... this was a LOT of food. Like, "better have your morning cleared" kind of food. As a Philly cheesesteak fan, this hit me right in the taste buds. And with the EMS station right across the street, I felt comforted knowing my #CardiacCare plan was already in place. Yes, it was a little salty -- but hey, it's pub food. That's like complaining your milkshake is too sweet. #Hypertension Verdict: Awesome food, hearty portions, and a hometown vibe that makes you want to linger. If you're at Deer Creek State Park, it's just a short hop for great eats, chill vibes, and good company. Bald White Guy Official Rating: ‍‍‍ (3 1/2 Bald Heads) Why did the tater tot go to therapy? Because it felt a little fried inside. #BaldWhiteGuyReviews #SupportLocal #HammerTimePub #TaterTotGoals #PhillyCheesesteakLove #DeerCreekEats #ChillVibesBigBites #Hypertension #DadJoke #mountsterling

Wow! What a great find !! The bartender is amazing and so friendly! We ordered 10 bourbon sweet traditional wings and I have to say... they were the BEST wings I've ever had! Crispy, and just the right size. Not too big just perfect! The bartender said they were cooked twice. Once in the oven and then deep fried. And the bleu cheese?? WOW! Homemade for sure, lots of different spices. I def tasted some dill in there . The BBQ burger had a delicious fresh, soft bun and so large and juicy. The beer was cold and the food was beyond my expectations. Everyone should try this cute bar in Mt.Sterling. Lots of beer signs, pool tables and Keno! Will def be back!

This place was the perfect pub for halfway between Cincinnati and Columbus. It's in a small cute little town about 15 mins off 71. The only issue I had was when I looked on my maps on my iPhone it took me to a different location on the street. The address says S London st but it takes you to a hair Solon on N London street. I called and the lady guided me down the street, less than a half a mile. But our bartender was very nice and got our food out very quick. I got a cup of the wild chicken and rice soup and split a half of the patty melt. So delicious! It was the perfect amount. I'll be back again !

Oh my goodness, this British gastropub is the real deal! I quickly checked the Yelp reviews, and…read moremade an evening reservation, not checking what the parking situation was like. Well, my bad - their website includes multiple accessible places to park in and around the village. That said, we got it, and decided to belly up to the bar for a better look at the offerings and the place in general. Matt O was our server. I started with a delicious Scottish Ale, and my companion had a glass of wine. Prices are reasonable. My companion ordered and raved about the Shepherd's Pie. I had Bangers & Mash - sausage (3 pieces) with imported horseradish mustard, mashed potatoes, gravy, delicious baked beans. It went perfectly with my pint! It was a warm afternoon so the glass garage doors were opened wide and folks were eating and drinking outside in the beer garden too. The vibe was loud, lively and very positive. Music was old school British Invasion '60s style. Good times seemed to be had by everyone. We finished with a locally produced Chocolate Rum Cake - it was rum forward and smooth, dark chocolatey! Highly recommended.

My family and I recently visited The Last Queen, and overall, there was a lot to appreciate. The…read morerestaurant does an excellent job creating an authentic British pub experience. The atmosphere was charming, the décor was exactly what we were hoping for, and the menu felt genuinely true to British cuisine rather than a themed interpretation. Unfortunately, our visit took place on a colder day, and the large garage-style door connecting to the outdoor seating area was left open. As a result, the entire restaurant felt quite cold throughout our meal. Since we were dining with our infant son, this made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience and was our biggest disappointment of the evening. In fact, it was cold enough that we kept our coats on throughout dinner, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the atmosphere the restaurant had worked so hard to create. We also ordered the fish and chips. The quality of the fish was very good, and it was clearly prepared with care. However, the portion size left something to be desired. The meal included only one medium-sized piece of fish, which felt small for a dinner entrée, especially considering the price point. While the food itself was enjoyable, we were hoping for a more substantial serving. Despite these issues, The Last Queen delivered on atmosphere, authenticity, and food quality. I would be willing to give it another try, particularly during warmer weather, as I believe the temperature and comfort level had a significant impact on our overall experience.
