Solid wings! Spicy garlic with blue cheese and side of fries. I really appreciate homemade wing sauces. This was a perfect blend of garlic, heat and butter. Perfectly fried. Fresh cut fries that found its way to the wing sauce. I could've used a little more blue cheese but that would be my only gripe. Wash it down with a seasonal brew and I was good to go. This was a Nice find in Grove City!

You can count me in as a Blu-Willy's fan. I have seen a lot of people comment about their burgers so my son and I decided to try them out. We both ordered the bacon jam burgers. The burgers are a good size and you get your choice of regular fries or sweet potato fries. We tried both. I only ate half of the burger but could not wait to pick it up and finish the rest later. It did not disappoint. We will definitely be back to repeat our order or try a different burger. I'm already dreaming about this burger. Can't wait to go back.

Loved it. Smaller place with nice outdoor patio area. Polite staff, average pace and very decent prices. Beer was cold, meals hot. Onion rings cooked through and nice crisp. Bacon Jam burger had a nice char but nice and juicy, just a little messy in fact. Average sized plate so overall a great joint to try.

So a couple of thoughts. First, it's not a huge restaurant and the patio/garage area has a lovely view of the brick wall just feet away. Cool concept, bad view. Second, we ordered two Blu-Willy burgers, one with onion and one without. We also ordered a grilled chicken salad and six wings medium with ranch dressing. All of our food came out at one time, except the burgers were undercooked with a pink center and both burgers had onions. Both burgers were grease central! About five minutes after getting our food, the waitress came back with two more burgers and fries, apologized and said that the cook handed her the wrong burger orders originally. They swapped out the orders for us at the table. But after that my girlfriend and her daughter weren't able or interested in finishing the rest. The wings had a very greasy taste and the "medium" sauce was mild at best. The grilled chicken salad...now that was very good! Probably one of the best I've ever had. Our waitress was great though. None of the food is a reflection on her.

I had an amazing experience last night. We've never been here before and didn't know what to get. So, we decided to go with their Blu-Willy burger since they had a sale going on. They were cooked just right and very tasty with they Willy sauce. Their fries were delicious, too. Next time, I think I'll try their wings.

Appetizers came out quickly and hot. We ordered the Pretzel Rods, Mozzarella Sticks and Cajun dusted pork rinds. We enjoyed the apps.. The table ordered the Blu-Willy's burger (hot & juicy) open faced pizza sub (tasty), hot garlic traditional wings (good) & BLT (too greasy)

While in town looking for a quick meal we stopped in for some wings. Service was quick and acceptable and the spicy cheese curd appetizer excellent as were the onion rings. The wings had good flavor but something about the meat was off. There was a very mushy texture to all of them so, while I'd visit again, I'd probably skip the wings. From the looks of the menu there was a good beer selection but we didn't try any.

Stopped in for a drink and appetizer. Small quaint place, bar on each side of the wall, side room looked like a nice area in the summer with the roll up doors. Service was good, food was good. We had pretzel bites, they were fried and served with honey mustard for dipping. Very tasty.

The food was very very good. Nice juicy patty melt. Excellent Mediterranean nachos and nothing beats fresh pork rinds. Service was friendly and attentive. Great experience.

Been a wile since I've been there. Still good to go for burgers and sandwiches. It was crowed but didn't to get seated and service.

Needed lunch and thought about North High Street, but was not already mentally preparing to fight for parking like it's a Black Friday sale in 2003. Audible called. Swung into Grove City instead. Smart move. Possibly my best decision since I stopped trusting gas station hotdogs. After some extensive research (opened Yelp Columbus judged harshly, moved on), I had three requirements: 1. Not a cookie-cutter chain 2. Somewhere new 3. A menu that wouldn't trigger "I don't see anything I like" syndrome Enter: Broadway Plates & Pints 4008 Broadway, Grove City Grove City is that sweet spot... close enough to Columbus to feel alive, but still has that "people wave at you for no reason" energy. Parked on the street like a rookie, only to later discover there's parking behind everything. If you can't find a spot, just check the rear. Yes, I said it. Walked in, grabbed a seat. Smaller place, but in a good way. Elevated tables, bar seating, normal tables for us normal-ish folks. Big windows for prime people-watching. My dimpled sidekick even got a wave from a random passerby. #Friendly #ShesGotFans Then... plot twist... Cleveland Ketchup Company Ketchup sitting on the table. Didn't even know ketchup could have a hometown. #OH.. All-natural, Ohio-made, no junk. And yeah... it's actually really good. The Bald Bunch supports local, even if it's tomatoes living their best life. Check Cleveland Ketchup Company out. They have plenty of locally sourced condiment options. #supportlocal Server Emma B rolls up, keeps it simple. Water and a Michelob ULTRA for me. Because hydration matters... and so does survival. We were starving, so appetizer time: Fried Mozzarella Triangles Hot, crispy, did the job. Not life-changing, not disappointing. The Toyota Camry of appetizers. Reliable. Gets you where you need to go. Now the menu... solid lineup. Burgers, wings, calzones, sandwiches, enough options to make commitment issues flare up. I was bouncing between a calzone, Italian sub, or burger... Then I saw it... THE KRAKEN And listen... you don't order The Kraken. You summon it. This thing shows up like it just crawled out of the Atlantic looking for revenge: * THREE patties (because one or two is for amateurs) * Bacon * American cheese * Caramelized onions * Onion ring * Steak aioli * Brioche bun * AND a honey butter pretzel sitting on top like a crown Just in case was not already enough calories. This wasn't lunch. This was a full-contact event. Immediately ate the onion ring and honey butter pretzel solo like a savage. Then went to work. Multiple napkins required. Not first-date safe. Not job interview safe. Possibly not OSHA approved. But man... it was GOOD. Patties cooked right. Bacon had that perfect bite. Aioli and onions brought it all together like a greasy symphony. Left full... borderline questioning life choices... but zero regrets. Fries? Solid. Pretzel Topper? Sneaky good. Honestly might go back just for those. Service? Emma B crushed it. Drinks stayed filled, no disappearing act, no "I'll be right back" and then vanishing into another dimension. Now... let's talk price. $54.25 for lunch. Look... I get it. Everything costs more now. But I'm still gonna complain about it like it's my full-time job. Either prices come down or someone needs to give me a raise. Preferably both. And one more thing... Beer was cold. BUT NOT IN A FROSTED MUG. Unacceptable. Somewhere, Congress is wasting time when they could be solving real issues like this. Draft beer should never warm up mid-drink. That's just science. Final Rating: ‍‍‍‍ - 4 out of 5 Bald Heads Pros: * Parking (once you stop ignoring the back lot like I did) * Great people-watching windows * Filling, legit good food * Friendly, attentive staff Cons: * No frosted mugs (we can fix this, I believe in you) * Prices... but also, apparently I just complain now #OldMan If you're cruising through Grove City and want solid food, a relaxed vibe, and a burger that might require a waiver... this is your spot. And - order some Ohio Condiments at Cleveland Ketchup Company. #FreeShipping #SupportLocal #BaldApproved #ReleaseTheKraken

It caters to a clientele that's mostly Gen X's with a few Boomers and Gen Y's mixed in. It's definitely an alternative to the typical sports bar scene that attracts the meat market, d-bag, bro and hipster crowd. I've got to tell you that this is a great place to relax after a rough day. If you feel like putting your feet up and talking with a few friends or maybe even if you want to bring in a book and sit and read for a while, there's an uber comfortable love seat and some chairs that are very butt friendly. You can grab a cocktail at the bar or have a seat at one of the tables and order some dinner to be brought over from the attached China Bell Restaurant. The Spicy Crab Rangoon are wonderful by the way... This is a legit cocktail lounge. They have a full bar and Carla the bartender pours a good drink. Their beer selection covers all the basics and they've got a few crafts for variety. This place only has two Yelp reviews even though they've been here for about 2 years now, so I'm going to call this place a true hidden gem. It's one of my favorite places to go for cocktails.
