I wish I could rate every aspect of this restaurant differently. If you're looking for a restaurant with a bar this isn't it!! If you're looking for a bar with food you found it!!! The waitress who was also the barmaid was amazing. I cannot thank her enough. She was so much fun and super helpful. The food we got was very good for bar food. The broccoli bites and nachos were our favorites. Definitely a bar with pool tables and regulars which says a lot about the quality of their products!!!

Grest little spot! Good food and good people. Usually busy if they're serving food, all kinds of people.

Food was great! Beer was fresh! The patio offered a nice place to enjoy the weather. It was our first time and we'd definitely go back.

That's actually a positive if you're looking for a spot where you can grab food and watch a game at the same time. In general, walking into a restaurant that's full is a good sign, so from the start I had high expectations. We were seated fairly quickly, which was great. However, it did take a while for our waitress to come over and take our order. That part was somewhat understandable, as she appeared to be the only server handling a large number of tables. While that's not her fault, it is a downside from a staffing perspective. Once we finally placed our orders, the food also took a bit longer than expected to come out. When it did arrive, though, it was hot and seemed very fresh. I ordered the loaded tater tots, which came topped with chili and cheese, with sour cream on the side. They were good overall, but I do think the chili could have been better--more meat and a slightly richer, more savory flavor would have gone a long way. We also ordered wings. Aside from a couple that were burnt, the wings were actually quite flavorful and enjoyable. Most of them were cooked well, and the seasoning was solid. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, which is always appreciated. The waitress was very kind and polite whenever she did come by, and I think most of the issues we experienced were simply due to how busy the restaurant was at the time. If we were to return during a slower period, I believe the experience would likely be much better overall. Would I recommend going here? Yes--with some caveats. If you're going primarily for the food, I wouldn't necessarily recommend visiting on a busy game night. However, if you're going to watch a game, enjoy the atmosphere, and grab some food at the same time, it's worth giving a try. Hopefully it won't be so busy that things come out rushed or slightly off, like a few items did for us. Overall, the experience was decent. It wasn't amazing, and it wasn't terrible. Aside from a few burnt pieces of chicken, most of the food was flavorful, and the atmosphere made up for some of the shortcomings.

I guess the kitchen portion is newer, so although my friends had been here before it was strictly to drink, so the food was a new experience for them as well. We each got something different to try. I had the spicy chicken sandwich which honestly is one of the best ones I've ever had. The onion strings for an appetizer were perfect. Great and crunchy! The space is great too. The first side when you walk in is a bit busier as that's where a majority of folks were for karaoke that night. We opted to sit on the other side of the wall dividing the bar where it was a bit quieter. It's nice to be able to choose the sort of environment you want to be in here. As for service: also excellent. Our primary server was attentive and asked a few questions to make sure she didn't miss anything about sides or toppings on the food. When she clocked out, another server took over and it was seamless. My one friend liked our dinner so much, he came back for lunch the next day! Highly recommend.

Sterling, OH 43143 (740) 831-4018 This morning I rolled into Hammer Time Pub for a little Saturday Morning Fuel-Up and decided to go big or go home. Enter the Tool Kit #3 -- or as I like to call it, The Philly Cheesesteak Meets Tater Tot Avalanche. Base layer: crispy golden tater tots Perfectly seasoned Philly cheesesteak beef Mushrooms, onions, peppers Ghost pepper cheese bringing the heat Friends... this was a LOT of food. Like, "better have your morning cleared" kind of food. As a Philly cheesesteak fan, this hit me right in the taste buds. And with the EMS station right across the street, I felt comforted knowing my #CardiacCare plan was already in place. Yes, it was a little salty -- but hey, it's pub food. That's like complaining your milkshake is too sweet. #Hypertension Verdict: Awesome food, hearty portions, and a hometown vibe that makes you want to linger. If you're at Deer Creek State Park, it's just a short hop for great eats, chill vibes, and good company. Bald White Guy Official Rating: ‍‍‍ (3 1/2 Bald Heads) Why did the tater tot go to therapy?
