A couple of weeks ago we tried to go here. The website said they opened at 10:00 and when we got there about 10:20 they were not open yet (although the TVs were on). The time on the door showed they open at 11:00. So today, Saturday Jan 13th, we show up at 11:14 and the doors were locked! The open signs were on as well as the TVs again. We left and won't be trying for a 3rd time. I would not give any stars but have to to post a review. And yet another false time that they open. read more

if you like homemade mac and cheese I highly recommend you come to this place and get the mac and cheese with the blackened chicken is worth the few extra dollars to add the chicken to it oh my goodness gracious that was the most incredible mac and cheese I've ever had in my entire life! if you don't like spicy food I wouldn't recommend adding the chicken because it has quite the kick to it but if you do like spicy food as much as I do you can't go wrong with the blackened chicken added to the mac and cheese.. very unique dish, incredibly well executed, I can't say enough about the blackened chicken mac and cheese it was beyond incredible... read more

The Crater Lake Dip didn't disappoint. We ordered it based on other reviews and we were glad we did. I had the Timberline Turkey sandwich with a side salad and my husband ordered the house burger with tater tots. Both were very good! We stopped here on a whim and was presently surprised! We ordered a drink and the waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu. The food took a bit longer than you would think but it was worth it! Went in here last week with a friend and got my favorite (the Teriyaki Chicken and Rice). It was short on veggies this time, but usually really good. Tonight I went in with Family. I ordered the chicken strips and fries. OH BOY! There was more batter then chicken on the strips. Yes, the batter was decent, but not as a main course. I think the fries were okay? This was our second time here. Our first time we ordered the nachos and a wedge salad. The food was great. So satisfying we decided to come back a week later. Well, today we could only order off the brunch menu, so we got a chicken and waffles to share and chicken fried bacon. The food was okay. Nothing to Yelp about. But my main concern is their lack of attention to cleanliness. Our waitresses sweat shirt looked like she had worked all night in it and was stained from hard work in a grease pit. But it was only 11. The mini blinds next to our table were disgusting! The floor has not been swept. The syrup container was served to us with dust all over the top and the container had syrup all over the outside. Their condiment bottles had dried on ketchup and mustard on them. I am sorry when I was a kid my grandmother owned a restaurant and those huge details would never have gotten past her! It makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like if they can't even keep the dining area clean. I personally will not be coming back! Especially since my water tasted like sewer water! Surprisingly friendly and comfortable place. There is a separate section for families, so from the bar, you'd never know they were there. The bar is surrounded by windows and TVs. There's an okay beer selection with about 10 IPA-heavy taps that don't seem to change that often. The food is really good. Portions are big and modestly priced. Everything seems to be made fresh. The fish and chips is my favorite, but the chicken and waffles are close behind. The carnitas and the chicken tacos are both well above average. People seem to really like their pizzas. I wish the burgers were 1/2 pounders, but they're not, so I haven't tried them. It's a very good place to watch a game, or to hang out and socialize. It's still fairly new, but I'll continue to be a regular. read more

Meh. I'd go back if there was a game I wanted to watch I guess. Food was nothing special but definitely edible. Multiple IPA beer options was a bonus. It was busy and someone went home sick so they were short staffed. I liked the purse hooks at the bar, the stools were comfortable, tv's were not too loud, staff was friendly but not able to give adiquite service. Cesar salad: not enough dressing or cheese to be worth the $7.00 it was basicly lettuce with toast on the side. Mac&cheese was not my favorite kind but I'm sure most people would like it, its american cheese and again for $8.50 portion could have been bigger. Wings: breaded and sauce amount was good, not personally a fan of the whole wing connected- how do you dip? Tacos: were good size and best we got for sure. I'll try it again at somepoint. read more

We've been here a few times, once for happy hour and then we went on a Friday night for dinner. Food was good, service was good but very busy. we were there for about 3 hours and the whole time there was just a crowd of people hanging into the entrance to the bar...it was a little uncomfortable at times, as our table was right there. I would suggest getting some sort of a hostess or some sort of a check-in so people are just hovering around your table while you're trying to have a conversation with friends. read more

The cook that worked Monday 8/30 at 11:45 am needs to be fired. That was the absolute worst pork dip. Couldn't have messed it up any worse. Dry meat, terrible flavor, most of the sandwich contents were glued to the paper as if the whole thing was put into the oven with the paper till everything oozed out. Worst meal I have ever seen. Bread falling apart. And you need to start dating the tomato juice as a clump of mold ended up in my mouth. Terrible. The food needs to be checked by a waitress to make sure it is proper. read more

After our last four tries getting fish and chips to go, we will be looking for a new place. First problem with all orders, they cannot make crispy french fries to save their souls. Have made special requests for crispy fries ever since we started going there. Second problem is, we don't know if the fish is precooked or it's the breading they use, we always get there a few minutes before we were told when the order would be ready, it takes us 3 minutes to get home from there, breading was rubbery and fries were far from crispy. We just scraped the breading off our fish and that went in the garbage along with my fries. When we first started going there, we ate inside, only had non crispy fries once, they immediately replaced them. We now just get our food to go and all we ever hear is, we're sorry. I never post reviews trying to correct problems without letting them know the problem and giving them chance to correct problem on next visit. Sorry to have to post this but simply asking the next time we ordered to make sure it would be correct and being assured it would be fine and getting home to problems. We never asked for discounts or anything at all from scooters except to have our order cooked the way we wanted which was what we were paying for. It would have been much simpler and easier for them to just say they didn't know how. We are not suggesting people not go there, just make sure if ordering food to go, take a bite before leaving. Went in for the first time and the staff was friendly and the food was good. They messed up my order and put meat in my calzone so I had to correct them because I'm a vegetarian. They apologized and owned up to the mistake and made a new one. They even gave me a discount on it. My issue is, when I took home the leftovers and began eating them, a huge black hair was in it. Threw up it was so gross. Check their Facebook reviews and I'm not the first to get a hair in food. So hairnets are needed I'd say. read more

I was a restaraunt server for 12 years and I more than most have empathy for those in this field. This was our first time at Scooters. Even though the food tasted pretty good we won't be back. There were 3 people at the bar, and 4 other tables besides ours. There were 2 servers. The four of us ordered off menu with no special requests. 3 out of the 4 tables that came in AFTER us got their food before us within about 20 minuets of ordering it. We waited 1 hour and 16 min to get our food. Only once did the waitress come up and say that our food would "be out soon" but that was after we had already been waiting 45 minutes....it took 20 more minutes to get food but even then only one person out of the 4 of us got our food. 10 minutes late 2 more meals came, 5 min later the last persons meal came. No explanation, just a thanks for your "patience". The waitress was a bit frazzled (gave us wrong dressing, took over 10 min to get correct dressing, took 15 min to get check and a box once we asked for it and hardly any interaction from her.) I finally had to ask why it took us over an hour to get out food. All she said was we only have one cook today. No apology, no offer to buy us a drink or discount our bill, or anything. She said sorry and thank you after she brought our receipts back from taking our payment. We still tipped even though ewe were pretty upset by the whole thing. Our experience would have been better if the waitress 1 -communicated with us 25 min into us not having food that they were short staffed 2- offered to buy us an appetizer while we waited or offered to discount our check. We like supporting local and we understand things can happen but this was really bad. read more

We enjoyed this place when it first opened, so when we had friends come in to town we decided to go here. We should have ordered pizza instead! They apparently have changed owners and the food has changed and not in a good way. Drinks were not good (charged extra for cranberry juice in a vodka/cranberry drink), hamburgers were on par with a Denny's burger, the bruschetta toast was soggy not crisp and the prosciutto with melon was actually ham and very tough. Granted they were busy but our server was either new or lacked the skills to handle a lot of customers and a kitchen that is backed up. He delivered drinks and took our order, if we wanted something else we had to go find him or ask another server. We will not be going back! read more

Gotta update this review...Since the shutdown we've ordered delivery from them a few times. They're delivering directly with their own employees, and the food has arrived very fresh and they have been a great option. The chicken burger, pulled pork, BLAT, Cajun tots, kids burger and kids pizza have all been a huge hit in our family. We will continue to support this local business and hope that they will continue the delivery option after everything opens back up. read more

I really enjoy this place. The food is good, and the ambience in the bar is nice. We've been a few times and will be back. The only complaint comes from my husband, who thought the ranch dressing that came with our chicken strips was too watery. The strips themselves, though, are amazing! They're huge and juicy. We came here on a Sunday evening (5ish pm) with 3 kids under 4. Couldn't have been more pleased! The play area is great, lots to do! The happy hour prices were extremely reasonable ($5 for 2 tacos which were HUGE, $4 wine and draft beer, many other $5 items). Kids meals are $5 for an entree and side (fruit, fries or tots) $2 extra for milk which didn't bother us because the portions were so large. Service was really where this place shined. The girl in our "family" area was On TOP of all our needs and I never felt we were "waiting" on her (which is saying a lot with little kids and lots of demands ;-)) Overall this will be our new family "go to". Our kids loved playing and loved the food. We enjoyed our adult beverages uninterrupted and our bill was less than $50 including tip! read more

Decided to try it out, despite all the failed restaurants that were here before. The atmosphere is a lot like Applebee's which I like, lighting is pleasant it appears like the owner is very meticulous good choice of decoration Ricky Carmichael and Jeremy McGrath are my idols nice to see a jersey on the wall that's not a frickin fail blazer. Stopped in for a quick lunch with my wife. We had a couple appetizers the bacon wrapped asparagus and spicy chicken wings. Food was delicious. The wings are whole with a crunchy batter coated with buffalo sauce, I would order these again! Asparagus and bacon you can't go wrong. Service was very good and prompt. Jesus. I understand they just opened but it was dead when we walked in and everything was still pretty awful. Waitress didn't know her beers, but was nice enough. Ordered food and waited 40mins- wasn't checked on once. Waitress comes over and says sorry, apparently she put in our order wrong. Waited another ten mins for some ok food. She at least comped our beers for the wait, so that was nice. Won't be back to eat, maybe to bar to drink and watch a game, they did have a decent tap list. read more
