Stopped here after attending the Bigfoot museum next door. Excellent surprise ! roomy booth great menu jukebox music was awesome staff was super friendly and attentive! We all enjoyed The food. Large Wings, tater tots, fish and chips, chicken strips, onion rings all were large portions and very reasonably priced I was shocked. Poker machines were busy but I tried one, always fun. Easy access and can't miss the big foot museum next door. I'll be happy to return to both. read more

Buyer Beware. I don't do reviews. But I felt compelled in this instance: I believe Chester's Pub is a deceptive, predatory business. Judging by the raucous crowd on the patio when we arrived, it did not appear staff was concerned about over serving. Yes, it was a Friday night, but it was not quite 7pm. Further evidence to support this suspicion included: #1) The table next to ours having a member pass out, then rally to vomit violently for several minutes (remember... 7:00), which really did not help our thoughts on food quality, which, prior to witnessing that, was mediocre at best. #2) I said yes to the offer of a 2nd drink. Then, before that one was gone, a 3rd showed up (which I did NOT order). Playing the benefit of the doubt (had I somehow indicated I needed a 3rd...?). I went ahead & decided to just pay for that, but when my bill arrived, I had been charged for FOUR drinks, double what I had actually ordered. I felt this was a predatory maneuver: Over serve guests, hoping they won't notice the over charges. It was my first time visiting, so, perhaps this was an isolated incidence, but it appeared that staff perceived it as normal. I won't return. I advise you to stay absent as well. read more

Been here a lot in the past and won't return since this past Winter. Fights often and the staff and owners seem to have internal love triangles internally that cause a lot of issues. My parents use to frequent there however given the staff past few years and drama they and my cousins stopped going as well as myself this past year. Previous ownership always held staff to higher standards. I heard the woman owner comes from money is how they stay open. read more

We had the Philly sandwiches with fries. Excellent. The atmosphere was good, the service friendly, and the prices reasonable. We recommend this pub for good food and reasonable prices. Even though it takes us about 35 minutes to get there, it is worth the trip. read more

visited on a holiday monday Sept 2025, so maybe there was a staff issue that day. we all placed orders at the bar with the bartender/server. my burger was OK. a bit overdone and heavy on the shredded lettuce but not a bad bar burger. two of our party ordered drinks and food and decided to keep the tab open. after everyone else was served we noticed they hadn't gotten their food despite getting their order in before the rest of us. someone went to check with the bartender and she gave an excuse and after another 15 or 20 minutes someone else went to check on it and got a different excuse. after another 10-15 everyone was finished and it was clear the food was just not going to show up, so we all took off so our friends could go get something to eat. strange days indeed. read more

Coming home from the mountain after hiking. This is a great stop with outdoor seating yummy food and great stuff I highly recommend.

My husband and I go here several times a month. The food is excellent! Sometimes we get great service and other times not so much, which is why I gave this review 4 stars. If you want great food, this is the place to go in Boring, Oregon! read more

I've eaten here 3 times now since I'm staying in the area. The bar is nicely decorated. Plenty of tables, a small restaurant section, and a long bar. Has 2 pool tables and some gambling games. Large screen TV's (No NFL package though). Staff has been friendly, service is quick. Prices a bit high, so if you can go with the daily specials for a better deal. I've had the chicken wings, and the Bleu Bacon Burger (twice). I've enjoyed the food, the burger is really good ($12.75). Patrons seem friendly enough. I'll come back because I like the atmosphere, the food, and the staff. read more

Outstanding is what fits the bartenders here. I have become a regular since moving to the area. Family was very surprised on how fast we were served. Thank you Ashley . We just happened to pop in because we were visiting the North American Bigfoot Center next door and we had a GREAT experience! The drinks and apps were good, the staff was awesome, and the atmosphere was great! It's clean but still cozy and not at all pretentious! The local crowd was friendly and talkative. Stopped in for a beer after a long drive home. They were extremely busy but got through their line quickly. It was happy hour and we got a beer and sat down. The server was friendly and greeted us as he was helping another table. It we finished our beers the server brought us over another round and apologized for being so busy. It was a nice gesture. Wow! Can we talk about how lame COVID19 has made our bar going? Chesters is open due to Clackamas county opening up. I have been here two night in a row. They have given me awesome service and a friendly attitude. The bartenders are working their asses off. Chaynce is a glowing personality that poured me the best tequila shots. Proud to be a lunchtime regular for cheeseburgers and beer. The food is always hot and fresh-- a cut above the usual burger and a million times better than the neighboring drive-in. Comfy spot with good service, and the back patio is a treat in the summer. See you there! read more

Bartender Ashley was a completely unprofessional... tab was 65$ I tipped 3 dollars then I was going to leave a 5 in cash ( as I bartend for a living and I know us bartenders like cash better) while I heard her taking shit to her coworkers behind the bar stating that I am worthless and I shouldn't come here cause I tipped 3$ ... this isn't the first time she's done this and it won't be the last and I'd be so embarrassed if she was my employee.. food here is great but the THAT employee needs to go.... read more

Chicken strips-overcooked and chewier than heck and the breading was off. Can't put my finger on it. But I would not recommend. I had a Diet Coke so I can't comment on their drinks, but I won't be back. Looks like they've got a lot of regular customers. read more

This place is TRASH. Straight up witnessed some racism. Went in with my friend, had a couple drinks and the waiters would only attend to a WHITE man meanwhile my friend and I waited for 10 min just to Cash out. I also spoke up to the waitress about the incident and her response was "well that has nothing to do with me" actually you WORK there, so it definitely DOES. This establishment supports racism and customers should be aware of that. The food, service and employees, were all trash. read more

OMG... the food was horrible! Chicken wings (2 orders) were sooo dry. Mac and Cheese cost $10 for a tiny amount of food, which incidentally was "made to order." If you thought that the I Don't Know bar was subpar, this place is worse at a whole lot more money. read more
