Well I decided I wanted nachos for lunch, so I called ahead and the lady asked if I wanted a full, half or mini order. Well I asked for half thinking it would be perfect for myself for lunch. So I go in and ask how much, she said $21.50 I'm thinking damn that's expensive for a little half order of nachos. Then I see a lady filling a clamshell container with sour cream and taco sauce thinking it's all ready. Then from the kitchen comes a large pizza box taped shut. She proceeded to hand me the clamshell and the giant pizza box and said here you go, here's your nachos. I'm stunned and go to my car and started thinking what did I just order? For just myself it was crazy and I was overwhelmed with all this food, I just wanted lunch and I end up with 5 days worth. Well I guess I know better now! After eating about 1/8 th of it I threw the rest away. I live alone and had no one to give it to. This is the place for you if you like comfort food. Definitely not the healthiest as the burger and fries were extremely greasy. But a very tasty, thick burger and not one of those frozen hockey pucks. Fries were ok and there was a mountain of them. But again, very greasy and since I've been eating a lot healthier the past decades or so, there was a major rebellion going on in my gut a few hours later. No complaints. It is what it is and they are clear that they serve comfort food. And comforting it was. Went there specifically for the clam chowder which they only serve on Fridays. It was meh. I'm from Boston so I know what really good clam chowder is supposed to taste like and this clearly wasn't it. Watery. Barely a clam fragment to be found. Really difficult to find good clam chowder here on teh left coast even at the coast. The best I've had so far was a yuppie scum la-dee-dah place up in Port Townsend that I hit for a b'day dinner a while back. If I'm back this way again I'll try the chili instead. They apparently sell a lot of pizza but to me, this is a beer and a burger joint. My companions had fried fish and fried shrimp. I guess it was ok. Heard no complaints (or praise). It was the first visit for the three of us. We hung around for three hours chatting over beers. No one tried to shoo us off wanting the table which is always appreciated. Are you listening Red Robin? The saloon is large with massive tables and booths. But it filled up fast for lunch and the breakfast crowd was just clearing out when I got there. There's not much out this way. A couple of small burbs and that's about it. I was surprised to see it so crowded. I gave this place five stars because it is true to what it claims to be. If they were boasting they served healthy food the review would have been different. But this is just a nice, friendly townie saloon that serves mounds of tasty food at decent prices. Wait staff was what you'd expect. Cheerful, friendly, efficient. Just off the main highway (244) and easy enough to find but can't be seen from the main drag. Huge paved parking lot. Waitress was doing triple duty and was VERY busy. Only two waitresses working this day. Hard working ladies and they were great! I stopped by this place after seeing their Facebook posts, it's about less than 30 minutes drive from my house, when you see their posts you'll see them posting with their pet dog and customers dogs too inside the restaurant. After I got there I asked the waitress if it's okay to bring my puppy inside and her facial expression changed to the Wicked Witch of the East and said "NO" and stating that it was against the law and that the county health department can shut them down if I brought my dog inside, I asked about the dogs in their Facebook post and she just said it was the owner lady's pets???? I ordered something simple and after eating it I got out of there. I was in Estacada looking at a new house for sale and stopped in again for a bite to eat, as I was sitting down, I saw a group of 6 Caucasian white women sitting at a long table with a full grown golden retriever on a leash under their table. The waitress wasn't there that day and it was a chubby man came by to take an order, I explained what was told to me by the waitress saying it was against the law for me to bring my dog inside and he too agreed that was the case. I pointed towards the women with the large dog sitting under their table, and the waiter gave me the long face and said that if I feel uncomfortable being there, it would be my choice to leave and he just walked away! Apparently it's okay if you're a white Caucasian to bring in your dogs into their restaurant but it's not okay if you're an Asian! VERY EVIL PLACE! read more

We come here to celebrate holidays with my Grandma. She is in her late 90s and this is her favorite place to get a meal. The group is normally around ten people and they do a solid job of service. We have only had a couple minor errors to our orders and they are always fixed promptly. They serve breakfast into the early afternoon. My father always enjoys the chicken fried steak. The kids menu is good. My daughter and nephew (5) look forward to ordering there favorite foods. The kids menu and senior menu are the same menu. They are also good about splitting meals. My grandmother can not eat a whole meal and shares with my Aunt. Overall I enjoy our family meals here and there is something for everyone. read more

Really enjoy small town restaurants in general, I always get their nachos and they're definitely in the top 3 of my favorites. Nothing worse than ordering biscuit sausage gravy with 2 eggs over easy and country potatoes. Well their was no sausage in the gravey. Not one piece. So I guess it was supposed to be sausage flavor. This review is specifically for the pizza. It might be just an Oregon thing, but the pizza in the state is not really good so far. Eagle Creek is on par with the rest of the state as well. The crust and edge was really good, but the rest not so much. Too much cheese...way too much cheese. The cheese then creates oil as it cooks and you get a very flavorless pizza. The tops were okay, but the sausage seemed to be an afterthought as it was not cooked into the cheese and kind of fell off as you tried to eat it. The people at the counter was fine. The person who took the order on the phone was fine. No complaints about service (which earned them a star). I will be back to try the rest of the menu, but in our search for an acceptable pizza, our journey is not at an end! read more

We go to Eagle Fern Park all of the time and never stopped in here until Father's Day this year. Wow! They are so nice and they were trying really hard with the Covid situation. Unfortunately, none of the customers were wearing masks (Clackistan I guess). We had the Saloon Omelette which is basically a Denver with hollandaise space on it. It was really good.
