so my wife and I had a staycation here in town she had the whole week off, and we ate at several restaurants all throughout the Oregon area. I have to say that the customer service here at the hanger was the best that we received along with the food may not be five star steakhouse, but the quality of the cooking the temperature and the freshness were On Point definitely worth going back for and who doesn't love this cute little bar with all the knickknacks on the walls have to say probably one of my favorite trusted places that I know I'm gonna be satisfied when I go here every time read more

Great place. It is by the river but you can't see the river. The staff is super nice and being an airline girl the decor was fun. I had the teriyaki chicken sandwich. It was sooooooo good. The chicken was perfectly cooked. The teriyaki sauce was delicious and the pineapple yum. There was a sign when we walked in and it said do not seat yourself. We did stand there for a few minutes before being acknowledged and then the staff said sit wherever and we wondered around changing our minds on where we wanted to sit. The staff followed us through it all. They were so great. I would change that sign to say please wait here for your seat assignment if you want to be more airport like lol. read more

Never took the time to write this up because it really upset my wife at the time, but a couple of years ago we went here for breakfast because it looked charming. Was treated like a thief for commenting that the breakfast burrito looked like it didn't have eggs in it. The manager came to my table and said her cooks know what they're doing. I asked her to look at the burrito in front of me but she refused to look down, only continued to glare at me in fury over my complaint. She stormed off and when my bill came, they took off the burrito with no mention of it. I paid for it anyway but without tip. Could have been handled better for sure. read more

I don't go out to eat much so when I do, I wanna make sure the food is decent and all in all the meal is a positive experience. This is definitely going to be a normal go to place for me after visiting it for the first time. When I came in, it was fairly busy with only a couple tables not occupied. My order was taken fairly quickly, and my food was delivered a lot faster than I anticipated. I got a cheeseburger with fries, and the burger was very juicy and flavorful. The fries were good and everything was nice and hot. The service was quick, accurate, and very friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were good. I say that as a man who is very frugal and can eat a decent amount of food. This place is usually fairly busy because everybody knows what I just posted here. Came here before a float because it was so close. Our server was super nice and the food came out fast and hot! The food was really good! I got the corned beef hash which is made in house and was super tasty. Their bacon was chewy and perfect amount of salty. My friend got the chicken fried steak and it was really good. Don't go with kids! We planned an end of the year soccer party upstairs and reserved the space. The "regulars" in the bar complained about hearing kids, and the bar tender yelled at us for being loud. Since when did a family restaurant turn into a 21+ on a weekday? If you have not been to the Carver Hangar... you are missing out! Ever since I was young, the French fries have been my absolute favorite in Oregon (literally debate me if you disagree) and after 6 years of not coming in, I can say they are still the same amazing, crispy, handcut fries the Mushroom burger and the Western burger were both juicy and filled with flavor. They serve soft drinks in the OG red Coca Cola cups which makes the experience even better. 11/10 I love the sporting decor throughout as well! read more

Terrible! We were there today to have breakfast with two of my friends. A table came in about 20 minutes after we got there. They got their food first ours arrived cold we never saw the waitress. I left a two cent tip. Now she was the only one in a very busy place, which may not be fair to her, but it was very mediocre and I will not go back again. read more

Came here for a coworkers going away party. I wont lie, when i saw hoe packed it was on a weekday lunch i was surprised. When i saw the portions and prices, it made sense. I mean, where in 2023/2024 can you find a 2/3lb double cheese burger with fries for $13. I mean, thats a gem. I love to see a place not get greedy with pricing, they have a ton of flair and decor, its jam packed, also they have jam packed Im sure. It's hard to even call what little I ate food. Inedible greasy mess. Not a piece of fruit or anything fresh to be found on the menu. I ordered an omelet with hash browns. The omelet itself looked like the "egg" portion was premade and the warmed up in a saucepan stuffed with the filling. The hash browns were dowsed in oil and hardly warm in the center. We have been going to this Restaurant for a very long time and had always had friendly service. But as of 3/18/2025 at around 6:00 pm our family of around 12 people was going to go there and the rude waitress absolutely refused to seat use ( note that the 2 tables that seat at least 6 each and many booths were empty and no other customers coming in ) and yelled at us saying how ridiculous we were to not make reservations! Eating during the second wave of the pandemic is a new challenge. They have an outside deck however it's almost completely enclosed so I'm skeptical of the real difference in the safety of eating here. Sitting as far away from the one working patio heater was motivation to eat and get going. The bbq sandwich was tasty and enough to fill me up. The whole cut fries are coated with something however i found them to be pretty good. The wife had a patty melt which made her very happy.
