Coasters has fantastic food and service is pretty good...most of the time. Unfortunately, of late there's been a significant dip in the service quality in the afternoons. Large groups of older folks are not well-behaved, and often moving tables around, moving people between tables, and the newer servers get lost, get pushed around, and management used to be very good at not tolerating this kind of BS. I am no spring chicken myself, but the entitled behavior and the refusal of management to stand up to people literally grabbing the server, not great, folks. The mega-tables that these folks move around also are obnoxiously loud and all the soundproofing on earth doesn't do much when there's 20 people moving tables around every 15 minutes. This has become consistent on weekday afternoons. I love the burgers. I love the garlic fries. I think the beer's well-priced and the happy hour is pretty good. The thing is...when you can't order a pint because the server can't even get to you, you have a problem. I'll be sticking to take-out for the near future during the afternoon. I'm a working person and letting a bunch of people who don't work shove your employees around is not a good plan. But in the evening, I'll be the first to sign up for a burger and a beer. I'm hoping that having addressed this with management in person and online that there will be some positive change and an improvement...but for now, gotta knock that star off. read more

Located off a major street this place is pretty easy to to find, but I turned in to quick and went into the wrong parking lot at first. Parking is limited and can fill up quickly. The indoors was a little dark for my taste so sat outdoors to enjoy the patio. Service was pretty good and did not have to wait. Patio was large and could hold a lot of folks. Food selection was pretty good as well as the beer selection. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was wonderful. I would highly recommend to you to give this a shot. It was well portioned with excellent flavor. Onion rings were also spot on. The burger was a little overly charred/burnt for our liking, so would probably not be a repeat. I also ordered a bowl of clam chowder and my wife and I shared it, it was so Good she wouldn't let me eat it all myself. The ice teas were refilled time after time. So if you are ever in my hometown, Coasters is a Must Stop. The service is amazing, the food is high quality and Yummy too, however the flying insects on the patio is a small turn off, so I just eat inside. Amazing yummy food and excellent, friendly service! I don't drink but they seem to have a great selection of alcohol to delight those that do. The prawns are a favorite and the burgers are perfection. Great salads too. It's a little set back from the road and easy to accidentally drive by, so keep an eye out for the white and blue sign. Good crowd at beginning of Civil War game with cranked volume, much appreciated to hear the calls. Pfreim IPA $5.50 and Jameson $7 with Chicken Brisket hoagie $13 with $1 salad upgrade. Meat was juicy but would like thicker brisket which wad grilled thin like bacon, it had great flavor and bark and coleslaw and bbq dressed, tasty! Salad was the ordinary garden variety but so small for the dollar upgrade :/ Menu has several coastal offerings, seared ahi, bay shrimp ceviche or salad, rockfish, salmon or halibut tacos or battered with chips. Nice welcoming servers and staff. Stopped here for the first time. I didn't know it existed as it sits back of the main road to Home Depot. I ordered deep fried oyster with fries and Cole slaw. I have to tell you the service was top shelf. The oysters were easily the best I've ever had. The fries were crisp and delicious. I normally don't like Cole slaw but this was very nice. Definitely taking my wife next time and will continue to dine here. I would encourage you to take your family for a day or night of fine dining. 5 stars from me. read more

Asked for a medium well steak because apparently these people think a rare steak is medium proceeds to give me a rare steak with a hair my partners medium rare steak was even closer to well than mine. I put the plate on the edge of the table and angle myself to the bar where all the servers and make eye contact with every single one many many times for about five minutes then proceed to raise my hand while making eye with a server he tries to ignore it then I had to yell to get his attention that I wasn't going to be continue to be ignored. Finally receive service, steak comes out yet again medium rare parts of it look chewed and the sauce was watier than the last steak with bubbles indicating spit. This place needs to be shut down and that little fvckhead ginger needs to be locked up he's creepy and is terrible at service. My dear friend and I meet for lunch at least once a month. We wanted to try something new so we explored what looked popular on her side of town, and we wanted something that neither of us had been to - Coasters Brew Pub met all that criteria. The menu is pretty carried and definitely more than the average tavern menu. I had a shrimp basket and upgraded to onion rings. It was ok. The shrimp were tender but I found the breading to be a little too heavy and therefore not quite done in the middle. The cocktail sauce was delicious and spicy. The Onion rings are the real deal, and tasty. Coleslaw came with the basket as well, and sadly I didn't care for it. It was too dry and didn't have much flavor. My friend had the French dip burger assuming it would be something other than a hamburger with aus jus, it wasn't as far as she was concerned. She said the burger was good, the bun was fresh, but she thought there would be something more to it. They have a full bar, and TVs, it would probably be a great place to watch a game. I really enjoy the outdoor seating at this restaurant. The couple of times I've been to Coasters Crossing it has been pretty busy but they are well-staffed and manage dinner crowds with ease. I've had the steak bites & fries which were pretty great and the mahi mahi fish burger. The garlic fries I paired with my fish weren't the best I've had. I finally decided to visit Coasters after endless recommendations by friends and family. Father's Day breakfast was delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly, eggs were exactly as I specified and the loaded potatoes were just an added bonus. The 11$ price point seemed to good to be true. The staff were accommodating, prompt and friendly. We will be back again. We dined inside, I noticed they have an outside patio but I didn't venture outside to see the space. The mimosa was standard, was worth 4$. My husband was happy with his Father's Day breakfast and that the wait staff acknowledged him by wishing him happiness today. Thank you to the staff and cooks.
