Came here for drinks. Got my usual whiskey ginger with bullet. They are dog friendly so Koa came with us. Pool table in the back and country music played while we were here. Good vibes and service was great.

Best Corn Dog Ever!! Make sure to ask for the house made special spicy sauce! Make a wish and rub the ducks belly! It's good luck.

Okay, so Thirsty Duck is not the Four Seasons, we've pretty much nailed that down. However, as taverns go Thirsty Duck is pretty freaking solid. After switching over from the 505 Tavern with fresh owners a bit of lip gloss was put on the old girl and she's looking spruced up. They still have a pool table in back and the long bar with cozy seats. They do karaoke on Friday nights, have happy hour and some good eats. We had a burger and chicken strips. It's not fancy food but it was good, really good for what it was. Prices are okay, they run a bit higher on the eats but the eats are solid. If you find Stephanie working (she's on nights) lucky you. It's not just that she's super friendly with tons of energy, it's that she is a highly competent bartender. She works quickly and with excellect accuracy. She'll make sure you have a great (and safe) night. Have fun!

Full bar and a relic from the past--cigarettes! No smoking inside but we thought it was cool

Cozy place with a great staff. Nicole is the best! I also heard it was haunted if you're in to that.

This bar is just cool and lowkey. Good feeling overall to the place. A couple of the bartenders are really great.

Great little spot. Low key but good people all around. Random words because this app is forcing me to write more words.

True speakeasy connected to the The Hive…read more This is a hidden gem in Oregon City and of course it should be, being that it's a speakeasy. I ordered a couple cocktails here and both were top notched. The bartender was busy but was still friendly. The vibe here is trendy and definitely a great place to bring a date. The night I came there was a live singer performing.

We were visiting family in the area and had two people in our group local to the area who had been there several times in the past. We first went and checked in and were told there was a 10-15 minute wait. The hostess was very kind, took our number and sent us to the upstairs bar to wait for a table. We were greeted by a friendly bartender who took our drink orders (cocktails and wine) and we enjoyed our beverages while chatting by the bar. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with large velvet green booths, all new, updated and well done. The drinks were all great. The downstairs hostess came upstairs to let us know our table was ready, and we paid and went downstairs. So far, we were all really happy with our experience. The prices of the drinks were all around $15-20+ but we were all okay with it given the good service (thus far), high end atmosphere, etc. There were people in there but it was a pretty mellow Saturday evening. We were given a nice large area to sit and thanked the hostess. The waitress came and was clearly a little overwhelmed but took our drink orders. I mentioned a drink my husband had upstairs and asked if I could have it, but was told they had a different menu down here and I needed to order from that menu. I looked it over while the others ordered their drinks, and when she came back to me, I asked if I could go upstairs to order the drink I wanted, and bring it down. She said sure. I put in an order for a couple food items with her, and she left. My brother in law kindly offered to go upstairs and order the drink and was gone for quite a long time. We learned that when he was upstairs, he went to the bar and mentioned I wanted a drink from his bar. The bartender's mood shifted and he said he had 10 drinks ahead of my BIL, and asked him to go downstairs to order. My BIL informed him he was told the downstairs bar didn't have the ingredients, and was sent up here. The bartender was annoyed and asked my BIL to go downstairs for 10 minutes and come back again to order. My BIL replied that he was happy to wait at the bar instead and took a seat. After a long while, the bartender curtly said that my BIL would have to pay for the drink up here, which my BIL of course agreed to. My BIL said it was very uncomfortable and the bartender was being rude (a couple sitting at the bar also mentioned this). We are guessing he was overwhelmed and didn't handle it well. He brought the drink downstairs, no problem. We were all sitting for a while and noticed that my BIL never received the beer he ordered from the waitress downstairs. And after about 45 minutes I asked about the food I had ordered (she hadn't checked in with us at all during that time, and I should mention it was not busy at all - several tables open). The waitress said she forgot to put it in. That was it. No offer to quickly put it in, no offer to comp a drink, no real apology. We asked for the bill and split it between two cards. When we got the receipts and cards back, my husband found they had given both him and his brother (the other payer) copies of my husband's receipt-so he assumed he was double charged. He went to the front to bring this to their attention and explained how he was upset by the poor service throughout the evening. He received a quick response that they had printed the receipt twice (didn't charge twice) and were short staffed that evening. We are all understanding people and my sister in law ran restaurants for years, we all had food service jobs and are sympathetic but really just disappointed in this place. I'm writing this review because the employees there just didn't seem to care about the issues we raised. They had an acoustic artist playing that evening who was phenomenal. If you go there on a different day with different staff, I'm sure you'd have a great time. But for the price and ambiance, we really expected better service.

(20+ years living in Texas and 4+ years in Oregon trying to find some god damn good bbq). My buddy and I were just traveling through and came across this place. The portions are very big, but the quality of the food will have you willingly putting yourself in a post Thanksgiving food coma. Every sauce is made in house, and the flavor is absolutely immaculate. We ordered the wings (Asian Fire and Passionfruit Habanero), Brisket Sandwich, Cheesesteak Samdwich, and garlic Parmesan fries. Every fry was perfectly crisp. Every piece of brisket was falling apart. My god what an absolutely gem of a find in the middle of no where.

They have the best beer selection around and the staff is always incredibly friendly, cool, and helpful , the kind of crew that actually makes you want to come back. The food? Easily some of the best in the area. I've had the cheesesteak, brisket tacos, brisket sandwich, all fantastic, but the real showstoppers are their 30-day dry-aged ribeye and dry-aged New York. Seriously next level. Perfect flavor, perfectly cooked, and honestly some of the best meat you'll find anywhere in town. I've eaten at pretty much every restaurant on the main strip, and 1933 is the only one I keep coming back to. It's a true hidden gem in West Linn and absolutely worth checking out. Great owners, they care so much about quality. Extremely thankful for this restaurant!!!!

I booked on OpenTable and added a note that my mother needed a wall to place her crutches against, and they gave us 2 options. Very kind of them, and the gentleman helped my mother get situated. Service was exceptional. Food menu seemed light but enough of a variety to choose from, and it all was absolutely delicious. Had the drink School for Ants which the taste was of perfection. For lunch we shared the pears and goat cheese which by far was my favorite dish. Also ordered the ricotta gnocchi which I thought the bourguignon was a little strong but I believe that's normal, so it's just my personal preference. The Tokyo hot chicken tenders were tender and juicy, and the honey and sauce paired well together. Shout out to the staff that brought our forgotten to go box to our car. I finally saw a city parking lot. I didn't even look at the menu; I just wanted to sit by the water to eat. I decided to make a reservation to ensure I got a seat. They only had two time slots, 4:30 and 7:30. I opted for the earlier time. We arrived at the restaurant, and there were others there without a reservation who were trying to get outdoor seating. Unfortunately for them, they could not get outdoor seating. We were seated outside, and the view was gorgeous. I was torn between a few things on the menu. I decided on the beet and burrata salad with a side of steak. I was really hoping for a fried Brussels appetizer. The server told me I could order a side as an appetizer, so I did. I was hoping that my friend would help me eat them, but she didn't. We both had the house-made ginger ale. The Brussels were brought out, and they were not quite what I expected. They were halved and sauteed. I was thinking fried. The server must have heard me saying this because she came over and told me she could have them fried. I thought the leaves would have been cut and then fried, but they just fried them halved. The salad was good, but it was way too much for me to eat. The ginger ale was also good. We enjoyed our peaceful dinner on the lake, and if we are in the area again, we will be back.
