This part is in the middle of nowhere between Gresham and Boring. The bar itself is not boring... we got there around 11:00 p.m., and the place wasn't super full. Reset at the bar and chatted with the bartender who was nice and talk to us even though she was busy. They have an AMI Jukebox. We enjoyed playing some songs that they weren't familiar with I like Groove Armada Super Stylin. The kitchen was closed so we ordered onion rings. I have a feeling that the food there is good. We were last here before COVID and the saloon looks so much better! We showed up around 530 pm on a Saturday. The parking was already packed. We found a table and a server immediately came over to take our drink order. The rest of our party arrived 15 minutes after we got there and as soon as they sat down,  our server got their drink order. Love that attentiveness! A friend raved about the French Dip and onion rings. The French Dip was bigger than I envisioned. Yum! The onion rings were crispy and remained intact with each bite(the onion did not slip out from the breading). The French Dip is only listed as a Wednesday lunch special; however, our server said they can usually make it throughout the week. We also got the Saturday dinner special- Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon, baked potato, and texas toast and Bacon cheeseburger. The burger was stacked and filling!  The Filet Mignon was good but not my favorite bite of the night. Overall, happy with the service and food. Would return. read more

4/12/23 I've been here alot of times and always had good service and quality food until this evening. I sat at the bar and waited for 15 minutes and was about to leave but the cook came by and asked if I had been helped. I said no. He took my drink order and dinner order. 5 stars to him! I never had any of the bartenders/ wait staff even check on me till I flagged one down to close out. I am not sure if I will go here again! read more

We were there Friday and never had anyone come to our table, had to go to the bar to order everything, bus our own table, took almost 2 hours to get food. Staff was super rude. We have been coming here for years and the last few times have been a shit show. Plenty of other places to go. read more

Been there on several occasions. Brandi, Autumn and Mandy are so rude. Such poor service. They talk about customers after they leave the bar. They talk about employees to customers. More of a gossip fest for them than a job. Get a life girls! The owner needs to hire people with some actual customer service experience/skills. read more

It's a nice little country bar plus food but gotta remind myself to eat only on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, all other days the cook seems to cook differently for different folks, most of the patrons are Caucasians so you have nothing to fear ( I'm assuming ), but if your not white or the cook does not like you, your NOT getting the food you ordered! I think the bartender named Charlie ( I think ) makes one of the best home cooked meals I've tasted in a long time and he cooks Tuesday and Wednesday's and he treats you right no matter what your skin color is! Just had to puke out everything in my stomach due to really bad food, talk about gut wrenching pain - that cook better not run into me outside of this joint! I gotta say I used to go there and have fun but the young rude staff they have need to go, disrespectful waitresses who poor terrible drinks. Great place. And it's gotten so much better after Lainey quit. Most of the time if I saw her working I would turn around and leave due to the fact that she always seemed high or she was drinking on the job (I could smell alcohol on her breath.) In addition, she's always hitting on the next guy while she's wearing a wedding ring! And lastly, asking her sister in law jasmine to make a fake yelp post to falsely slander other bartenders who have never seen her. Made our fourth visit in the last 3 weeks and every time has been wonderful. The bartender/waitresses have been very friendly, the food has been great and the prices are very reasonable. If you like a nice relaxed place to have a bite and a drink or two you can't go wrong. read more

I have been going to PHS for five years. Love the Friday prime rib and the people are nice. The last few times I went there was an odor, which seemed to make the experience unpleasant rather than pleasant. I will probably go back in the future, hoping they fix the problem. If the smell wasn't heinous, I would give it 4/5. The odor seemed to indicate a problem with plumbing or a septic tank. read more
