Dishonest establishment... $65 for 3 cheeseburgers and frozen tater tots. Live in manhattan and could get some of the best burgers in the world for less than that. Who charges a to-go fee? Understand that prices have gone up but randomly making up the prices of a to-go order doesn't seem like a fair fix. read more

Possibly the greatest bar I've been to in a long time great atmosphere wonderful locals can't wait to go back

A lone bartender and pair of lonely locals perked their heads up as Olivia and me stepped into the Bungalow for an afternoon drink. Their eyes said, "ya'll ain't from around these here parts" while the barmaid's actions said, "don't care t'all, whatcha drinkin." Bungalow Bar & Grill is a small town country bar with pool tables, simple grill for pub grub, and a jukebox playing whatever that feller from nearby Stevenson chose. Leave your moral inquiries outside when entering Bungalow because this bar is at the edge of town somewhere between the veneer of respectability and seedier layers lurking on the fringes. A round of local Backwoods Brewing craft beers and an order of mysterious fried beef fingers called Steakettes gave us the excuse to look away and settle in to our own conversation. We don't want no trouble and neither do you'ns. Another round of drinks and we were good. We quietly paid our respects and bill before slipping back out the front door. I'll definitely visit Bungalow Bar & Grill again ... the next time I'm in Carson, WA ... which may be never or it just might be soon if I'm in need of a heavy dose of surrealism and a cold beer. read more

Nighttime bartender is a smart ass. I love her. They have a limited Booze selection but great character. 8 of us from work went in for burgers and to drink excessively. We were all successful. The burgers were good and cooked properly to order. The locals bought us a round and much good cheer ensued. I would drop by again. Do not expect fine cuisine, but its a great dive bar. I have to first mention Beth the Bartender. She's was a bit prickly fromt the onset but warmed up to us city slickers within no time! She was hilarious and yet so good with the obnoxiously drunk locals, even refusing to serve them for periods of time. This place is the perfect follow-up to a visit to the local hot springs visit...you detoxify at the hot springs and retoxify here. The food is all grease based and they serve it all night. The drinks are cheap and poured very generously. The patrons all know each other and provide much entertainment. I'll be here after each visit to the hot spring - guaranteed! read more

Peg is gem bartender Sara works on Wednesdays now she is Columbia River favorite bartender for local's. Tuesday is taco day and very busy big taco's the famous Bungalow burger is good. Music jut box off the internet so you can listen to any kind of music you want. This is the kinda bar where it blue collar, construction worker's loggers heavy equipment operators. This is the kinda place everyone work's blue collar and if you go in here without a job by the end of the night a job will be offered or they will look at you as lazy. I like this bar people are good to me I'm the local native half breed fishermen with a few business in local area I stop by just to check in with Peg and her sister, now I hope to go when Sara works I'm sure the crowd will be fun when Sara is there. read more

This is a locals hangout, and in some regards I feel we made a mistake of going here. The owner/bartender was nice, but the overly drunk man that wouldn't stop talking to us and that eventually stood right behind me was creepy was really too much. Get the broasted chicken!!!!! It's soooooooooo good. I sometimes crave it! The "Bung" as us locals call it, is a fabulously quirky place with permanent human fixtures at the bar and Todd and Peggy are awesome! read more

12 of us stopped in for lunch on a bike ride to Mt. St. Helens. This looks like a small place not used to large groups all at once. The lone waitress/bartender was super friendly and efficient. Delicious burgers and other sandwiches were served quickly, drinks kept full, and checks split accurately and happily. Great service and delicious bar food. Just be careful, they deliver 5 bottles of condiments with your order. Their red stuff is strong (but tasty) horseradish and not fry sauce. I'll definitely go back. read more
