If you know Sandy you know we have more pizza places than anything else in town, it's actually pretty good. Tacos are good as well. Bar staff is generally good. Stars are for the food, missing stars are for the experience. The atmosphere here is exactly what it's always been. A trashy bar that's great for drama. Started my night here having a greasy night. Great people, great KJ. I ordered a pitcher the weight staff didn't give me any glasses. Some random lady tells me I can't drink out of the pitcher directly. I jokingly start to chug the pitche, she says I'm done. Charges me full price for a pitcher I'd barely got to drink. Then tells me I'm cut off. And shortly after I was respectfully told to leave by the weight staff. They them selfs said I'm good to come back another night. I told them respectfully I'd never be back to drink in their establishment. And I would recommend the same for anyone dropping in to visit for whatever reason. fun for a minute or two but eventually when the "manager of the bar" is in drinking and having a good time. Owner was so rude and aggressive. My husband and I were visiting sandy and were lost so we pulled into a parking spot for a couple minutes to look at the map. A lady pulled up aggressively in her black truck and told us she was the owner. She continued to yell at us how we were in her spot and how we need to move or she'll get others involved. So I was DD and Got cut off??? My friends and I showed up and ordered a beer. After the first beer our friend went up to order the second round and they said I was cut off?? Maybe I was laughing too much? I didn't think anything of it because I was driving home and not focused on drinking. Later, we moved outside; I took a sip of my friends beer (My B) and the bartender ran over and said "NOT HIM!" and took the beer from my hands then poured it out. I asked the bar what I did to get cut off, they were confused and said "I'm not sure, but if you got cut off be careful." At this point some people were threating to call the cops????? I left to sit in the car until my friends were ready to leave. The owner then came out and said I have two strikes, and they would call the cops if I showed up again. Didn't have food ... had 2 beers and my friend had 2-3 drinks ... and bought a t shirt ... and bought a few others drinks. Everything was fine until I believed "the bartender " a female. Don't know her name ..was absolutely rude and out of line. I have NEVER been asked to leave any establishment EVER. I was respectful until she was not . Clearly has issues . Not a good front person...Period.... We'll let me address that each time I went to retrieve my phone ... the first time I'll say that I don't know " bar" protocol in regards to going behind the bar ... so my bad . But after that and before that I was VERY polite with my words .. only asking if I could get the phone and NEVER once was I disrespectful... only after the bartender ( don't know her name ) was extremely aggressive and rude did I then mirror her in my tone . Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Btw is has 2 beers ... and although I'm not a huge drinker ... I definitely not intoxicated. I'm not from this area and I can tell you that where I grew up at the very least treat people the way you'd like to be treated. Trying to " shame " me because your employees or I should probably employee had horrific behavior I'd pretty sad on your part . Maybe just an apology would've done better .... All the servers are great other than the chunky rude manager. She is nice to some and out right rude as dirt to others. I watched her pour a four count pour for a regular and a 1.5 count pour for me. I love this gem. I do feel like I get some odd looks from some of the regulars when I walk in (newer to the area and have only been a dozen times or so) but isn't that how most dive bars are? Walked in for a quick drink and a bite today while running errands in Sandy. Service was great and so was the food! And all at great prices! Although there were a lots of locals there it was a very welcoming vibe over all. Lots of TVs and various sports options to watch as well which is always a plus! The staff is so helpful and patient. The food is so good. The pizzas are my favorite. They are following all Covid safety measures! The staff walks the floor often so you're not left waiting. Love this place. I'm partial to a good dive bar and this one is just the right amoutn of dive for me. It's my go to spot when returning from skiing up at Mt Hood. They have a 4pm poker tournament on Sundays so if I get down early thats always fun. Free pool on Sundays as well. This bar supported a drunken man throwing a drink at a woman tonight and then kicked HER out for defending herself! Tonight we went to "No Place" to enjoy some local music and have a couple drinks. We are new in town, but have been to this bar maybe 2 or 3 times. After an hour or so, two young couples sat down next to us. They asked us if the seats were taken, and as far as we knew-they were not. There was a visibly intoxicated man sitting across from us, he seemed to be upset that they were sitting at our table. We overheard him tell the couples that "They were clearly not from here."and that they were "Invading his space". He then threw his ENTIRE beer on one of the women. Naturally, she threw her drink back and her husband stood up to defend her. We all jumped up in shock. The entire bar staff then intervened and the bartender told the woman that she was wrong to defend herself and needed to leave. Another man at the bar then grabbed the husband of the woman by the throat. Obviously we were very uncomfortable and tried to tell the staff what had actually happened and that the woman was simply defending herself. But rather than telling the drunken man who threw his drink that he needed to leave OR the man who grabbed the other by the throat, they kicked out the "out of town" couples. I could not believe what I had just witnessed. The couples had just gotten there, had just ordered food and were seemingly not intoxicated-however the men involved were clearly belligerent and looking for trouble. So what I gathered from this experience was, if you are not a "regular" at this bar, you are treated like trash. By the customers and the staff. We left immediately after this event took place. I will never support or attend this establishment again and will be sure to tell every person I encounter that this place does not welcome "outsiders". I would love to ask the female bartenders at this establishment how they would react if a man threw a drink at them? I would also love to ask another husband if he would defend his wife if he witnessed a man throw a drink at her? read more

No Place Saloon is your typical small town get together bar that boasts mainly older patrons, mixed with a few younger partiers as well. It's a pretty spacious building I must say. The happy hour was a bit disappointing as there was no food on the HH menu... but the overall food prices were pretty cheap, as well as the drinks. This place can be good depending on the day. I have never tried ordering food here so drinks are the only thing I know anything about here. I was with a buddy a few days ago. I asked if they had the stuff there to make a drink I was thinking of. Brittani told me that they didn't have the stuff in. Okay, that is fine except for one detail. I decided to look for myself. They had the stuff there. What is that? If she doesn't know what I'm talking about then she should ask. Don't try to screw around with it. I will say something even if it is not straight to the person. I typically check so I know I'm not just saying something. One thing I always ask for is be straight with me then I'll be straight in return. The prices were okay. Brittani suggested something else which is good but I was a bit insulted because she didn't give me accurate information and she didn't do anything to really show she cared at all and she suggested a "fun drink" (excuse me but what is this when you don't know what I'm talking about). Terrible service, mediocre food. My lady and I have given this place 3 chances and this was strike three. The frumpy waitress greeting us by "what do you want?" didn't start the evening great! Our drinks went dry 3 times where I had to walk to the bar and stand while the waitress/bartender finished her oh so important conversation with friends. Our to go food was ready for who knows how long before we finally inquired if it was ready or not. "Oh, we thought we told you!" the "side order" of tots we ordered came in the to go box of my burger and were sufficiently drenched in grease. They were also so "well done" my dog dropped them and wouldn't eat them! She eats everything by the way! This will be our last trip to No Place which is unfortunate, we were looking for a good, close watering hole for dinners to go. Oh, and to the frumpy waitress/bartender, we are VERY good tippers when we are treated with respect and even mediocre service. I hope you put the $0.75 tip to good use. read more
