We went with a group of friends and had a great time. The beer was very cold which is a big deal for me, nice selection on tap. If your into waiting for cold tasteless food and the wrong beer than this place is for you!!!! We walked in to a not very busy house and waited for nearly 10 minutes before anybody even asked us what we wanted. We ordered food and waited nearly a fortnight (almost 40 mins) for food to come out. We literally watched people come in after we did and get food and drinks faster than we did. The burger they brought me was very cold and tasteless. It was the one with bacon and blue cheese. The patty was small and tasteless, the bun was massive, the "thick bacon" was two small slivers of bacon, and the blue cheese was over powering. My frys was cold and the ranch was runny like water. I actually turned the burger back and refused to pay for it. Then they brought me the wrong beer. Needless to say at this point I was not happy. I told them I wanted my check and wanted to leave. I've been here once before and wasn't satisfied. The staff is beyond stupid. All they do is bump into each other and look lost the entire time. Scooters is really good. The atmosphere is good. We ate in the bar area because the family area was busy. The music is not too loud and the service was excellent considering the bartender was also the server. They needed about one more person running food so it did not cool down. The BLAT I had was good. I loved the char and they cooked it to order. I enjoyed the smaller fries but could use a bit less salt. Overall it is a good place to eat and the prices are very fair. Be patient with the staff. Less floozy bartenders that flirt with all the men around you and ignore you would be better. Didn't get food because she the "bartender" forgot us (sitting a foot in front of her) us being patient after an hour of service giving us one beer as we sat down to begin with! and forgot to put our order in as she put a man's order in a half hour later realizing she forgot us. I have seen several reviews for poor service and it taking forever to get food. However, they must have gotten all their kinks worked out because we went for our first time this evening and the food and service was amazing!!! We had a party of 7 with 4 kids 5 years old and under. The staff was so kind to our kids and the play area made our dinner so much more enjoyable. We will be back and encourage others to give it a try or a second chance. We had a variety of food and my Mom had the chicken and waffles and was very impressed with the flavors and especially the gravy and she has tried chicken and waffles all over the place! read more

I've love sandy and grew up here but some folks here are simply fast food people... and they have little appreciation for good food. This is why we have a so many fast food restaurants... Been here a few times both at the bar and in the family section. Great variety of food and everything I have eaten has been very good! I recommend the tacos, the fish and chips and the grilled chicken sandwich. Food comes out hot and the beer on tap is nice and cold! We had been wanting to try this place out...went to their website that showed their hours open till 11pm...we got there an hour before close ...tv's were on lights were on...door was open no closed sign anywhere to be seen. Even walked in the restaurant and sat ourselves no one paid any attention until almost 10 minutes later when the waitress came up and said they were closed. She had no explanation of why their hours showed different other than there's been a few times they closed early because they ran out of food. Love the happy hour menu. Service can be hit and miss. They are usually busy during happy hour so getting a table can be challenging. Nachos and tacos are tasty and no complaints on the other items we've ordered. They don't have a wide menu offering so it can be difficult to please everyone. read more

I'm not usually in this neighborhood but my boyfriend and I were passing by and stopped in. I also am not usually into a sport's bar kind of atmosphere, but we were pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. I feel like servers in this kind of environment aren't very genuine or care much about the service they're giving. Our server Paige was very attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. I felt like she was taking her time and really cared about the service she gave, which was a pleasant surprise. When there was a small mistake with our food she happily fixed it and didn't make me feel like I was being picky. The food was surprisingly good too! Its a tough one to judge. Been here three times on our hour lunch with my boss. Both times was really good. Slow to get food but good. Yesterday sucked. They did say they have a new cook the time before. But we all ordered sanwhiches, three clubs and a BlAt...all took 50min. No time to eat there we took it to go and mine was a blat...they forgot the A. Also we ordered the nacho for an apitizer and they brought it out 2 min before the sandwhiches. And the nacho was also made wrong. They forgot beans. There was a hair in the salad that my boss orderd with his food that also came out 50 min after we order. I understand new cooks but would be nice for the staff to give a heads up that food will take about an hour...so we could have ate lunch that day. read more

Have visited twice. They have great prices on the food on their happy hour menu. They also have numerous tv's to watch games & an area for family dining & a play area for little kids. I think a lot of thought went into the planning of this new establishment. We've been a few times but liked the menu choices. The one thing that could possibly be improved on is staff sitting at bar eating when they should really be more aware of the needs of the patrons. Our meal was during a slow period yet I was never asked whether I would have liked another glass of wine. My husband got tired of the two waitress/bar staff gossip that went on and on as they ate at the bar. We will definitely be back as we are locals. So just finished eating lunch at scooters with my parents, not impressed with their service. We ordered our food: pizza, burger and pasta. After 45 mins the pizza comes out, no burger or pasta. They said it would just be another min for the rest of our food. 30 mins later we finally get our dishes. During which we kept asking where are food was like 10 mins intervals. Our waitress only talked to us 2 the whole 1 1/2 we were there. We had to ask the other waitress's for help. After our food got out told them we were disappointed with how long it took to get food and that they c ouldn't get our order right either. They finally owned up and apologized. Wow have been in before I came In with my family today and right off the bat we had issues our server was a very rude short Hispanic girl that had a very vulgar mouth. I asked to speak with her manager and she walked around the corner and said hey there a#% holes want to talk to you to her boss. I then explained to her that the server was using very vulgar language in front of my 3 year old twin girls and that isn't ok. Give this place a chance!! Despite some of the negative reviews, we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did! The food was sooooo good, husband had a burger and I had the shredded pork quesadilla. I could not stop eating it, the pork was so juicy and flavorful, burger and fries were great too. Tracy, our server, greeted us promptly and took great care of us. Drinks and food are reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu. Menu is limited but in my opinion, limited menu makes for better food and you know you are getting fresh items, not bottom of the freezer items. Lots of TV's and very clean atmosphere. Waited at least 20 minutes for someone to come to our table to bring water and maybe welcome us. But it never did happen. We are gluten free and wanted to know what they had. They were out of apple juice for the kids and other food items that we ordered including sides for the kids meals (fruit cup) and chicken on main menu. Restroom had no paper towels. No one greeting at the door to even say if you could seat yourself or needed to wait. When asked the waitress they were confused. Waitress did her best but did not know answers to most questions including what food item she would recommend. Food was just ok. Fries tasted great. Did have a huge kids play area which was nice.
